Always a fun place to come to. Good food, excellent steaks in Texas. You normally get the kebab and a Caesar salad split

~ 11-07-21~Sherman, Texas We dined here Sunday evening and our waiter "Zak" was top notch. It was busy and he never missed a beat. He had numerous tables and kept up the momentum. Our steaks were delicious, as well as our sides. We've always had great food and service every time we've been to this location. Thank you Texas Roadhouse and Zac for a memorable evening with family. #GraysonCounty

I was in Sherman on business and wanted to grab diner before heading back to Dallas. This Texas Road House is like all the other Consistent quality Well prepared Good Prices Friendly service. They rate a strong 4 stars for an everyday delicious steak dinner. I've never had anything but good food at these restaurants. Definite go if your in Sherman Texas

This a medium well steak by TX Roadhouse standards.

This was supposed to be medium well. There wasn't a bit of pink anywhere in the steak. Cook only prepares orders to what is convenient to them. I don't send meals back because I don't trust what cooks may do when a customer complains. I received NO discount. I had to pay FULL price even though I boxed it up to give to my dog. I'll visit another steakhouse next time I'm in the mood for a steak. We were sat in the middle of a child care center. I'm a combat vet and Memorial Day actually means something to me. Couldn't reflect while toddlers were screaming & crying on every corner of my table. I got to pay $135 for three people to eat though. You screw me over again.

Too crowded. Steaks are terrific but too salty and over-seasoned. Still and if you can wait 1.5 hours, a decent meal.

We were dressed casually, as people often are on vacation, but the staff made us feel completely welcome from the moment we arrived. We seated at a lovely window table overlooking downtown Denison. We started with a shrimp cocktail, big plump, juicy shrimp served with cocktail sauce and a generous swirl of fresh horseradish. It was a wonderful way to start the meal. My dining companion ordered the pot roast with heirloom carrots. Pot roast isn't usually my favorite dish, but let me tell you, this was no ordinary pot roast. The beef was fork-tender, covered in a rich decadent gravy that I won't forget. I had a hard time choosing an entrée because everything sounded so good, but I settled on the ribeye with twice baked potato, and we shared a side of mushrooms. My steak was absolutely incredible, perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor and so generously portioned that I took half home and happily enjoyed it for lunch the next day. What really made the evening special was the hospitality. The staff chatted with us about the history of the building, their favorite items, the town itself. They genuinely made us feel like welcome guests. After dinner, we wandered to the back lounge area, where there's a beautiful full-size bar, plenty of comfortable seating, and live music. We relaxed with after-dinner drinks before heading back to the resort. From the outstanding food to the great service and inviting atmosphere, every part of the evening was exceptional. I highly recommend 34 Chop House and will gladly return the next time where I'm in the area.

Perfectly crisp on the outside, packed with real crab, not filler, and the texture was spot on. And the sauce? Incredible. It tied everything together in a way that made each bite better than the last. We also ordered the wagyu meatballs, and they did not disappoint. Rich, flavorful, and cooked just right, definitely not your average appetizer. And do not skip the house made bread. It is an absolute must. Soft and fluffy on the inside with the perfect crunch on the crust. Served with both cinnamon butter and regular butter, and honestly, both were so good it was hard to pick a favorite. For entrées, I had the pot roast, yum. It was served over garlic mashed potatoes with roasted carrots and was pure comfort food done right. My husband and daughter both ordered the ribeye, and they were flavorful and cooked to perfection. My son in law had the double bone pork chop, and every single one of us loved every bite of our meals. One thing to note, there is quite a bit of construction in the area right now. We had to circle the block once, and the designated parking behind the building was full, but we were able to grab a spot out front without too much trouble. And then came dessert. We shared several for the table, and every single one was a hit. The pecan praline cheesecake, do yourself a favor and add the caramel praline sauce, colossal carrot cake, crème brûlée, and bread pudding with a crème anglaise on top were absolutely delicious across the board. Easy 5 stars. We will absolutely be back.

Chicken Fried Steak with French fries and a side salad was exceptional. One anomaly is they don't have mashed potatoes!!! Weird They do offer a baked potato. Our waitress was so caring, knowledgeable, and talented. The atmosphere and vibe is everything you could hope for in a restaurant like this. One guy next to us eats here several times a week. I visited on a Saturday evening for an early dinner with my parents and sister. (Side note for Dallas residents: If you're familiar with the Katy Trail, it's worth the drive to see where it all began. When the Katy railroad tracks were removed in Dallas, the trail was born. While Denison doesn't have a trail today, the original depot remains, and it's a lovely place to explore.) The atmosphere at Stafford House is calm and refined, with deep burgundy tones, and brown leather accents lending it a warm, intimate feel. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. We started with the steak carpaccio appetizer, which was savory and full of flavor. For dinner, the ladies each had the Airline chicken with mushroom risotto, while my father and I ordered the lamb T-bones. I swapped the vegetable medley for sweet potato grits, which were decent but lacked any noticeable sweet potato flavor. Definitely put Stafford House on your must-visit list. I was the only Hispanic person at the bar, and the bartender, Kayla, treated me noticeably differently than the white guests around us. She was cold, dismissive, and barely acknowledged me, while offering warm, friendly service to others. A friend of mine, who is also Hispanic, received the same dismissive treatment. In contrast, our white friends were served with smiles, conversation, and full attention. The difference in service felt too obvious to ignore--and it felt racially motivated. What's even more concerning is that after sharing my experience with a few of Kayla's coworkers, they admitted this isn't the first time she's provided less-than-stellar service. That kind of behavior, especially when it appears to follow a pattern, shouldn't be tolerated in any professional environment. I truly hope the management at Rendezvous takes this seriously.
