I had a pleasant breakfast with my family this morning at Eggsquisite Cafe. We tried many combinations (Party of 5), and were pleased for the most part with all of them. I had (forgot the name) but I got a lot for the price. 2 fruit (lots of blueberries, strawberries and raspberries) topped pancakes, 2eggs scrambled soft "perfectly", 2 delicious sausage patties and 2 slices of bacon. Cowboy Omelette and Banana Nutella Pancakes Spicy Cajun Chicken and Waffle Bacon Avocado and Swiss Omelette with Fruit topped Pancakes. Eggs Benedict & toast Great service manager came by twice to ensure we were ok. The food was very tasty, especially my choices of sausage, eggs and pancakes. I would've given them a 5, but the waitstaff and the manager both practice very poor serving skills..they modeled a practice of reaching across the table to pass out stuff right across our plates and drinks...yuck, so unsanitary. I finally asked a 2nd server, who came to bring me water, to come to my side and refill my water opposed to reaching over my sister and her grand babies head. She did it with a smile, but it's sad she didn't foresee the problem. read more

Really impressed with the very berry waffle! Super fluffy and load of fresh sweet fruit! Salmak was our waitress and took great care of us. She even anticipated that my husband needed a to go coffee and offered one up instead of waiting for us to ask. We will come back !cute decor! read more

What a fantastic breakfast place! Overall we had a pleasant southern breakfast experience. The fresh squeezed orange juice was radioactive, glowing as bright as the sun! Really as good as good fresh-squeezed Florida juice, and very close in quality to coastal offerings in Spain. The waffles and chicken fried steak were pretty close to perfect, at least coming from a southerner. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the chicken and waffles dish. The waffles were darned good, and so was the chicken. Unfortunately it was just a plain chicken breast rather than a bone in offering. This made the chicken miss just a smidge of that deep flavor one gets when cooking bone-in. Still tasty and worth ordering, but not quite perfect. read more

First time trying breakfast here with my husband and we came right at opening. Our server Vanessa had a little pop with it just being her as the opener and the service was great. She was very attentive and made sure my allergy restrictions were met which is so hard at breakfast places normally. It was quiet in there and the food came out quickly. Decided to try this restaurant after reading online reviews and since we needed to be in Southlake for Apple store appt we thought to check it out. Believe the hype..... it IS that good. This place is like a well oiled restaurant machine. Plenty of servers and runners for the amount of clientele. Nobody was just standing around. Food was coming out like a I Love Lucy show candy production belt!! They were super busy however because they have their stuff sooooo together nothing took too long. From being seated, to being waited on to being served to check out. Everything was so great that I can't wait to get back over to Southlake again. read more

I feel like there must have been a change in ownership. The service is less personalized. The former owner/manager Raymond used to welcome us by name. We would ask for specific changes (for example we prefer our eggs not be cooked with butter) and they were accommodating. Now they're unwilling or can't figure out how to cook eggs without butter. Servers are busy and as such the experience seems rushed and less friendly than it was in the past. I hope they are able to rediscover the magic they had under the old owners when my wife and I would go once or twice a week. read more

Javier (bf) said pick a place I'll take you to brunch today since you worked so hard on Christmas this week & you were off work on vacation. We ended up here. What drew me to this place were the pics of the avocado toast. We showed up around 2 because I slept way in, so we were seated immediately, not sure if that's normal for a Sunday but we were excited about that. Javier & I both had coffee & his daughter had fresh squeezed OJ. The coffee was strong so I had to add a lot of 1/2 & 1/2 & sugar, made it perfect for me! As far as food I ordered the banana Nutella crepes combo & I subbed out the eggs for avocado toast. Delicious! I took 1 bight of the bacon (because I was so full) & gave the rest to Javier & his daughter. Javier ordered the Cowboy omelette w/French toast & pancakes ( he brought the pancakes home to eat for breakfast) LOL he said everything was good. I'll have to trust him because I won't eat eggs like that. X- (his daughter) ordered the bacado omelette w/hash browns & French toast. She also said hers was very tasty. Our waitress was very kind & patient considering I spilled my coffee, she helped clean up. The X spilled water. We were making a mess. Came here for breakfast because it's next door to Costco . When you walk in you get that diner feel Annie was our waitress and she was very professional. Ask for her she'll take good care of you. She will take care of you. I got the chicken fried steak and it is thick,plenty of meat to bread ratio. Tasty. Hash browns cooked perfectly nice and crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. I tried the sausage gravy and it is the real deal. My wife got the crab cake Benedict. She thought it was tasty and worth getting again. This is a great place to eat breakfast right before Costco open I will be back hopefully my waitress will be there too. read more

This place, like its other locations is the quintessential American Diner. The service is always great. The food quality is excellent. The menu is quite diverse with offerings to fit most palates. The prices are reasonable. Plenty of comfortable booths and tables. They use bright colors and always have plenty of light. You will find the place quite busy on Sundays after church. This is my Tour d'Eggsquisite stop #5 at Southlake, Texas. Now I need to dine at the Midlothian location, southwest of Dallas to complete my tour of all 6! Pro Tip: Mansfield, TX is next, with a 100% brand-new Eggsquisite being built. Southlake, in the big shopping district along Southlake Drive, is a nice location, it actually looks new, but this shopping center has the oldest buildings around here. Plenty of mature trees, you might get some shade when you park. Hostess here is golden, very helpful, and she stays on top of all activities, while giving younger staff some positive insights. Nobody should struggle trying to learn a system, a good coach builds confidence. I was up all night trying to sneak up on spot where marsh birds feed. Did not get many pics. Instead of going home, I decided to be positive, and drive over to Eggsiquite Cafe! It was busy, but a bunch of customers were leaving. The warm & welcoming hostess assisted me with finding a power outlet, much thanks because my phone was drained to zero. By now, I know the menu here, and I give thanks for these blessings. Time to eat, and take photos! 1. The "Chicken Apple Pecan" gourmet salad has Arugula as base, with bits of Feta cheese, chunks of green Granny Smith apples, dried cranberries, raisins, and rather large chunks of grilled chicken breast, cold or room temperature. This comes with house vinaigrette on the side. This is a raspberry that is very zesty, fruity, and tangy. Put it on in thin streaks, or it will make your tastebuds pucker up! I added the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries, my addiction, plus then the photos are stunning with them. Your results may differ. Notes: Arugula has a tough time carrying a whole salad by itself. It takes sharp eyes to clean arugula. The grilled chicken is not savory, nor juicy. Skinless is healthier, but without chicken fat it becomes a duck. Here it comes, duck! This is a good salad that can be tuned-up to fantastic. 2. Very Berry Crepes Watch the moisture content in the crepes, they can turn into cardboard on the way to the table if cooked too dry. Burnt edges is the clue. Overall, a good dish. The blackberries and blueberries for the shift can be kept ready in ice water, and they look better stacked on top of the red fruits. Came here for brunch this morning. This place was packed with a line queued up outside. Would definitely recommend a reservation for their busy breakfast and brunch hours. The food was good, and it came out quickly. I loved the crispy hash browns and the cheesy meat lovers omelette. Wasn't a huge fan of the grits--they were a bit too sweet for me. We sat behind the hostess stand and a bench seat table combo. I really hate these chairs as I feel you put your butt in your neighbors face as you try to demurely slide in.
