Good amount of food for cost. Ordered the grand breakfast and it was very yummy esp for fast food and after a long 12 hr shift. Drive-through was quick enough and food was still warm by the time I got home. It was a shame the only other pic up here was a pic of a burned togo plate so I'll add another one. Actually ordered from here through GrubHub which now delivers across the river to Oklahoma and the food was very good and still hot even delivered from 20 miles away. My only complaint would be the gravy from my potatoes and CFS was all over my Mac and cheese and stuff. I'd suggest putting the gravy in separate containers instead of on the food when being delivered. But the food was great and reasonably priced read more

The food is always good. Their yeast rolls are the best!!! The building is run down, but it's been there 50 years. It's always clean. We live 40 miles away, but it's worth the drive. BUT what happened to my sinnamon roll??? Few pecans & 2 raisins??? They used to be packed with raisins & nut!!! This is the first time I've ever had roll without raisins & nuts!!! At Grandys at 7:57 no baked beans then no macaroni. Really disappointed. Come here for years . So me and my son are not getting our favorite side of baked beans? I would think they could cook extra . I did ask and they didn't have time for baked beans or macaroni. read more

The food was decent for fast food. Grilled chicken sandwich passable for keto if you toss bun. Chicken fried steak pretty salty. But ok. Order at counter counter. You do have to go to other room to get cutlery and napkins, etc. And order taker kinda rude. Overall ok i guess. Nothing special. read more

I ate the buffet for breakfast, the food tasted ok however, I had bad gastrointestinal problems the next day and into the week. I thought it was just something going around, but I gave them a second chance months later. I had pot roast meal the taste was good everything good until the next day. Yes you guessed it 101 temperature and gastrointestinal distress. This earns this place a Bane jaw buster!!!! (WARNING EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK ) Plano has a breakfast buffet and I have never had any problems. I hope I was the last victim of this place and I took the hit for you. I went and told the guy that the food was cold, he told me that he would cook fresh okra and waited 30to 45 minutes and never recieved it.i called the manager and he was very rude. The customer service, in the drive thru, was horrible. The kid at the window sounded as if he had rather be getting a root canal than taking my order. Literally said, " What do you want?". Proceeded to the window and he opened it and just held out his hand. Didn't say hi... Your total is... Nothing. When he handed my food out to me he just shoved it into my car and closed the window. I was standing at the register while the girl kept telling me she was sorry and to hold on. She kept talking g to someone about her day off. Three times she asked me what I would like, but as I started to place my order she told me to hang on and she would continue her conversation. While in line 2 other customers came up to complain about cold food. I like Grandy's food but our service the past few visits may prevent us from coming back much. read more

I visited this Grandy's and there were many issues. The person who checked us out, had very dirty hands, and clothes were dirty...the food did not taste well at all, watered down mashed potatoes, with gravy that seemed to have been watered down too....the steak tasted bad and spoiled as well. My wife went to the women's restroom, there were huge plumbing problems as there was raw sewage in one of the toilets, and the smell was horrible....there were 2 commodes in this one restroom, the raw sewage one was merely covered with a piece of plastic....not a good thing, and this should have been quickly addressed, especially in a place where you serve food!! There were also plumbing issues under the sink where you wash your hands, as it was leaking and dripping. Was very disappointed in this place, as I have lived here for over 45 years...we will not be back here, ever. read more

My son and I went to Grandy's for lunch today. We always have a great experience there everyone is so kind, until today. We ordered our food and went and waited for them to bring it out. We noticed several people that came in after us were getting their food. I went to ask where our food was. The guy at the register couldn't find out ticket and had to print an other one from the register. The "manager" walked up and started making excuses. First he said "Grandy's isn't fast food, we make it fresh when you get here." I said, " don't give me that crap as I pointed to the chicken under the heat lamps. We ordered chicken strips and the said it takes 10 to 12 mins to cook chicken strips. I work at a restaurant and I know it takes 4-5 mins. I ask for the manager and they said you can call tomorrow and talk to her but she won't care. I love Grandy's and I hate that I won't go back, but I won't be treated badly. read more
