Not very nice pleasant l. Oh need late. People at the door. One lady knocked one staff looked up but looked away. When they did let us in the woman in charge was a drill Sargent barking orders at patrons. She obviously had been asked questions previous times at opening and wasn't about to answer the same question so she just started barking orders like she knew what people were going to ask already. Had a great traditional loco moco here. The gravy was really good. Eggs and hamburger were cooked perfectly. Ordered some extra gravy on the side, yum. The only thing lacking was the service. I think they were a little understaffed. We'll probably head back there tomorrow to try some other breakfast items. read more

There was a daily line here so we thought we'd try the place. The wait was about 30 minutes and the hostess was super nice. The wait time was accurate. The food was very disappointing. The custom omelette was very soupy. Omelettes are not suppose to be soupy. And the ingredients were swimming in it. It was as if it wasn't completely cooked. I believe the egg was liquid egg that hadn't quite fully been cooked. We also ordered the corn beef hash which was the most sorry piece of meat. Over medium eggs were correctly done however. Overall, save your money and go somewhere else. Service is decent. But the food quality is close to putrid. read more

Honestly was slightly disappointed . I'm visiting and looked up where to go and this was one of the top places and it was the complete opposite experience . Wasn't awful , but the food took a really long time. The mimosas took at least 15-20 mins to get. They were good. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I was so excited to eat here and I just wasn't happy. My omelet had full tomatoes in it which was fine but the entire plate under my omelet was full on water. So I couldn't really taste everything in it and just wasn't appetizing. I would love to go back and try the place again because it has good reviews and was busy but that trip wasn't one to remember. He had the loco Moco and switched breakfast with me , that was SUPER good. I'd go back for that. read more

Was told 10 minute wait, 35 minutes later still was not seated with only one party eating and 6-7 open tables. I understand being low on staff or Covid regulations, but this was simply poor service. It is okay by diner standards. The potatoes were dry. The ketchup had high fructose corn syrup in it. We asked the waiter not to put a mountain of fake whipped cream on the waffle but they did anyway. The omelet had way too much bacon. Basically if you don't care about your health you would be fine here, but otherwise it's not the best. The one highlight was that the leaves and tomatoes on the ahi burger were very fresh. I've been here twice now and think they have good food. They have an extensive menu for breakfast. Don't want eggs? No problem. They had all kinds of waffles, pancakes, crepes and other things to choose from. The food is good. I enjoy the food I get there. However, I don't enjoy the waiting that goes along with eating here. The first time I went, we had to wait 30-45 minutes to get seated. This time, I called ahead; unfortunately, they don't take reservations and they won't put your name on the wait list. So I drove all the way here. Upon arriving, I saw that their wait list was a simple pad of paper you just wrote your name on. This seemed unprofessional to me. When I called, they said it would be a 30 minute wait. However, when we arrived, we ended up waiting an hour. By the time we ordered and got our food, well, I should have just ordered lunch. A bit small restaurant, but clean! When I stopped by to get my take out order around 7:30a, there was a good amount of people waiting to be seated so I assume they have long wait times. Ordering online was fast and easy. You have to pay for parking but it wasn't expensive at all but the stalls were a bit small. We got the strawberry Nutella mochi waffle, bacon and eggs, and side potato's with a coffee. My food was ready when I arrived but the host was busy seating others and answering phones so I waited a bit till he walked to the back to get my order and my coffee. I assume they were possibly a bit short staffed because I saw two other workers and they were also busy and couldn't hand me my order. But besides that, our food tasted good, equates to the price. The coffee was definitely very watery and hardly any taste. The mochi waffle was a good consistency and would definitely get it again! read more

The wait was insanely long, but we wanted to check it out. They have no call ahead option, nor do they give any priority to kamaaina. In fact, they seemed to forget our name and skip us, but we had been paying attention and they sat us right away when they realized they screwed up. We got sat and the waitress rushed us to order. I literally had 30 seconds while she stood staring at me to decide what I wanted. I got corned beef and eggs as it was the first thing I saw on the first page. Food came relatively quickly, drinks were never left empty, bill came promptly. Issues: they sat us at a two seater table, which left me nowhere to put my purse but the floor. No pursehooks on the underside of the table, and the chair backs were curved so my purse kept sliding off as the waitress hit it walking past. I don't know about you, but I refuse to put my leather purse on a restaurant floor. I did not like being rushed to order. The place was thinning out by the time we sat, so they didn't need us to hurry... so why??? If they took out their dumb shelves of merchandise, they could fit another 6 seats and the line would be faster. It's dumb to waste precious seating real estate on a fancy display. They have a bar, but it isn't open seating - they won't let you just sit there to avoid the long waiting line like most other bar counters. Makes no sense. Brought the family for vacation. Stayed at the disney resort opposite this restaurant. Short walk to this place for breakfast. Let's get one thing straight: this place makes an awesome LOCO MOCO! Best LOCO MOCO I've ever had. Definitely order this if you like burger patties and eggs. They lost a star for the really long wait. Waited around 35mins for the food to come. I have a toddler and 35mins is a LONG time to wait for food. Good is simple, tasty and affordable. Food definitely needs to come faster. Try it if you have the time. read more

How does this place not have better reviews?! This place is awesome! Great food and great service! We ordered...... macadamia nut pancakes, a mochi pineapple waffle, a kids waffle with Nutella, pineapple pancakes and scrambled eggs and bacon. The pancakes were so fluffy and full of flavor. The texture of the mochi waffle was perfectly chewy and the crunch of the macadamia nuts was delicious. The regular kids waffle was tasty too. The whipped cream that came with all the sweet stuff was delicious. As a family who doesn't eat pork, it was just amazing that they had turkey bacon! So lots of points for us for that. Our server was so nice and very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this place. Wish we had more vacation days to try more! read more

The island fry rice was my absolute favorite! I wanna say I ordered 3 of the 5 days I was in ko'olina. If I'd discovered it sooner, I would have probably eaten there all 5 mornings for breakfast! The only area of opportunity I'd mention is with the pos processing system. It appeared to be configured to add tip automatically without giving guests the option to select. I was given a total for items on the first day which was 37 dollars and upon tapping to pay, charge reflected 42 dollars. I addressed immediately and transaction was corrected. The second time I ordered, this happened again, but the employee quickly printed receipt and said he was unsure why that happened. I tip for great service so I didn't appreciate the automatic tip that most people would have not been aware of. read more

You gotta have the Kalua Pork eggs benedict at Eggs N Things. The hollandaise aide sauce was so good over the salty Kalua pork which was over that sweet heavenly taro purple rolls. Good combination of sweet and salty! Not to also mention, the beautiful plating of this dish that has a Hawaiian tropical flare to it with the oranges. Wish I didn't order the rice which was unnecessary cause it already has that balance from the rolls. Had the macadamia nut pancakes as well which was so good with that coconut syrup that they had. My only complaint is that they didn't have the lilukoi butter that everyone hypes about. Still a bucket list for me when I comeback to the islands. The service was a little slow but I can't complain because of the COVID rules that there following. But all in all, I will comeback for some more! read more

My go to are their smoked salmon or classic eggs benedict without english muffin (veggies instead) and hollandaise sauce on the side - which they do a great job packing up. Mr. enjoys the breakfast burrito with Turkey bacon (the tortilla wrap is toasted/grilled to a nice crisp). Not sure if they've recently hired on a new cook but the meal quality is far better than it's earlier days. I would not be surprised if the eggs were boxed because it just had that dull taste. I've given them a few tries but this ends my visits. At one point there were about a dozen birds, two hens and one rooster eating off a table...certainly an organic way to clear tables. read more

This is a great little breakfast place! My husband and I shared several dishes, which is the best way to get all the things!! Fresh squeezed pineapple and orange juice were awesome!! We had a ham and cheese omelet, with a side of strawberry pancakes, home fries and corned beef hash. The hash was canned but cooked perfectly. The pancakes (three huge pancakes were a SIDE order) were covered in fresh strawberries and a massive cone of whipped cream and macadamia nuts. Three different kinds of syrup were offered. I loved the coconut syrup but my husband loved them just as they were without syrup. The omelet was good and huge as well. The home fries were crispy and seasoned well. Portions are so big so bring your appetite. The only con (which is not a huge deal), was the check-in process. You add yourself to the waitlist on Yelp but then it's a little confusing once you get there. Also, we had another 20ish minute wait once we got there, despite adding ourselves to the waitlist ahead of time. Finally, I wish we had been given the option to eat outside, but such is life these days. The waitstaff was lovely! Very clean. They are clearly continuing to take Covid protocols seriously, which I appreciate. read more
