Another egg-cellent breakfast cafe in the DFW area. I'm a fan of biscuits & gravy, so I always try something different when I visit new places. They were busy on a Sunday morning, but we were seated immediately as we only had 2 in our party, and the service kept up quite nicely as they seated the larger tables. I had the chicken biscuit Benedict, and it was exactly how I wanted it. Biscuit was soft but had a good baked texture, the chicken was crispy but moist, and the gravy wasn't overly salty or floured. With the chives and chopped bacon on top, I didn't really even notice the perfectly poached egg until I cut into this massive, delicious breakfast. The tomatoes were very ripe and fresh, and they rounded out the dish nicely. I would definitely return next time I'm in Southlake. read more

Came here twice in one week! I'm not in southlake a lot but after shopping we were craving some good brunch. I yelped this place and noticed it was new. of course i was a little skeptical because I like going to places with a lot of reviews and a lot of photos to judge off of. But don't be like me def come give this place a shot! All the dishes I got the two times I came were so delicious and the others that were with me agreed. We all loved the customer service and how clean and fresh the food was. I first got the veggie skillet with chorizo added and had my eggs scrambled on top. It was perfect with pancakes on the side. Second time I got the veggie omelette and added chorizo. (do you notice a pattern lol) it was so big! i couldn't finish it all so i had to take it home i love how crispy they cook the hashbrowns. All the staff were so nice and did a great job and coming by to refill coffee and just to check up on us. Its definitely very aesthetic with the modern diner feel. I love how they have two walls that are all windows making the place very bright. I believe they have other locations around the Dallas area so if you're near one, definitely check them out! My husband and I love brunch so we were excited to try this place. We went with a few friends so we were those people with a big a group. Our friends were nice and waited for the table for us while we got ready with our little one. By the time we got there they had just sat down. I believe they waited for about 30-45min before they got a table. (It was a Sunday when we went and it was 8 of us.) Waiter was very nice. Noticed my husband and I sat down after everyone else and got our drink orders. By the time he came back with our drinks, everyone was ready to order. Food came out in a timely manner. No issues from anyone. I got the eggs Benedict. My husband got French toast. I got a kids French toast as well for our little one. I really liked the portion size of the kids plate. It was 2 small circle sized French toast compared to the 3 big pieces the adult size comes with. I tasted them too and they were quite good. My eggs Benedict came with hash browns and they were a good amount of crispness which I enjoyed. The Benedict was flavorful and delicious. Egg was spot on, on the yolk. Friends didn't complain about their meal. As a matter of fact most of them finished their plate. Overall it was delicious and we would go back again. read more

My husband and I visited this restaurant in August and we had such a great dining experience. The food was delicious. The omelets were tasty. The pumpkin pancake was one of the best I've had. And, my husband's cinnamon roll pancake was very good as well. We would absolutely visit again while in Texas! Also, our waitress recommended the yellow bird hot sauce, which is from a local business and we ended up loving it so much that we purchased it online when we got back home. Everything here is wonderful! The atmosphere is a friendly neighborhood vibe quite charming. The service was fast and friendly. I just had breakfast here. Waitstaff were really great. My comment would be with people commenting about the cost things you pay 1.50 extra for fresh berries. They come in a bowl that is barely 2 inch round not filled, with berries that have been sitting out for a while and a stack of pancakes that were at no extra cost. Today was brunch day with the hubs and kid, so we decided to give Eggsquisite a try. Being a Sunday it was fairly busy as to be expected, but we got seat quickly, like as soon as my husband walked in the door the lady tried to sit him before we had all made it inside. Our waiter was there very quickly and he was very polite. He took our drink order an by the time he got back we were ready to order. I ordered a basic waffle (you can tell a lot by a waffle or French toast) my husband ordered chorizo Benedict, the kid he chose the cowboy omelette. We got our food pretty quickly my waffle was cold on top and was soggy on the bottom and wasn't fully cooked. My husbands Benedict the English muffins were huge and burnt his hollandaise sauce was broke which wasn't that big of a deal to him. Our waiter had come right when we got our food and then he finally showed up after 20 mins and then I could finally ask for another fresh waffle. Luckily 2 time around was much better then the first it was crispy on both sides and not gummy on the inside, they definitely don't have nice fluffy airy waffles. This definitely will not be a top place I will be rushing back to eat that's for sure. read more

Food was great, service was good, but my girlfriend ordered a gluten free side pancake, and it wasn't until we got our receipt that we saw that it was a normal full extra glutenous pancake. Be wary coming here if you can't eat gluten. read more

TLDR; Overhyped My wife and I decided to come try this place after it being mentioned many times. We love food and keep our minds open as possible. We joined the waitlist, not too bad, luckily for us it was a 10-20 minute wait despite the timeframe we arrived. We sat down, it took about 20 minutes for someone to notice us but it was hella busy. We finally got waters and our drinks. I ordered the steak skillet with an extra egg and plain pancakes on the side My wife ordered the biscuits and gravy omelet and very berry pancakes ( don't remember exact name of toppings) At first glance, yes everything looks delicious and to par. It's when you dive in that you realize looks can be deceiving. For me, my steak was indeed cooked to my request, medium rare, by my goodness was it stale and no flavor. I hate A1 sauce but I almost gave in to having to use it. Instead I drenched my meal in Tabasco. The eggs and rest of the skillet were fine. Nothing special. Eggs were a bit rubbery. Back to the steak. I probably had more fat and gristle on it than I've seen at any other place. Each bite I had to trim fat off. My pancakes tasted directly from a bisquik mix. Bland and I had to drown them in syrup to mask the taste. Onto my wife's meal. While we thought the concept of cramming biscuits and gravy into an omelet was unique, it was far from it. The gravy tasted powdery and the biscuit was dry inside. Egg was also a bit runny. Overall eh.. Her pancakes. Same consistency as mine but here's the kicker: the toppings... We were not sure what medicine they used to pour onto the pancakes but it tasted like robitussin cough medicine. The berrys were fine but with that cough syrup poured all over it, it was hard to separate from good to bad Overall this restaurant has a strong local support. I applaud that, but let's face it, there are better options than this. read more

This place has it all figured out. Went for Sunday brunch at 12:30. Very crowded. The yelp waitlist meant we only waited ~15 min after arriving, as predicted. All the food was excellent. We got two omelettes, eggs Benedict and fried eggs. The sweet potato fries are probably the best I've ever had. Try them. Service was on point. Be sure to get in line on yelp when your in route, this will put you on wait list/save your place....I recommend for the weekends, it can be crowded, but the line moves fast and tables turn quick. I ordered chicken and waffles and the Mickey Mouse pancake and bacon. The chicken was beaten extremely flat with spicy seasoning thrown on top and the waffle was so old, crusty and dry as a desert!
