The only downside we had to our visit here was that they were out of almond milk to make a latte for me, HOWEVER our server earned major points by telling me! She said she had to remake my drink because she made it with regular milk and then came back to tell me they were out of almond milk so I couldn't get that drink anyways. She was extremely apologetic and again, I appreciate her honesty. I have had people make me drinks without a milk alternative and my tongue swelled up, lol. Overall the food was great. I wanted to leave a good review...but I can't. We came here twice on our trip to Texas. The first time we ordered gluten free pancakes and let the waitress know we had celiac/gluten allergy and she said it was fine. Our pancakes tasted good and they were really big. We had to pay $2 extra for real maple syrup. That day, we got sick, celiac sick. But we weren't sure if it was from Eggsquisite. We came back a couple days later and ordered the same pancakes and told the waitress about having celiac. She informed us they cook the GF pancakes on the same surface and gluten items and they don't/wont clean it first. Now we knew it was for sure here that we got glutened. We promptly left. The bacon was also delicious! My husband enjoyed his very much! The pancakes, which they called baby cakes, were the best pancakes I have ever had! I loved the warm syrup it came with! Game changer! We were also surprised to get 4 pancakes. When we saw 2 sides, we thought 2 pancakes. Even though we shared, we were stuffed!
