    Atmosphere great!

Atmosphere clean and nice! Great welcoming restaurant! Good Food! my husband and I get each a plate and then we share it so we can taste both of it. He got sweet tea which he thinks it's great and I got third coffee, which I'm a coffee snob and I loved it.

I really enjoyed breakfast at Oak St Cafe. We came in with a large party and were initially told that it would be a longer wait time, but they were able to accommodate our group quickly! We all tried so many different menu options and they all turned out great! This location is spacious, clean and has both indoor and outdoor seating. I will definitely be back to try more of what they have to offer on their delicious menu!

First time trying this place and had a wonderful experience. Went for a family breakfast and enjoy ourselves. The people were amazing. Loved hearing about the family run business and what all they do for the community. Felt like we really got to know the people and they took good care of us. Nice and clean restaurant. The food was incredible. The berry crepes were so yummy!

Found this cute cafe when I was in the area visiting a friend. It was very busy and there seemed to be a different server for every table almost. A man who may have been the owner went around to each table and ensured they were being taken care of. I ordered the garden skillet. I expected it to come out "sizzling" as most skillets do, but this one did not. In fact, the cheese wasnt even really melted and the ingredients were different temperatures as if they had all been cooked separately. I did mention this to my server and she asked if I wanted them to remake it but I chose not to. It was edible and I didn't want to wait longer. There were quite a few "regulars" who got VIP treatment from all the staff it seemed. Overall I enjoyed my time, would recommend this place to anyone looking for a yummy breakfast!

Lonestar omelet. It has sausage, ham, bacon and cheese and big enough to share.

We stopped in craving a classic, old fashioned diner breakfast, and this place did not disappoint. What a gem! The cafe is cozy and inviting, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. Our waitress was wonderful, and the food arrived impressively fast. Everything was absolutely delicious, with fair prices and wonderfully generous portions. You can easily share a meal or enjoy leftovers later. The biscuits were incredible, and the sausage gravy was truly top notch. The menu offers so many great options that I'm already excited to come back and try more. They also serve brunch and lunch, which gives me even more reason to return.

Had a fantastic brunch here midweek. While I made a reservation, it was pretty quiet around 12:30 p.m. so we were seated immediately and the server came right over to check on us and take our drink orders. She was always timely checking on us throughout our meal and was very friendly. We also ran a few items by her to see what her opinion was. She was honest and helped us to make our ultimate decisions which we are very happy with. I opted for the chicken fried chicken breakfast meal and left feeling satisfied with both the quality and the quantity I got. Portions are more than generous here and I was not able to finish my meal. The chicken was fried well and was juicy. I asked for soft scrambled eggs and crispy hash browns and they delivered on both of those requests as well. All in all we had a very enjoyable meal here and would definitely come back to try out some of the other items on the robust menu.

Great place. Great service. Great food. Very roomy inside. I liked how their country Benedict wasn't dry. Most biscuits I've tried are dry. I recommend giving this place a try. The waitress was very accommodating for our toddler.

Fast service and delicious food. Love the old farm house/white decor. Staffs friendly. You can make reservations. However Sunday brunch wait time wasn't too bad. We got the table in 15mins. Will definitely be going back

So far I have tried the Sampler and the Coconut Almond French Toast! Everything is so good here. The service is always quick and friendly! The ambiance is bright and clean! Stop by and try one of their biscuits!

My dad got the cowboy without a pancake, which he also described as being good. Despite the large size of the group and the amount of food ordered it arrived swiftly bringing joy to the whole group. Our server was very polite, friendly, and social. Almost no mistakes were made in the order except them forgetting to bring the gravy to the table for someone's dish. The environment of the restaurant was very traditional western inspired with a 3d wooden sign of the restaurant's logo on the wall as well as the word howdy spelt and made with horse shoes being hung above the kitchen door. I would definitely recommend this location and will be coming back.

There were several open tables but it seems they take reservations or were allowing people to call-in to get on the list. We only ended up waiting 8 minutes which allowed us time to review the menu and decide what we wanted. Big wooden tables with comfortable wide chairs. Looked like a table sturdy enough for a bunch of Cowboys with chicken fried steak plates. Lol. They have a couple iced coffee drink specials. They even had a sign on the table for a special Valentines Dinner they're opening that evening for reservations only - $45/person. A few tables were getting a cinnamon roll to share as a starter. Looked yummy! We got HONEY BUTTER BISCUIT W/BREAKFAST POTATOES (8.99). Sooooooo good! Warm honey - we ordered our honey on the side instead of poured all over. 5/5 CHICKEN BISCUIT DELUXE (14.99) 5/5 One biscuit with cream gravy topped with fried chicken sprinkled with a little cheddar cheese topped with 2 eggs (your way) served with 2 strips bacon. It was really good and filling. Had nearly half leftover. Could have taken a nap after eating. Decaf coffee kept me warm on a cold morning. I want to go back to try their cinnamon roll, famous chicken fried steak, & other delicious sounding menu items! They had a tv scrolling pictures of their food which looked really good. Some parking spots in small private lot but plenty public parking right across the street. Friendly staff!

Today I finally ate off the lunch menu and was not disappointed! I got the California Wrap ($12) which is massive! Should have split it. Burrito sized tortilla stuffed with grilled chicken, avocado, lettuce tomato & bacon (I asked for no mayo). Portion of fries was huge and they were good. Crunchy on outside, soft in middle. My Mom got the Turkey Bacon Club & Fries which was also massive!! We brought more than half our meal home. Will share next time. My only two wishes for improvements (and reason for removing 1 star) - need a homemade ranch & decaf coffee. If can't do homemade ranch, switch to a better one than what's currently being used. Love this family owned small business! You will not be disappointed if you want good casual food for a good price! I like the booths by the windows, allowed us to see outside during our meal. The breakfast menu has LOTS of options, so it may take you a minute to find what you want. I picked the 4x2 which comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and 2 pancakes. I asked if I could opt for a waffle instead and the waitress said I could but there would be a unchanged for it...she thought $2-3...no problem. As she delivered our food, she advised the charge is actually $5. I'm expecting a good waffle for the price increase....and I was completely disappointed when she brings out what looks like a thin, non-belgium waffle (even though the menu said it was a belgium waffle...) you'd get from another place that serves waffles and has waffle in its name and gets a bad rep for attracting some wild characters. Not knocking that other place, I like their food and you know what you are getting. I digress...but my mention of that "other place" can be tied back to this place in that the food quality is about the same, except here my meal (2 plates) cost $40 and would have been about $20 at the other place. For what its worth, my eggs were cold and the bacon was waaaaay overdone. Not crispy, rather it was burned by grease and old bacon scraps. With the number of breakfast places in the Keller/Alliance area (including that other place..lol), I think I'll pass on this spot. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either.
