OMG! This place SHOULD be on Food Network's Diners, Drive-In's and Dives! Shout out to Kris U. and his review for sparking our interest! This is definitely an old school diner with an unpretentious casual vibe. We arrived early so there was a choice of several booths or tables. Two very friendly servers, who probably thought it was strange that I was in such a snap happy mood, greeted us. We told them it was our first time (You think? Honestly, we act like tourists sometimes ... so embarrassing as my husband says). Let's start with the coffee; I heard it was strong. I'd say more of a dark roast; however, it was hot and fresh with free refills. Our server, Ana, was very helpful! She gave us a run down on the entire menu. We decided on the Lumberjack and Bacon Avocado Brie Benny. Ana was extremely accommodating and efficient, asking if we wanted brown, white, wholegrain or rye toast, French toast or pancakes, how we wanted the eggs cooked, was it okay that it came with bacon AND sausages (hellooooooooo, meat lover husband here). When someone asks that many questions, I know the food is going to be gooood! We asked for over easy and soft boiled to make sure the yolks were still runny. I know, I'm spending a lot of time writing about eggs! You know how a bad cup of coffee can ruin your morning? We're the same way with broken egg yolks! How am I going to dip my toast .. in my coffee? Tell me you understand! Our food arrived and it looked scrumptious. The amount of food on our plate was surprising. My EAT-4-2 husband didn't know what to do first, butter the toast or pour syrup on the French toast. No really, I'm not joking, I've never seen him so lost and disorganized! Geesh, not me, I just dug in ... I meant gracefully of course. I was a bit anxious about the eggs. I poked at one and YES, runny yolks, but not undercooked. The avocado was perfectly ripe, but still firm. The hollandaise sauce was delicious. We asked for the home fries to be crispier and they were. I could taste bits of onion as well. I thought the slices of brie added some creativity to the dish, but to be honest, with the runny yolks, creamy hollandaise sauce and buttery avocado slices; I didn't taste the brie. No matter, back to the food. The pork sausages had quite a bit of fat and not a lot of texture, so I think extra bacon might be a better choice next time. The bacon was extra crispy, just like we requested. My husband is not a huge fan of French toast, but he certainly enjoyed it here. Ana checked on us often and one of the women that had greeted us earlier came by to ask what we had decided on. I thought that was so sweet and the service was absolutely amazing. The place became busy fast, so we arrived at a good time. We paid for our bill at the cash register and left with full bellies and a fantastic breakfast experience. I've been thinking of returning ever since! This isn't a fancy breakfast/brunch/lunch place. I felt right at home wearing a T-shirt, yoga pants, running shoes and no make-up ... I loved it! The Lumberjack - $12.95 Bacon Avocado Brie Benny - $13.95 Coffee - $2.50

@eggliciousto is one of Toronto's top brunch & lunch spot serving the community since 2006. For many of you, brunch is a holy tradition that I take very seriously on weekends. Since we have returned to stage 2 measures, @eggliciousto is now offering outdoor brunch on their beautiful patio, take-out and pick-up is all available. Let me tell you we had a huge feast and it was totally perfect. We enjoyed savoury and sweet dishes that makes my life easier because I get to have them all! My first visit... AND MY VERY LAST. EVER. Biggest menu I've ever seen.... I WAS looking forward to trying many items in the future. But not any more. Prices are NOT cheap, Benedict prices are in line with every other breakfast spot, and frankly, who cares when the food is bad how much you get or the price anyways? I do NOT understand the 4.5 rating on Google... I think these are fake, some at least. I ordered the Avocado Brie Benedict...The eggs, bacon, English muffin and hollandaise were all lukewarm or cold. And the whites were not cooked. The potatoes were disgusting, they had a very very odd, astringent/medicinal taste, and so much red spice, what are they hiding? Also, the fruit isn't seeded (apples) and was brown, obviously not treated with citrus to stop the oxidation process! They remade the eggs. Believe it or not, they were actually colder than the first time and some of the white was not cooked, again. I just couldn't send it back again, people are starving right here in this city! Waitress said she never gets complaints (keep reading to find out why). I spoke with the owner. He said he didn't know what happened. He gets zero complaints on Google reviews (no wonder he isn't interested in Yelp!) I told him that other yelpers also noted lukewarm food, it wasn't just me. And that I had cut a piece of the 2nd order, to let the waitress touch it. She agreed it was not hot. After the owner left my table, three low-rent trash customers interfered and barked at me. And told me to shut up. Bearded male said I should shut it and write a review if I was so unhappy with the food...so I did!! Wait staff, see pics, chatted about it with the bearded male + gf at the cash. Said "well when the dog is off the leash.....". Isn't that charming? SERIOUSLY. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL! Owner did comp my food, which was good of him. So. Prices are not dive prices. They're competitive with every other breakfast and lunch restaurant. So we should get hot, well made food. We certainly have a right to NOT be harassed and almost threatened by low-rent customers with extra large yaps. And the staff certainly SHOULDN'T engage in it. 3 feet away from customers no less. In my opinion. So I doubt if I'll ever be back. Shame, given its 5 minutes away and I eat out a lot! Goddess of grammar signing off...!

Love love love egglicious! No frills greasy and filling breakfast food. I usually get the lumberjack and the portions are huge! Only downside is the pancakes are not so great and the milkshake was a bit too runny (but a delicious drink nonetheless)

JUST WOW ! I am beyond impressed by this place ! I Ordered the Cajun Chicken Eggs Benedict (without bread) with home fries (potatoes) .. I was worried at first bc I have celiac (Gluten allergy) but the server was so helpful ! (she said her sister also has celiac) so she was very familiar with what I couldn't eat ... She offered To substitute the bun for tomato .. I also asked for red pepper and they accommodated ; all The staff were friendly and the service was very fast .. the food was perfect ! So delicious! & this is my new favourite breakfast place now ! Well done !!

Front: 3 Egg Portobello, Spinach & Goat Cheese Benny ($14). Back: Morning Glory ($12). Huge portions!

Great little bfast spot! Big portions, big menu, good quality and friendly service. Reasonably fast turnover even on a Sunday. Only disappointments were the bfast potatoes which were not even remotely crispy and the unnecessary use of disposable plastic cups for the salad dressing/sauces. But everything else was exactly right for a casual hungry Sunday morning. Will definitely be back. 2nd visit: 3 egg PORTOBELLO SPINACH GOAT CHEESE BENNY ($14) comes with bfast potatoes AND delicious, naturally sweet fruit salad. MORNING GLORY ($12) french toast, 3 eggs any style + sausages (or bacon or ham). Enough food to feed an army! Potatoes were much tastier this time.

Thought i would give this place another go. I've been here a couple more times for their smoothies and shakes, which were great. Today for lunch I got a corned beef sandwich (6 oz). To my surprise the sandwich came with homefries, a small salad and pickles all for $9.30 (tax included). I have to say for value and food portion this place really is generous. So I was excited to try the corned beef sandwich. It's a bit different than what i've seen at other deli places. The bread here is grilled with butter on the outside. When i took a bite of this juicy sandwich all that I could think about was how crazy salty the corned beef was. It was a real shame. And the mustard did not help. There is no way I can recommend getting a corned beef sandwich larger than 6oz here. The meat is just a salt bomb. I could not taste the salad after eating a bite of the sandwich and I could barely taste the hash browns. And I just altogether avoided the pickels... For the price, sure it's cheap, but it was hard to finish.

This is the regular breakfast, 3 eggs, sausage and toast.

Pierina guided us via phone and even came outside of the restaurant and waved as we approached. That was awesome Customer service as well as kindness. Ambiance was chill inside. Especially liked the artwork and table with their name on it. I had the Nutella latte, Nutella and strawberry waffle, and a side of sausage. Didn't like the sausage at all (tasted a bit gamey) but that's probably because ein the states there are nitrates, etc that make it taste better. No biggie! She switched it out for bacon, and that was fine and appreciated. My sister had the breakfast tacos that looked delicious and she really enjoyed. All in all this was a great pick and I would return when im Canada ever again and I'm in the area. Keep up the great work, Pierina. Her welcoming attitude attentiveness and knowledge of the menu was stellar and warrants recognition. Thank you!!!

I ordered a latte and grabbed two goodies for the road, a raspberry croissant and a ginger molasses cookie. The staff working were welcoming and friendly and my items were ready rather quickly. Once I got back to my hotel, I settled in to enjoy and get some work done. My latte was smooth and creamy and just what I needed to get my day started. My raspberry croissant was beautiful and packed full of flavor. The filling wasn't too sweet and there was just the right amount inside. I saved my cookie for a snack while I traveled home later that day. I love how it had chunks of sugared ginger on top. The cookie had the perfect amount of chew to it and the ginger on top added an extra burst of ginger. It was lovely. I'm so glad I found this cafe on Yelp and I highly suggest you pay them a visit. I'm still dreaming of all the pastries I didn't get to try.

A quick Yelp check pointed me to this spot a brisk eight-minute walk from Queen Station on Yonge, and I'm so glad I made the detour instead of heading to one of my usual haunts. I was seated immediately. The place has lots of seating -- high tops, tables and booths -- and a cool, eclectic vibe: comfy chairs, interesting wall photos, eggshell light fixtures and cheerful yolk‑yellow and orange tones. Big glass windows make it a fun people‑watching spot, and the open kitchen lets you see the cooks hustling away. I ordered the classic breakfast (just over $18): two scrambled eggs -- soft and perfect -- plus herb potatoes fried in beef tallow (I swapped those for lightly dressed artisan greens). You choose your protein -- bacon, Canadian bacon, rosemary ham, chicken, or pork bangers -- and I went with the hardwood‑smoked bacon: three perfectly cooked slices. Coffee was ethically sourced, and my mochaccino hit the sweet spot -- not too sugary. All in all 10 out of 10. I plan to try their gluten free waffle next time. Extras worth noting: they offer booze, smoothies, juices, and a $4.75 "coffee bump" (1 oz of Irish cream, Kahlúa, whiskey, bourbon, brandy, or Grand Marnier). Eggs are free‑run. Service was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable -- got me in and out without feeling rushed, back at my desk before 1 pm. I'll definitely be back -- next time with friends so I have an excuse to order everything on the menu. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a well‑made, comforting breakfast-anytime (and possibly a legal excuse for a midday coffee bump).
