Christine was our server this morning and she is amazing! She serves the best iced lattes. Food was so good. We can't wait to come back!

My husband and I went there for the first time today and absolutely loved it! We would give our dining experience their a five 5 on a scale of one to five. He had the biscuits and gravy omelette with the cinnamon roll pancake. Sounds fattening doesn't it, and it was, but sometimes you just take the plunge! He loved his cinnamon roll pancake and said there was actually caramelization to the sugar and he really enjoyed it. He would also give that a five 5. He was not as crazy about his biscuits and gravy omelette, but he said it was well executed just not to his taste. I think he thought it was going to be a little more cheesy, but he would still give it a four 4. I had the Eggsquisite which is chicken apples sausage, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, and spinach on hashbrowns covered with Monterey cheddar cheese and two eggs. I would give it a five 5 on portion size, I couldn't even finish it all and a five 5 on presentation. I think I wasn't that crazy about the combo, but it was still good and I would clearly give it a solid four 4. I LOVED my "Very Berry Crepes" and would give them a top-notch score as well. On a scale of one to five, I told the waitress I would give them a 10. They were absolutely delicious and I would definitely order them again. I can't even really describe how good they tasted to me, they were just wonderful. And ... I loved their fresh squeezed orange juice! One drink and I could tell the difference between that and the last orange juice I had, it was so good! Our waitress, Heather, was not only good, but she was funny also. BEST BRUNCH IN TEXAS! We are from south Texas and visiting family. We have eaten here every day for brunch. The service/staff and atmosphere is WONDERFUL! But the food is AMAZING! We tried a variety of things over the last few days, and everything is heavenly! Highly recommend the cinnamon roll pancakes, chicken carnitas skillet, spicy chicken and waffles, spicy chicken biscuits and gravy, and the benedicts (Salmon and chorizo). Prices are great and fair for the portion size! We honestly couldn't find one flaw with this restaurant, and my step mom is as picky as they come! Haha. Food was very good as well as the service. I had the Eggsquisite Skillet with chicken sausage and a variety of vegetables that I enjoyed very much. Atmosphere was good at lunchtime and was able to get in and out efficiently. It cost me a little more than I would normally spend at lunch with the gratuity (about $21) read more

I really want to give this place 2.5 stars. It wasn't the best, it wasn't the worst. Just very middle of the road. I think most of the reviews over sell it. My food was fine, I had the eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked well, English muffin wasn't toasted, hollandaise didn't have much taste, coffee tasted like it had been sitting on the burner too long. The service is extremely speedy, we had our food in what felt like no time. I wouldn't pick to go here again, but if someone really wanted to go I wouldn't protest much. read more

I really enjoyed the corned beef hash breakfast! Finally!!!! I picked hash browns, yummm, and pancakes as my sides. The pancakes were a little thick and chewy for me so I'll try another side next time. My daughter tried the avocado toast which was huge and tasty. She also tried the very berry crepe. It had plenty of fresh, ripe berries but the crepe was too egg tasting for us. I look forward to our next visit! Great, clean, friendly and plenty of parking. read more

Just tried this place. Wow! So happy that Shermsn FINALLY has a great place for breakfast/lunch/brunch. The food is wonderful ( chicken fried chicken is THE BOMB) the staff is friendly and attentive. What a surprise! One thing we rarely see in Texoma is a really busy, crowded restaurant which also has plenty of competent help. I had a Reuben sandwich w fries. It was as good as any I've had in a restaurant. My friend had the chicken fried chicken w mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra. She raved about it. The service was great. I suspect servers were brought in from other stores bc they all knew what they were doing. Also it's clean, bright and inviting. We've needed this for awhile. read more

We went the other day for brunch and had an average experience. The restaurant itself is lovely; ambiance is fresh and bright and they played nice music at the perfect volume. The menu had a good choice of healthier options, but our food was ok, probably a 3.5 out of 5 in my opinion. I had the Eggsquisite Skillet with grits and subbed the hash browns for the O'Brian potatoes which was a $1.50 upcharge. We also ordered the Migas and corn and flour tortillas. The skillet was alright, but the potatoes lacked flavor and the peppers and onions mixed in were still crunchy. The grits were good, but had some big lumps in them, which made me think they were probably left over from that morning. The Migas were alright, but this isn't a Mexican food restaurant so I won't fault them too much for that. The salsas and hot sauce options were really nice and complimented our meal. In regards to service, that was our biggest concern. Our server was friendly and when we ordered she told me that switching out the potatoes on my skillet would be an extra charge. I appreciated her telling me and it was stated on the menu that it was an up charge. My guest asked if he could switch the potatoes on his Migas and she told him that his switch was actually complimentary because of the category of his meal. The menu stated you could either order flour or corn tortillas with the Migas and he asked for a combination, which she said would be no problem. When our tickets arrived my guest noticed he had two separate up charges, one for his potatoes and another for toast (which he didn't even order). When we mentioned this to our server she agreed it was a mistake, took the ticket and said she would fix it. She then came back and explained the toast was because he asked for both flour and corn tortillas (he asked for a combo, not a double order) and the manager agreed to remove that charge, but they were unwilling to fix the charge for the potatoes and the server even agreed it was her mistake and she misspoke about the menu. This is just a simple principal issue in my opinion. The server went out of her way to tell him it was a complimentary change on his order, agreed she made a mistake and told him the wrong thing and still said the manager refused to fix the mistake. It's confusing to me how an establishment can admit fault to a mistake and refuse to fix it. We have never ran into this problem anywhere before and just seemed incredibly unprofessional. This is a brand new restaurant to our area, who even requests yelp and google reviews and this was not the correct way to handle a mistake with a new customer. It really doesn't matter how nice the ambiance is, we didn't appreciate being treated this way and I doubt we will be back anytime soon. read more
