Everything from sandwiches to bowls. We had both. Sandwiches to go to eat on the trails in the afternoon and bowls in the evening. AND the nicest part is that it's connected to the ByGeorge brewery next door. You can take your food to the brewery or bring your beer back to the deli. We loved it so much we had both lunch and dinner. The servers were extremely nice and offered tips and advice on each of the menu items. (especially the bowls). Stopped by Driftwood Deli to grab some food before heading up Sugarloaf Mountain, and it definitely hit the spot! We got the turkey bacon sandwich, chicken Milanese, and the avocado toast; everything was fresh and flavorful. The food was yum across the board. The service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance inside the deli was welcoming without being overdone. It's a great little spot to pick up a quick bite or hang out for a bit. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I'd love just a bit more quantity to make a heart breakfast meal, but overall, a great experience. We came here for lunch before our boat tour of Pictured Rocks. The food was good and service was quick. We tried the Italiano and the Tuscan Chicken sandwiches. Both were very tasty and filling. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather. This deli is connected to By George Brewery. We ordered a beer in the brewery area and brought over to deli section. It is a nice set up. There is also a refrigerated area in deli where they have take home portions of different salads etc. Overall, this was a great place to stop for a quick bite. Driftwood was a perfect stop for lunch! Inside they had a grab and go cooler filled with some sandwiches, salads, sides, and drinks. We chose to order sandwiches fresh off the menu to go. While we waited we walked around a little as there were also some small retail shelves around with really cute things for sale. Our order came out and we took our sandwiches to the park and ate. Hooray for Driftwood Deli! We make a pit stop in Munising every year on our way to Ontonagon where our camp is. We always stop for a quick bite to eat and some wifi before going completely off the grid for a week. Driftwood Deli was a delight! We called ahead and had our order ready for us when we arrived so we didn't have to wait. The sandwiches and salads are HUGE and super tasty. They even had wings (including boneless - for the kids). Nice little bar food/ sandwich shop. Two dinning areas, one bar like other family friendly seating. I think the menu was little different during the ice fest season. Lesser options than others have posted. Me being vegetarian only option was beyond Patti burger, which was good. And cauliflower wings was crispy and nice too. The staff was friendly and fast. Continuing on our road trip through Michigan, our next stop was to see the Pictured Rock National Lakeshore. We stayed a couple of nights in a yurt and had a lovely time seeing the sights. We also enjoyed lunch at the Driftwood Deli in Munising. One awesome thing about this deli is it is actually connected to the ByGeorge Brewing Co! They had an awesome patio where we were able to enjoy a couple of beers and some tasty food. My wife had the chicken bacon panini topped with garlic aioli, spinach, aroma tomato, red onion, muenster, and mozzarella cheese on a ciabatta bun ($11). This was an outstanding sandwich and it was served with some housemade flavored pretzels and dip. Our kids enjoyed the hot dog and the grilled cheese (both $7). These were nearly the same serving size as an adult sandwich, so plenty of food for the little ones. I really enjoyed the chicken Milanese grinder, with breaded chicken, fresh mozzarella, tomato basil salad, arugula, and a lemon mayo sauce ($13). The Cuban bread was very tasty and pressed on the panini maker as well. This was a wonderful stop after a busy morning of kayaking on Lake Superior. Highly recommended read more

The sandwich I had was just okay. Our other sandwich (ham) we had was not enjoyed much. And the pretzels as a side...weird. Just poured a bunch of pretzels out of a bag. Not a fan. The price was just way too much and then they ask you for a tip before making your food! $13.99 for each sandwich or more....Further taking off the rating just because of that. Price gouging for "average at best" panini sandwiches. The girl at the register seemed disinterested and didn't have answers to questions. Just waiting get us done so she could look at her phone. I will start off by saying this place was nothing but amazing after they messed up my order, they fixed it right away with no questions asked. So I ordered the pizza panini sandwich without pepperoni since I'm a vegetarian. I took a bit out of the food and it had pepperoni. The worker there as soon as I bit into my food knew right away I had the wrong order. She apologized up and down about it and I told her it was no big deal mistakes happen and I knew they were very busy. She fixed my order right away for me. I will say, I wasn't expecting the food to be so good. The panini definitely had a great simple pizza taste to it. I love the fact that they gave you home made chips with dipping sauce that was just awesome. This place for sure has became one of my to go to places while I'm up here. Arrived around 12:30 for lunch, the place was packed. If you haven't been here: it's counter service ordering, and they shout out your order number when it's ready and bring it to your table. The woman at the counter was super helpful with my order; a huge thank you to her!!! Best GF wrap I've had, and her recommendation to have it grilled was genius. So so delicious. My husband loved his chicken pesto sandwich. Very impressed with the food quality and flavors. And they are fast! Almost all of the tables changed over while we were there.
