The breakfast food and fried rice is decent. Barely a step above ihop or dennys. The wait time was atrocious and not worth the food. The service was also horrendous. I realize that this may have been my particular waitress though as other people did not seem to have to wait as long to order, or get their check and they actually got refills on drinks too. My wife and I went here three times during our stay at Aulani. The food is fantastic, portions are plentiful, and prices are very reasonable compared to the resort restaurants in the area. The service was great as well. You could tell the employees greatly appreciated our business. We had the eggs benedict, crab cake eggs benedict, kulua pork omlet, bacon mushroom omlet and a side of pancakes during our three visits. Everything was fresh and included unique flavors like guava pancake syrup, zucchini salsa, and kulua pork. The restaurant also offers traditional flavors and breakfast a for less adventurous types. Very popular place, but plenty of reasons it shouldn't be. There was a large line up outside. The hostess was loud and focused on efficiency over customer service. She ended up giving away a table for a mother and toddler because they weren't present when she called their name, and she frequently made negative comments about customers who were taking their time to pay their bill and leave. I was with my wife and toddler. Later when they called my name, they said that I could not bring my (just purchased) coffee inside and that I would have to drink it outside. Since their policy is to not allow outside food or drink, I had to wait while my family went inside. Myself and many of the people waiting in line were visibly irritated by this. Since I wasn't going to buy coffee from the restaurant anyway, this only negatively impacted the opinion of other customers, and didn't help them to sell more coffee. When we were seated at our table, the table was noticeably unclean and was sticky with syrup from the previous dinners. I ordered the veggie omelette, and it was soupy and later upset my stomach. We also ordered the kids pancakes and the dragon fruit bowl. Those looked fine and my family thought they were okay. The restaurant was crowded, and the service was rushed. One side-effect of the overcrowding was that my kid got run over by another customer who was trying to navigate between tables. They were very apologetic, but the overall atmosphere wasn't enjoyable. Saturday midday, table of 2. Pros: - short wait to be seated, a few minutes - hostess and server were welcoming - food started to come out approx 15 minutes after order was taken the second time. Pretty fast for having ordered waffles, French toast, Benedict, hash and eggs, crepes - food was pretty good, not too salty or over cooked. Crab cake Benedict was a premade patty but cooked to order, a little bready but enough "crab" taste. Breakfast potatoes are seasoned like Jack in the Box curly fries. Over easy eggs cooked to perfection, corned beef hash had a nice crispy outside layer. White chocolate Belgian waffle was the right combo of tart and sweet, would have been better if it was browned/crunchy but it was overall worth the calories. Blueberry coconut French toast was also another good combo of flavors; there were 3 huge slices of bread and this is definitely one to share. I had high hopes for the strawberry sour cream and cheesecake crepe, and it was my least favorite dish. The crepe was a bit too thick/bread-like for me, and there wasn't enough filling. This one I could have done without. Cons: - parking was ok when we went but the lot can get crowded, spaces are small - can be good for small groups of 5ish, any bigger and there might be a long wait - our order was taken but somehow erased from the iPad, so needed to be taken again. Slight delay in our order - specials are flashed on TV screens, would have preferred them stationary so we could read the list without having to wait for it to cycle through food photos before coming back to the specials menu Verdict: will definitely go back if there's parking. The Belgian waffle and hash/eggs will likely be my go-to read more

Terrible time management and process. The staff waited for 95% of the tables to cleared and cleaned all the tables. After another 10 minutes sat us along with nine other parties one by one. We were sat 50 min past our reservation time. Once seated, one employee went table to table taking the orders (in the order of the tables, not the reservation time). They have now just flooded the kitchen with more than half of the restaurants capacity of orders, along with take out orders. The employees are running around with their "heads cut off". It's chaotic and ridiculously loud. It's almost laughable, if it were not for the fact that they have robbed us of over an hour of our last 5 in Hawaii. No surprise that when our food came out the other orders followed. As we left the sidewalk and all the sidewalk tables were filled with people waiting to get in for their reservation. Quite the vicious cycle they've created. The food however was excellent. Very disappointing overall experience. read more

Service sucks. Even trying to place a phone/takeout order can't go through. Their automated system keeps prompted to press a number to talk to worker but not goin through so instead we arrived to store just to place an order. Once arrive, a worker that's taking down customers to be seated just ignore me and didn't ask if I needed help, till I just walk in to talk to someone else. Once I received my order and looked in my bag their was no utensils or condiments like syrup for my pancakes. Called to complain and told me it's state law to ask for utensils. But as I received my bag no one asked if I needed utensils as other restaurants ask those question. Also I figured would have Atleast condiments like butter, syrup and etc in the bag since the worker just handed me my ordered. read more

We ordered multiple items thru Doordash. Delivery time came + went. Called to check. Turns out, our digital needed to be manually input into their antiquated system. Thus ordered again on phone, since 1st digital order was nowhere. Food FINALLY arrived to marriott Beach club. My side of bacon was nowhere :( Called to inform management- to which I was answered by "well, since u order side of bacon, it was included inside omelet." Agreed was inside, yet did not order inside omelet. Wanted it on the side, like my fried rice (arrived on side). Requested just simple credit for bacon, in case of ordering again. I was met with rude reiteration of "if u order bacon side, it will be inside omelet, not on the side." REALLY??!! A word of caution to locals and tourist alike: Check your receipt before you pay. This is going to be a little lengthy, so buckle your seatbelts, get some popcorn, and bear with me while I paint you a picture of my 1st, and possibly only, experience here. First, the AC happened to be broken that day, which of course was never mentioned to us. All our server told us was "Wow, sure is hot in here today". We looked over the menu, and I decided on a Hawaiian style loco moco, a basic waffle, and some coffee, while the wifey decided on a potato and cheese omelet, with 3 fluffy pancakes as her starch. We also saw that their menu offered to "Add whipped cream & macadamia nuts to pancakes", all for $2.50! What a deal! When my wife ordered her pancakes, the waitress asked if we wanted it on top, or inside the pancake. What kind of savage wants to put macadamia nuts on top when we can get it mixed in?! So we told her to put it in the pancake. Our order was taken, and a few minutes later my coffee arrived, lukewarm. I didn't complain because I don't like my coffee scalding hot, but I did wonder if it was an attempt to make the beverage easier to drink off the bat, or if they just forgot to turn the warmer on. Next our food arrived....well, most of it. I got my loco moco, my wife got her omelet and pancakes, and my waffle.....well, it was nowhere to be seen. I thought perhaps it was taking a little longer to make it (yeah right), or perhaps I didn't speak loudly enough when she took my order, so it never made it's way on the list. It was hard to ask the question, since we rarely saw our waitress, so I just disregarded it as lost cause. We both ate our meals, which was pretty standard local food, and waited for our check. This is where things take a turn. We got our check, and the waffle was indeed on the check. I told our waitress we never got the waffle, and all I got in response was a "Oh, okay I'll take it off the bill". No apology for missing food, even a half hearted attempt would have been better than to just brush it off as if she forgot to give us extra napkins instead of a whole food dish. But I'm a pretty mellow guy, so I let it go. But I decided to scrutinize our bill just a little bit more, in case more things were amiss. That's when I noticed my wife's omelet price.....$18.50!!! What kind of prize winning chicken eggs were we eating to have an omelet worth almost $20?! I passed it over to her to look, and she told me her omelet only cost $12.50, and with the $2.50 extra for the whipped and macadamia nuts we should only be paying $15. Mind you, the omelet price wasn't broken down to explain omelet is this price, plus this price for XXX, this price for YYY, for a grand total of ZZZ. It was a straight price, so only God or a psychic could guess as to why it was so high. We grabbed a menu to ensure we saw what we saw, and saw it we did. "Add whipped cream and macadamia nuts to pancakes...$2.50". We brought the check over to the cashier, and explained to her that we were overcharged for our pancake. She walked over to the waitress, then came back after a few minutes to tell us that the extra $6 charge was because we had added a topping and whipped cream, which was $6. I pointed it out in the menu what we were looking at, the exact line we were looking at, and told her again it should only be $2.50. The cashier walked away again, and this time the waitress came back with here. The waitress stood by the cash register, punched some buttons, then had the nerve to tell me now the reason we got charged extra on top of the $2.50 was because we had asked to put the nuts in the pancake, instead of just on them. W.T.F. I about lost my s*&% at that point, because in what world does it cost an extra $3.50 TO PUT NUTS INSIDE OF A PANCAKE INSTEAD OF ON IT?! I can only assume they hired a world class macadamia nut chef to make these pancakes, because that is the only reason it would cost so much extra to do that. So I told her, with as much patience I could muster at that point, that she never told us that it was going to cost extra to do that, and if she had, we would never had ordered it that way, because that is stupidly expensive. She walked over to her manager, came back after a couple minutes, punched some numbers into the register, told the cashier it was okay, and just walked away after that. No apology from her, again. The cashier was nice though, and she offered her apologies, which I accepted. All in all, it was a very frustrating experience, and if it wasn't for the missing waffle we probably never would have noticed the exorbitant price for the omelet. So beware....you have been warned. read more

We were staying at Disney Aulani and ate most of the time at the resort. The day we checked out we had a few hours to spare before going to the airport and they kindly let us in right before their last call @ 1:30pm. Ashley took care of us and the food was wonderful. I unfortunately am gluten intolerant and dining out is rough. They did have a couple of options and I ate the build your own omelet. It was wonderful. Ashley & staff were patient and kind while we ate and always checked if we needed anything else including coffee and refreshments. It was a nice last meal in Oahu! read more

This is a great place with a huge menu across the street from Aulani and the Four Seasons. There is something for everyone. We enjoyed the Funky Monkey pancake special that my kids split. My crepes with strawberries and Nutella were yummy- crispy thin crepes were delicious. My husband had the peach cheesecake waffle special and a beer (breakfast-lunch of champions). Bright atmosphere and friendly staff. Only slight complaint is that the food took a little while to come out after it was ordered, but it was worth the wait. read more

Went a couple weeks ago and arrived 5 minutes before opening but they didn't open until 20 after. Food was just alright wait staff was friendly though so decided to come back today. This time food was horrible, got veggie omelet. Zucchini was close to raw and inside the egg wasn't cooked at all. The bottom of the plate was combo of runny egg, water and grease. Yuck. Ate a few bites and left the rest. Staff was friendly enough but didn't notice I hardly ate the food. I'll give 2 stars because the front of house was hustling but the food should get 0. Coffee was pretty bad too. I'd recommend going across the street and ordering breakfast from the market and getting coffee or Island Vintage Coffee. It'll be a little less expensive and food and coffee are much better. This little restaurant has great potential but at this rate I won't be back. I recently moved in the neighborhood behind and was hoping this spot could be a regular weekly breakfast spot. read more

Worst meal experience on the island I had. This review is for takeout. I get that you're short on staff on Christmas Eve, but don't tell me to wait 20 min which turned out to be an hour. And the food was terrible. My banana pancakes had only a sliver of banana in the whole stack, and the dough tasted of baking soda. Their supposedly popular crab cake benedict had burnt crab cakes that tasted worse than the kind you buy from the frozen supermarket section. The so called spam omelette had such bad spam, it tasted like it was opened straight from a can. Stay clear of this place. I think they are only getting business because they happen to be in the ko olina area. I should have just bought better $2 spam musubi from the abc store across the street. read more

Ran over here for breakfast to add some variety to our vacation morning ritual. I was pleasantly surprised. Kids pancakes were great and there was a pineapple syrup - delicious. Kids chicken tenders were very good. The pork eggs Benedict were very good. The potatoes on the side were delicious. Bacon was a little on the crispy side. Overall a ton of food done very well. The Ahi and Eggs with a side of Jalapeño bacon rice is now in my top 10 dishes I've ever eaten anywhere. The Ko Olina location was busy but we just grabbed the 745 reservation time and there was a table waiting for us when we arrived. Service was great and was very helpful in making recommendations and explaining any extra sauces or condiments that were offered. The first day we went it was Kalbi and Eggs. It was good, not my personal favorite but I like trying some different recommendations. The second day I went with the Ahi (macadamia nut version) and eggs and the fried rice and it was the best meal I had while on Oahu. I could have eaten the sauce by itself. Beautiful area of the island, convenient to any of the Ko Olina resorts. Definitely go to this place. My family got the waffles and pancakes and raved about both but they all loved my fried rice and ate more of it then I got. read more

We visited this place twice during our recent vacation. The first time was delightful - we sat outside, enjoyed delicious eggs and pancakes, had great service etc. Visit number 2, we were turned away bc my vaccinated MINOR son didn't have a photo ID. This is the first time we had been asked this. The TSA, the State of HI, Safe Travels Oahu nor our resort or any other restaurants we visited asked for this. The folks running Eggs n Things are apparently more knowledgeable of the rules than the folks that made the rules. I would avoid, they aren't interested in your business. read more
