Located at the Roam Inn in Munising, MI, Tracey's was an avant garde dining experience - you can't get Unicorn Piss (IPA) just anywhere. Lovely dining rooms and Jamie took SUCH good care of us! We shared orders of pirogies and roasted Brussels sprouts - very interesting tastes and textures! We also shared a bone marrow butter burger with bacon. THE BEST!! I'm sorry we were keeping room for dessert, because we didn't finish the parmesan fries. Dessert was Good Ole Chocolate Cake and Bread Pudding. Oh, and I may have mentioned it was my wife's birthday, so her dessert had a candle in it and the dining room sang happy birthday to her.

Loved the chowder and potato chip white fish. Service was great. Atmosphere was charming.

The quality of the food was not at all worth the price. I ordered a fish entree with whipped potatoes and asparagus. It was entirely underwhelming. For $40 a plate I expected something, anything that stood out. Sides were cold and lacked any flavor, fish was not special. The space is clean. The service was okay... after waiting a few minutes to be sat (no problem at all there) we waited another 10+ minutes for a high chair - yet I told the host we needed one upon arrival. Multiple people walking by every few minutes seeing we were standing up with our 1 year old. Greeted by our server, drinks brought to the table and still no high chair. I finally asked again politely where I could go grab it myself. The server herself was friendly. Hence she gets two stars.

This place is a must try if you're going to be in Munising! The restaurant is part of a local inn and has very chic wood cabin vibes. Our server, Madeline, was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious, but the kitchen was pretty slow. We waited about 45 minutes for our food to come out, and we had to quickly pack it up to make it back into town for a sunset boat tour of Pictured Rocks. Definitely plan on extra buffer room if you're doing something similar. Still, I'd come back next time I'm up in the area :)

All of the staff from the second you walk in were so friendly. The food was incredible. I was so happy to find a place like this in the area. They even had blue cheese stuffed olives for the martinis which can be hard to find anywhere.

The staff was very kind and attentive. Politely answering our questions and gave us great recommendations for wine pairings. The menu is divided in small plates, medium, and large plates. If friends were joining for dinner I'd absolutely have tried the small plates for a variety. Healthy portions for the cost.

Can someone say delicious!?! If you're looking for an upscale dinner while visiting the UP then this is the place for you. Reservations not needed and we walked in after hiking all day through the national park, so come as you are. But I do recommend getting there early or after 7 cause the restaurant fills up quickly. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is seasonal; however, they had not yet switched it to their fall/winter menu yet. Starters are served small plate style, but easily serve two. We started our dinner with the whipped ricotta with extra toasted bread. It was delicious, the perfect amount of herbs to balance out the confit garlic. For main dishes the potato chip whitefish in tomato broth was balanced well with herbs. It was the perfect warm dish after a day of hiking in the brisk air. My husband and son shared the surf and turf. Cooked and seasoned to perfection! The zip sauce is a great accompaniment to the steak and potatoes. Don't let the price scare you away. It is worth every penny! As for the finale the crème brûlée is rich and creamy and the perfect end to an amazing meal.

Ahi tuna plate, delicious and artfully prepared from the outdoor patio overlooking Lake Superior

Best restaurant in Munising! We love the view of Lake Superior from the outdoor patio. Service is excellent and plates are fairly small but tastefully prepared. We had the ahi tuna, brussels sprouts, and whitefish plates for a healthy and delicious meal. Note: there is no sign for the restaurant, which is why it took us so long to discover it. Look for Tracey's inside the Roam Inn across the street from the high school.

Food was delicious! Service was good. Restaurant was not loud, just normal chit-chat. Nice views of Superior.
