Wow I'm sad I didn't get here on my last trip to Aulani. I told them if they wore costumes no one would ever book a Disney bfast buffet. We waited about a half hour. Not bad considering the time of day. Our server was terrific, everyone was friendly and OH my gosh the food was phenomenal. In seven days had breakfast four times and dinner once. We thoroughly enjoyed the varied menu and generally warm hospitality. We also enjoyed the time away from the packed, over priced Aulani. I comment "generally" as the friendly service vibe is alive and well when the manager Bryson is on duty. In his absence, service is ok but probably three stars best case, thus the four stars. Food is good, but it's not worth the time spent. 45 minute wait for a table for a party of 4. 10 minutes to get your order in. 25-30 minutes to get your food. Definitely avoid the weekends and holidays. We live on O'ahu and did a staycation at the Four Seasons for the Labor Day weekend. We walked over on our last day for something different. Although we saved $$$ over Four Seasons, it wasn't worth the time spent. Our morning was shot - kids could have been at the beach or pool. Adults could have been at the spa, etc. No complaints on the food, but it's not THAT good. Best thing we had was the Paniolo Loco Moco. The special waffles and pancakes were just OK. They need to manage expectations better and be more attentive to customers. Figure out a way not to make people wait so long. read more

The wait can be long, so add yourself on the waitlist on yelp before going. They had a good selection, and food was good. We had the strawberry pancakes -soooo Good- I had an egg white omelet, veery well cooked eggs like I requested. The service was very attentive to, the only issue we had is that they sat us outside and there are ALOT of birds flying around trying to get your food and pooping everywhere, so we sat our whole meal trying to get the birds away and looking around hoping they did not poop on us. Eggs n Things used to be the place to go in the 80s and 90s. Havent been in years. Decided to check out the Kapolei location. Hostess/cashier/server were all pleasant. The pancakes were dry and a little rubbery. Crabcake benedict made up of mostly breadcrumbs. And my son's benedict didnt have enough sauce. They get busy, not uncommon to wait 20-30 minutes for a table. The space isn't huge so makes sense you might have to hang out ahead of time, no big deal though, there is a Starbucks right next door to help with the wait. Some people in our party had been before and had great things to say, like it was the next breakfast place they've ever been. For me, if it's not a breakfast buffet then it better be something special. We had a combination of items including omelettes, loco moco and pancakes. Everything was good, nothing bad to say about the food and the people inside were super nice. The omelette was great it was the Spanish special or something like that and didn't disappoint. I wouldn't usually order loco moco, but when in Hawaii it seems like the right thing to do at least a couple times. It was good but definitely have to be in the mood, I guess it's a little heavy and boring to me. Pancakes definitely stole the show, more of a cake batter feeling to us, but in a good way. Nice device. Traditional and local eats. They have things from spam, eggs, and rice to fluffy yummy pancakes. The most interesting menu item we got was the (breakfast) loco moco. Their gravy is a made a little differently. I did not eat this but hubby did and he liked it. Family friendly joint. We've come here to this location before a few times and enjoyed the service and the food. We were looking forward to the same experience yet again today. But sadly we never got the chance. When we arrived and checked in on the waitlist tablet they had outside the time was about 12:18. I received a text message saying that the time was 12:19 and the wait would be 6-16 minutes. No big deal, they looked a bit busy but not crazy and the wait was expected given it was a Saturday. Fast forward to 20 minutes later and I notice some customers had left and that a small group had walked in and were now seated. I walked in and asked the staff member behind the front counter if the wait list tablet located outside was the correct way to go about getting a table and he said yes. He didn't say anything further but continued counting what May have been his cash drop or other for the day. I hadn't eaten anything for the day as I intermittent fast and was hoping to break it eating my fav pancakes they have. But with 10 minutes going by added to the 20 already and I just felt like we weren't valued as customers at that point and so we left. I waited to see if anyone from the restaurant would text or call whether to say our table was ready, or apologize for the mix up or anything..but no. It's been over 4 hours and not a word. We ended up driving to another place to eat which was enjoyable. I know Eggs n Things are closed now but when we checked in we still had a good hour and a half before they closed which was more then enough time to enjoy their food. This is my favorite breakfast spot in the area! My family and I live nearby so we go often. The wait can be long up to an hour or more in some cases so depending on how you feel about breakfast, I'd take that into consideration. To me it's worth it though. The staff are so friendly, fast and thoughtful. Their macadamia nut pancakes with whipped cream are great! They don't even need syrup but the coconut and guava syrups are good too! My husband and I usually share an omelette and upgrade the pancakes that they come with. Their coffee is always a good temperature, not watered down and refilled often. We always leave full! I'd recommend their Hawaiian Loco Moco too! read more

Oh, hell no. The restaurant is cramped, the food comes out on plastic plates, the food itself is marginal, but they try and make up for that by squirting on a lot of whipped cream. The meat is over priced by a factor of two or three. Plan to spend $40+ for breakfast for two. It's a resort, tourist trap eatery. The online waiting line is new and very useful! Saved us at least 40 minutes of standing around outside. Overall, I think we waited about 15-20 minutes but when our table was ready, we were called right in. Enough about that... onto the good stuff! The omelette was cooked perfectly and, in all honesty, I am a very tough critic when it comes to eggs and omelettes... one scorched spot or runny white... back to the kitchen it goes!! This one was soft, fluffy... just like an omelette is supposed to be. I had the Cajun spiced ahi (rare) with over medium eggs and fried rice. Just to add more calories and creaminess, I ordered a side of hollandaise. Can I just say that it was amazing! The eggs could have been slightly runnier but overall, I enjoyed every bite! As for the pancakes, I just don't have the words! They were so GOOD!! Definitely ask for extra butter - you won't be disappointed. My family and I ate at ENT on 2 separate occasions during our stay at a nearby hotel. The food was incredibly delicious! My husband and I both ordered the ENT Loco Moco and we both think it's the best Loco Moco we've ever eaten. The patty is freshly made and seasoned well, not some frozen patty you can buy that we have tasted in other restaurants in Hawaii or on the Mainland. The gravy is also so unique! We tried their coconut pancakes which were yummy and became more delicious with their coconut syrup. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is because the place is tiny for a busy restaurant. There is a merchandising section that could fit more seats and their outdoor area can also be better accommodating. There were 3 sets of small tables that were left unused. It may be because there's not enough room to throw them together for a large party or because they want to save them for parties of 2. Either way, the space doesn't seem to be used efficiently to accommodate more guests who are waiting to be fed their delicious food. read more

I was shocked to find this in koolina area, and I was even more shocked that their menu wasn't over priced like most places in that area. They have a variety of dishes, they even have some that fit the local taste and the some unique flavors only found in the islands.
