Grabbed a to-go burrito. Delicious. Staff was awesome. When you call in an order I suspect they wait for you to show up since they don't charge over the phone. I'd rather they charged over the phone but they may not get that many takeout orders. I have a dog so I have to do take out. Good pizza Average service Place needs some TLC. Ice fest season. I know they are busy. They totally ignore the phone rings. You had to come in to order and wait an hour to pick it up. Cheese was definitely old and smelled horrible. Employees are rude in store and over the phone, but again do not eat their food its 100% old/rotten. It's unfortunate for them because you could have a "want to eat business" instead of "it's all we can get" business. My family and I are from the lower peninsula and were recommended this spot by the owner of the campground that we are staying at. Walked in yesterday around 6pm- Horrible customer service - very rude male employee with a mean look on his face came out of back and yelled "no more orders til we get caught up" and walked away. Service was absolute shit. Food was average and overcooked. The workers obviously have no customer service skills whatsoever. I called three times prior to just going in to order, as the result of the restaurant not taking phone calls, which apparently they're notorious for. The wait for the ONE medium pizza was thirty-five minutes, which was alright, but when picking it up, there were many people waiting to pick their orders up as well. None of the workers called names for orders, or even attempted to help these other customers. We ended up waiting an extra half an hour, and when finally approached, our order was sitting on the oven THE WHOLE TIME! It is great. If you want undercooked pizza, rude staff and slow service. Literally a sign on the inside that says "If we don't answer the phone we are busy." Staff hangs out back smoking herb. Guy slicing up the pizza did so at a literal snails pace. Guy working register could not be bothered to answer the phone. Kids working the line had no sense of urgency. No lie my pizza was RAW in the center. The wood fired options in town are way better with a better staff and attitude. The joint looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. We have tried to order from here several times during our week in town, but multiple attempts calling each time yields no phone response. I've verified the phone number with them too, when I arrived. Still no one picks up. When I did arrive to place my order (since no one picked up the phone), I waited in line outside the shop. 2 groups were in front of me. When I went inside, I attempted to place my order. I was interrupted and told they stopped taking orders 3 minutes ago. I asked if it mattered I called 5 times in the last half hour to attempt to order and then just waited awhile outside, and she said no. That will be my last attempt going to Main Street Pizza. That's ok though. Tonight we will eat at Pictured Rocks Pizza (amazing pizza, and infinitely better service). We also got to try out EJ's Dine or Dash across the street and fell in love with their burgers and pierogis and have eaten there twice as well. We called for delivery to our hotel. They advertise in the hotel book. We were told that it would Be an hr to deliver to hotel but 25 minutes if we picked up. Since it was already 8:30 pm we elected to pick it up ourselves. The place was packed and they weren't answering the phone anymore. There were 3 people working their butts off. When my husband called in the pizza order he asked for their special and asked if the green olives could get swapped out for Black. They said "sure". They gave the pizza to my husband and asked him if he had paid for it yet. He said he was ethical and no he did not. So he paid and we left. The pizza was pretty heavy as in weight to Carry! When we opened it we noticed that it had green olives instead of Black. We are not that fussy so it was not a big deal to us and knowing how busy they were we let it pass. The pizza was loaded and delicious. They didn't skimp on the toppings for The Deluxe Pizza. It had large chunks of ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, green olives, onion, green pepper and an ample amount of cheese. I typically like sausage and whatever pizza but I did not miss the sausage on this creation. They serve other foods too including sub sandwiches which my husband eyed up at the restaurant and said there were a couple that looked pretty good. We would eat at this place again for lunch or dinner and if we come Back to Munising would like to try some of their other menu items. read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my Main Street Pizza experience! Came on a Monday during off-season when most restaurants were closed. Service was courteous and efficient - but we were also the only dine-in customers. They have some seating on the side (with outlets that we used to charge up our phones after a long day!) We ordered a large pizza with ham and pineapple, and they were generous with the toppings. The pizza was great, the crust was perfect and had a bite to it like a thin crust pizza, but had the doughy thickness of a normal pizza. The cheese was really melty as well to a point where some of it was falling off as we picked it up. Talk about fresh! We also ordered some nachos to share as a family. They were tasty, but nothing to particularly rave about. We're snowmobiling in the Munising area, staying in Wetmore and heard Main Street Pizza had the Best Pizza around. After a long day we called about 10 times to order food. Someone finally answered, only to tell us that, although it is advertised, they don't deliver. Another group staying here with us had the same problem. No one would answer the phone so they had to drive there to place their order. While waiting for their food they watched the counter person pick up the ringing phone multiple times, look at the number and simply not answer. My first impression was not necessarily good, for I had read other yelp reviews that said that they were rude to tourists (which, I am) and that they were super slow and lackluster. But, my experience was actually pretty good. We orders two fourteen inch pizzas to go, one pepperoni and mushroom, the other pepperoni and ground beef. Also a nacho. They had a deal going on where we could get two pizzas with two toppings for $24. The pizzas were delicious, and despite the bad reviews saying they took 1+ hours to make the pizzas, we had our two pizzas and nachos in about twenty/thirty minutes. My only complaints; the crust, it was a little stale and chewy tasting, and this fan blowing directly into the kitchen.
