We visited this place twice during our recent vacation. The first time was delightful - we sat outside, enjoyed delicious eggs and pancakes, had great service etc. Visit number 2, we were turned away bc my vaccinated MINOR son didn't have a photo ID. This is the first time we had been asked this. The TSA, the State of HI, Safe Travels Oahu nor our resort or any other restaurants we visited asked for this. The folks running Eggs n Things are apparently more knowledgeable of the rules than the folks that made the rules. I would avoid, they aren't interested in your business. read more

June 21st, 2024 . My first time eating there. As I am eating, I see a ROACH crawl up the wall right next to me (so close that if i were an inch closer to the wall it could have gotten on me). In literal discuss & nauseated, I wave down the waitress & point out the ROACH. She look at the ROACH and responds with "are you ready to check out now?" . Like what ?! I respond with absolutely! She goes around the corner & tells, who i assume to be the manager, that there's a roach . Then comes back with the tab. No changes, not apologies, NO ANYTHING . I was so disgusted, I just wanted to get out of there . But with the reviews they have I expected way more HUMILITY from the situation. I understand that Hawaii has a roach problem, but i have been to numerous restaurants & never had this problem, & to add insult to injury , instead of a simple apology , they did NOTHING! A tiny little restaurant with great service and huge portions. Macadamia nut pancakes are a must. The omelet could freed 2-3!

Worst experience ever!! We walked in and ordered for to go. It took 50 mins to get our food. Also they seemed just care about the delivery orders like Uber eats. This place has wonderful food! The food was delicious and are portioned well, unlike some other restaurants on the island. I've been here multiple times during my stay and order something new each time because you can't go wrong with anything on their diverse menu. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The place is upbeat and just a fun place to be. This is by far my favorite restaurant and I love to come here for breakfast. This place is a must try for anyone on the island. read more

This place was so disappointing. I love the Eggs N Things here in California so I was so excited to try it in Hawaii. We arrived right when they opened (I have a 7 month old who was ready to rise and shine). The hostess was so sweet and the reason for the 2 stars. But the food, the crepes, the crab cake Benedict was horrible. The crepes were so dry, over cooked and had a very weird taste. They just threw in some chopped pineapple and called them pineapple crepes. My crab cake Benedict was a breaded crab cake on what seemed like a toasted hamburger bun drenched in hollandaise sauce. You couldn't taste the crab cake, and hollandaise was thin and not great. The place was clean and cute inside, have their merchandise and syrups to purchase. The food was incredibly disappointing. I will be visiting Eggs N Things in CA to have some delicious crepes as redemption. read more

Ono! The guava syrup and coconut syrup are so good. I couldn't decide which one was better. Mac nut pancakes, spam and green onion omelet, salmon benedict were all amazing. A good addition to KoOlina options. read more

Very small and tight location. My boyfriend and I came this Sunday morning and surprisingly, it wasn't as busy as we thought. Another party came before us and was greeted immediately by the host. We were standing awkwardly at the door until a server (young male) took us in. Waited another 5-10 min until our waitress came by to take our order. Food came out in around 15-20 min, in which we didn't mind. The food was pretty mediocre, above Denny's of course. although, personally I didn't like being so close to the party next to us; I like more privacy. Now the thing that kind of ticked me off was the server that took us in. It wasn't that he was rude, he was just unprofessional. We didn't finish our food because we were so full and on our way out, he was like, "ahhh u guys don't want a take out box? I see how it izzz" I told him no thanks and my boyfriend looks at me like "yikes" The food was pretty good, service could use a little help. Great job to the sweet girl that served us. read more

Despite a review we read on take out, we decided to hedge our bet and tried it out. First off, we had to wait outside until this person would take our order. After waiting patiently for 10 minutes, I decided to go inside and ask...finally a gentleman comes over and take our order, and was told that it would take 25 minutes for our order to complete. We said OK and decided to go across the street to Country Market to shop. After 30 minutes, we came back to the restaurant, expecting our order to be ready...surprised, it was not. After 35 min., I decided to ask about the status of our order. After 40 minutes, it was complete. Apparently, the order was ready, sitting on a counter. By the time we got back to our room, the food was luke warm. It was not bad food, but would have been better warm. Needless to say, we will likely not do take out at this establishment. read more

Sat down promptly and our order was taken (they must've worked out the kinks as other reviews had stated). We ordered the banana crepes, strawberry pancakes, mushroom omelette, and house potatoes. My husband wasn't particularly wowed with the omelette, but I found their coconut syrup so delicious. Coconut flavor doesn't hit u in the face, mellow but creamy and smooth flavor. Their pancakes would be enough for two people to eat. We could've done without the entire mountain of whipped cream - it was a bit wasteful as I saw other plates going back to be cleaned with stacks and stacks of whipped cream. Regardless, I felt that pricing was average for Hawaii and at least it's another option than eating at the more expensive aulani. I would recommend this place. read more

I came on their first day open so I'll probably update this review next time I go (I live in Ko'Olina), in hopes that they've worked their kinks out after a few weeks. The ordering situation is really weird. You get a menu & order at the outdoor hostess stand, which I thought felt very rushed & bizarre. Seeing what other people are eating when you first sit down is really helpful in deciding what to get. While I was looking at the menu, multiple employees asked me what I was in the mood for & while I know they were just trying to be helpful & were overeager due to it being opening day, I found it very annoying. I was in the mood for reading over the menu without feeling like staff was breathing down my neck. I ordered an egg white omelet with tri-color potatoes, and a water. The hostess confirmed the order repeatedly and then sent me inside to pay. At the next counter, I again confirmed the order multiple times and then got sat at a table. I waited probably more than 5 minutes before finally flagging someone down and asking for my water. I found this particularly annoying since I'd confirmed my order over and over again. It seemed like since everyone orders before being sat, that you don't really have a designated server. My food arrived shortly after and I asked for hot sauce. The girl asked if Tabasco was ok. I asked what else they had (bec Tabasco is the lowliest of the hot sauces) & she said that was the only option. Ok fine but then don't present it like I have a choice. Just bring the Tabasco. Anyway, the egg whites were runny and undercooked. It wasn't so much an omelet as it was a pile of undercooked veggies with egg whites folded over them. Even the potatoes, which I've had before, were undercooked and just eh. The whole meal was underwhelming. No one came by to check on me until I'd eaten enough to decide it wasn't worth sending back and then like 4 employees came by back-to-back-to-back to ask how awesome everything was. Since you've already paid, you just get up and go which felt pretty weird. Overall I'm willing to give a second chance because they're so new and because I live in K'O and know I'll end up here again. But from someone who'd been looking forward to their opening for months, it was pretty disappointing. I hope they make major improvements to the food & hopefully do away with the very weird process of ordering and go with a normal sit-and-order-from-a-server situation. read more

Pro tip is to order ahead and do pick up if you're going to get take out. It will take a long time and there is usually a long line of people waiting to be seated so it's a bit awkward. This is such a good breakfast spot. The kids loved their pancakes with ridiculous amounts of whipped cream (seriously - over five meals worth on a single plates stacked about seven inches high). My crab eggs benedict was soft yolks which shouldn't happen for Benedicts but it made up on the taste. My wife's was fine though. Be aware the many birds in the outdoor seeding area will fly around and even get food at your feet and there are a lot of them. They didn't bother us much but I can see how some people really don't like it. read more

The coconut pancakes were very dry. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and was surprised to see two small chicken fingers for the chicken portion. The crabcake Benedict was mostly breading. The English muffin was actually a toasted hamburger bun. I realize this restaurant is right next to the Disney resort and will charge more, but definitely not worth the money. We had the fresh whipped cream with strawberries waffle minus the whipped cream. Was nice and warm perfectly cooked enough strawberries too. We also had the breakfast plate with scrambled eggs and bacon crispy was tasty and delicious. My daughter ordered the pork links and scrambled eggs with rice she was truly satisfied. My granddaughter got the keiki grilled cheese with fries and fruit was the best looking fruit plate ever. I'm telling you at least try the breakfast then you can go try for lunch or dinner. Had a good breakfast here one day. Just have to say I didn't like how it was set up, you order your meal at the hostess stand and pay before even sitting down. I just felt very frazzled and rushed. I felt pressure to order and there are so many things on the menu as well. I got a potato bacon and cheese omelette with pancakes on the side (they came with colorful sprinkles because we donated to one of their foundations) and also ordered a loco moco which was one of the best my boyfriend said he had while being in Hawaii.
