Had lunch at Chilis today and it was great. The food tasted so good. I had the 3 for 10.99 meal and it came with a drink, a burger, and fries, plus chips and salsa. The portions were large. I could only eat half of the burger and maybe one or two fries. And some chips and salsa. Had enough left over for dinner tonight and then some. The server was so sweet as was all of the staff. And the restaurant was just nice and relaxing with my husbands favorite sports on the TVs. It was a great experience. And I will be back! read more

Ambiance is cool and I love the paisley type print on the walls, tables and building. It's really different and gives this Chili's a unique look. The welcome sign on the entrance is wonderful. The hostess needs work. She should be a better greeter to the guest. She wasn't very friendly or welcoming. Most people came in and stood there before she actually acknowledged them. Please teach her some customer service skills. The waitress/bartender was great. She was very friendly and welcoming. Thank goodness for her she saved the day. She made me an amazing cocktail. The Popping Boba Margarita was delicious. The ingredients were fun and tasty. The food fell short for me on this visit. Let me start with the good. The fries were hot and well seasoned. The elotes bowl was pretty flavorful. Now here's the BAD...The ribs were AWFUL. They were dry and had no flavor or seasoning. They didn't taste good at all. They were so bad I don't think they were fit for a dog to eat. The manager came to the table and I appreciate he removed them from my bill. I hate sending back food, but sometimes it is necessary. Continue to be disappointed with this location. I've had awful experiences in the past, but they were primarily 10+ years ago, because it's just not a place we frequent. Don't go back much, and we've hoped it's been improved. It has not. Ordered a surf and turf dish as part of our overall order, my wife picked it up, and we realized the "surf" part was missing. Called the restaurant, and was told they were too busy to deal with it, but a manager would call us back. It's an hour later, and no one has reached out. Just incredibly disappointing. If you're going to rob us, at least have the decency to use a weapon to make it more abundantly clear what your goal is going into the situation. read more

I usually like to go elsewhere, but the Roadhouse was too busy. This time we got fajitas trio. We brought our own silverware & really enjoyed the meal. Our waitress was young but she was attentive. We also got the molten chocolate cake with ice cream, it was the cherry on top. My sweetie was wearing a different presence & it was like being on a date. If I get lucky, I'll change it to 5 stars! Speedy service, cold drinks, and great AC on a hot day! My wife had to send her well done steak back because it had a tad pink inside (I know well done steak should be a crime BUT she is with child so it's a needed sacrifice for now). We kinda of enjoy this place but today was a little different. Started ordering bottomless chips and the chips are always broken and many are soaked in grease. My burger and fries were ok except the bun was old and falling apart. I hate stale bread!! My wife's quesadillas were boarder line gross again soaked in grease. While traveling back home from visiting my grand children we stopped in to this Chilis for some lunch. We were met with friendly staff and upbeat atmosphere. Cheap meals for the kiddos. Love their drinks and chips and salsa. They have a two combo for a couple it's worth trying.

We have given this restaurant several chances after the state has open to 100 percent capacity. The inside floor is dirty as in needed to be mopped. In the window ledges were several different types of dead bugs. The back of the chairs were sticky and dingy. The wait staff and Hostess had clothes on that were disheveled. Shirts oversized and not tucked in. The food was horrible. My burger was over cooked and the shredded lettuce was brown and wilted. The only thing worth a damn was the Texas cheese fries at the beginning. I suggest finding another place to eat in the area no matter what the wait is. read more

Had lunch today with my grandson at the Chili's in Sherman, TX. I d not recommend. Just walking in I was concerned with the sidewalk and entrance very dirty, even nasty. The front door looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. When seated I looked up and the ac vents covered with mold and dirt, the walls around the floor were dirty. The food took for ever to come out, at least 40 mins. The burger was not as ordered and the salad was terrible. The lettuce wins wilted and the quesadilla that went with it was like it had been setting on a paper plate in a dorm room for days....the only plus was the waitress was good. read more

Been to this chili's a couple of times because it's the closest one to where I live. Each time it's like the service gets worse. Went there last night and sat at the bar area. We sat for 15 minutes without anyone approaching us. We did have eye contact with a server but that was about it. The bartender who looked like bear from the Alaskan Bush People spent the entire time on his touch screen. I looked around the entire bar area and everyone's drinks were empty (that should have been my red flag to leave right then and there). There were empty glasses at empty tables. Then an older gentlemen walked up to the bar and asked if the bartender was his server and where his drinks were because he and his wife had been waiting a long time. The bartender was rude and said "they are coming. I PROMISE". His tone and attitude when he said that is why I got up and left. And then we went right next door to Texas Roadhouse where we were seated immediately and served. There are some good chili's but this isn't one. I will not be back to this specific location, and I'm willingly to bet I'm not the only one from last night saying that. read more

This go round, we waited about 10 minutes for our waitress to show up and take drink orders. However, when she did, she brought complementary chips and salsa for our trouble - which really wasn't that much trouble at all. Glasses are kept filled and they're always checking on you to make sure things are good. The Margarita Grilled Chicken is always a great choice if you're watching what you eat! p.s. My experience today at Chili's in Sherman, Tx is a prime example of why minimum wage should NOT be raised. I ordered in take-out and the food was still good but...no one was ready to acknowledge me although they saw me standing there. There was one really tall muscular built guy that seemed to be doing good customer service but he is not the one that waited on me. My server, according to the receipt, was Trevor. Trevor obviously skipped customer service training. He was dry. Had no personality. Seemed annoyed that the world was still turning. He needs training. My egg rolls were good. No nice presentation when ordering to go but that is okay. The names on the receipt may not be the actual names because this had a guest name of Denora and that is not my name. The big complaint we have with this restaurant is that we were told the wait was 20-30 minutes, and 60 minutes later we were finally being seated. The wait for service and food was long also. We have 4 little ones who were really tired from the wait to begin with, then it took forever to get their drinks and chips and salsa. When the food finally came, it was really good. read more

We had lunch here Saturday 01/09 service was terrible and place was very dirty. Only good thing food was ok. Our server did not seem to be with it was not busy and every time out teas went empty and not like just happened but for prolonged time. The chip we got for starters were mostly chip crumbs. I would give zero stars if I could. Ate there Friday with my friends and there were gnats everywhere. We could not even eat our food because we were too busy swatting them away. When my food was brought- a burger- I had to send it back because it was raw- like bleeding raw. When I sent it back, they cut the burger open and put the face down on the grill and just grilled the front edges of the burger. When we complained to our waitress about the gnats- she called the manager over who gave a weak apology and said they were "treating" the gnats and that other restaurants were having issues too (not to my knowledge as I eat out pretty regularly). Our waiter came to take our drink order and appetizer order right away within a few minutes we had our drinks and appetizer of chili queso with chips and hot sauce which was nice and hot we ordered my husband ordered the orig chicken fingers with double corn and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger which was very good. I think the food was good but I the reason I am giving 5 stars is because of our waiter Dustin who was attentive but not intrusive made sure our drinks were always filled.
