Located off the corner of Redondo Beach Blvd and Normandie in Gardena. Parking is shared with all the other businesses in the center. This place used to be the Korean chicken place that was here for a while. You place your order off the kiosk there are two of them. The staff was nice and helpful with the kiosk. Since this place is busy I can see why they did the kiosk thing. I ordered the bacon egg sandwich it was good and messy lol. Prices are on the higher end. Service was pretty fast. Normally I wouldn't notice a spot with fewer than 100 Yelp reviews but this place was recommended to me as a decent competitor to the more commonly known Eggslut (which I personally have not tried). The closest thing that I'd say we have in NorCal is Egghead Sando Cafe, where I've had some good and some less good experiences. Walking into the restaurant, everything felt so clean. I was impressed to see a lot of people inside given that there isn't a considerable number of Yelp reviews. We placed our order at the kiosk and sat down at an available table. I shared one avo egg signature sandwich with my cousin since we both aren't big breakfast people. I loved how the sandwich came in a little cardboard boat to keep all the eggs intact. The bread wasn't cut through all the way, which left the last few bites lacking in egg, but it was a very rich breakfast choice and a fun thing to try at least once. I wouldn't say that the price point reflects value especially given that the avo egg doesn't come with meat, but it's again a fun thing to try at least once. They make the best eggs here! So soft & fluffy, they melt in your mouth! You can get them on a sandwich, in a burrito or on tater tots. I didn't know this place existed, but I'm glad I found it! I've only picked up food here but I really love their egg sandwiches. I first had this type of egg sandwich in Seoul and these were exactly the same. I usually just order the regular egg sandwich with nothing else. I've tried some of the other ones but I just love the egg and feel that it doesn't need anything else to make it better (except maybe a little hot sauce). There was a little snafu during my last takeout order where the staff told me someone had already picked up my order. I'm not sure what happened there but I appreciated that they fixed the issue immediately. The staff member let who I assume is a supervisor know and she immediately let the kitchen staff re-prepare my order and offered a beverage while my order was being re-made. She also kept me updated on how much longer it would be throughout the process which I greatly appreciated. The first time I had it, it was okay, I think the menu ordering online through yelp is different from the menu in person. The menu on yelp is limited to vegans to just a vegan breakfast burrito, but in person there's more toppings such as their new plant based steak. On the last day of our vacation and stopped here on our way to LAX. This location is easy to find with ample parking. There are two screens where you place your order and they call you when the food is ready. We got the avocado egg sandwich, a burrito, fluffy egg tots, and New Orleans cold brew. Everything was delicious! The eggs were fluffy and flavorful. The egg tots were awesome. My only critique is I was expecting the avocado to be more like a spread but it was literally half an avocado stuffed into the sandwich which made it hard to eat.
