Delicious cocktails. Incredible views. A variety of drinks to pick from but all well made. Atmosphere is as good as it gets.

Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery - Two very tasty but very small fish tacos.

We prefer bar service over dining service, seem to be generally more attentive and the two staff work as a team. Brandon is waiting on us. He's friendly and good at customer service. Ordered the whitefish dip, baba Ghanouj, superior whitefish tater tots, tabouli salad, superior whitefish chowder, superior whitefish tacos with black pepper fries and a spicy crispy chicken sandwich and cabbage slaw. $111 They do charge a 4% transparency fund: employee retention, living wages, staff happiness. Written on the bottom of your bill. The dishes are scratch made, in house. Nice! The tabouli is too, has some mixed greens in it. There is something sweet in the dressing or the buckwheat, not my thing at all. Rest of the salad is good though. The baba ghanouj on its own is quite garlicky, slight Smokey flavor to it. It doesn't work with the pita crackers. Not loving this at all. The whitish dip is good. My hubby liked the sweet pickled for watermelon rind garnish, I didn't like them much. The spicy chicken sandwich on the brioche bun is really good. The chicken is super crispy. It's quite good. The whitish tacos are good. The whitefish seems to be blackened, really nicely. The fish is light and perfectly cooked. The whitefish chowder is so good! The tater tots are so delicious. No slouch here. Crunchy and so yummy! Food was so unique and quiet food. The side pepper fries are and slaw ate both a bit blah, compared to the majority of our flavorful meals Service is top notch.

As we were waiting in line a bartender walked past and mentioned a free table with seat yourself FCFS in the tap room. We snagged the table and were greeted immediately. The table was decorated with some cute hand drawn coasters. Ordered a couple beverages and appetizers as well as mains. The food was all delicious and service was great. We ordered a carrot cake cupcake to share for dessert. This was our least favorite part of the experience, but my partner's only complaint was the surprise golden raisins. He's not a huge fan of "pieces" in his cake. I loved the frosting, although it wasn't traditional cream cheese frosting. It was decadent and rich. 8/10.

Food prices were moderately high for portion with our dishes. This is also reflected on the menu with three category size ranges. We Questioned server about this and suggest you do also so your understanding plate portion. . I had the smash burger and the wife had the gold lentil Curry. When I have to pay 23.00 for a burger it better be good. With that, I have the give this an 8.5 out of 10. It was truly a very good burger with perfectly seasoned fries cooked to perfection. With reference to the wife's curry all I can say is nothing but positive adjectives to describe what she was eating finalizing with one of the top three Curry Dishes she has ever had. Ambiance was fine. Large Movie screen on wall. Interesting and fitting, you could say trendy. Nothing special, nothing lacking. Service was fine. A three primarily due to price for value but both dish options we tried were above average for taste.

There are two entrances, with the front having a staircase. The rear entrance has ramps and looked more accessible. We were greeted right away by most of the servers and sat in a comfortable booth. There are seating areas that look good for groups as well as cozy couples. You can also consider a seat at the bar to watch all of the kitchen action. Chips and salsa were provided as soon as we sat, with drink orders made shortly thereafter. No prices were listed for the margaritas, oddly enough. Are they gratis? *shrugs* Smokin'Hubster ordered a massive burrito (macho?) with beef, chicken and shrimp. I had the tacos el pastor with a side of rice and beans. Neither of use finished lunch because the portions were huge. The food was very fresh. I loved the mixed veggies in the rice, they added some great color. I appreciated the soft corn tortillas, they gave the tacos a rustic mouthfeel and flavor. BONUS: Both the chopped onions and the minced cilantro were served on the side, very thoughtful for folks that aren't fans of them. Our server was super attentive, the bathrooms are really clean and nice, the whole restaurant is well-lit and warmly decorated. We were super happy with lunch and we'll be back to try more menu items.
