Found this spot on Yelp while looking for a quick lunch, and I'm glad I gave it a try. It's tucked away in a small shopping center with a no-frills vibe, but don't let that fool you. The staff was incredibly friendly and walked me through how to build my sandwich, which I appreciated as a first-time customer. I ordered the Blazin' Cajun sandwich and substituted the protein with the golden turkey. Great choice--the sandwich was packed with meat and toppings. The portions are generous. I only ate half for lunch and saved the other half for later, and it was just as good. If you're looking for a solid, satisfying sandwich without all the fuss, this place is definitely worth checking out. I'll be back to try another combination. read more

I enjoy mikes deli & ive seen them advertised on tiktok as a better option. I ordered a cajun turkey sandwich TOASTED with pepper jack cheese. The food & veggies were fresh BUT they failed on the TOASTED part .... when I stated it wasnt toasted the owner made me aware he could see the marks on the bread, unfortunately the cheese was still solid & the meat was cold. I drove from Gardena to LA and the cheese was still WHOLE not a bit melted. I dont see why it couldnt be toasted again but The food quality if you are in the southbay is definitely up to par & they serve non dairy smoothies which earned them the three stars read more

My daughter actually saw Yo Way on TikTok, and we knew we had to come check it out. I am so glad we did! I ordered the "Turkey Tussle" and was extremely satisfied with my purchase, it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor. Today, I experienced Yo-Way Eatery for the first but definitely not the last time. The deliciousness that is Pops Italian...yeah. This was one of, if not, the BEST sandwiches I've ever had. I'm definitely looking forward to making my way through their menu. I was greeted the moment I stepped through the door and the cashier was very helpful explaining the ordering process, which was very easy. My sandwich was ready in no time with fresh, delicious ingredients. My sandwich was definitely worth the price. The size of the sandwich was very generous. I ate half for lunch and look forward to eating the rest later. If I wasn't so full from the first half, I would have eaten it all. This is definitely my new go to sandwich spot. read more

LOVE a big fat juicy sandwich. The person working there was also very friendly and gave us lots of context regarding the food. Small parking lot shared with a liquor store. My friend Introduced me to Yo-Way Eatery today. David and his son Devon warmly greeted us and walked us through how they do things. I planned to snap a Pic of my sandwich but before I knew it, I only had about 4 or 5 bites remaining. The service was so good. They greeted us immediately, engaged us in conversation and walked us thru the ordering process. And, in this way-too expensive world we're living in, I definitely got my money's worth. Ordered a quick lunch for pick up. l ordered a chicken salad sandwich, it was made exactly how I ordered it, appreciate that. Portion is definitely good, saved my other half for later. Very courteous employees, was greeted at entrance and food was ready. Friends got a grilled cheese sandwich and the other Western chicken sandwich. Both said it was a good sandwich. I went here on a Saturday after doing a search on Yelp for a good sandwich. When I walked in, I was greeted by the very friendly owner. I asked what he recommended. He said the pastrami never disappoints. So I got that for my husband with double meat. Since I prefer poultry, I got myself a Western chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches were delicious. I'll take pictures next time. The bread was really fresh. Meat was plentiful. I will definitely go back and try other sandwiches. What a hidden gem! Came in after running errands for lunch, and they were so nice. The sandwiches are BOMB!! We had the #3 and #9. Let me tell just from the bread alone these are the best sandwiches in town. The ingredients are fresh and the crew working there are still incredibly friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough. Yo Way Eatery makes hands-down the best sandwiches I've ever had. My favorite is the Blazing Cajun, and when I add pastrami it takes it over the top. I usually get it on squaw bread, but today I switched it up and tried the cranberry walnut, and it blew me away. The flavors worked together perfectly. My mother & I drove from Anaheim to try this place!!! WOW this place is AMAZING!!! First of all, the vibe was very welcoming. We were greeted by staff when we entered and instructed on how to order. By the way, I love the ordering process! They use top quality meats, and fresh veggies on their sandwiches! The cookies in front were also bomb and fresh! I loveee a good sandwich. My terrible picture doesn't do this sandwich the justice it deserves. 10/10. You can find Yo Way located at the end of a small little strip mall in a very unassuming locale. The workers were so helpful and friendly and delivered great quality food in a timely manner. To order you just pop in, grab one of the reusable menus and a marker and either choose a premade sandwich you want and customize it by crossing out what you don't, and adding what you do, OR you can totally customize one using the other sheet. You can also get a salad and smoothies too. I definitely plan on going back and trying other sandwiches and the Mango Smoothie too! read more

MUST TRY YO-WAY EATERY First time told David make what you would eat and the guy made an amazing sandwich with a marble toast bread, spicy, such a great fresh sandwich. You just gotta go try. I think this is my new favorite sandwich shop! Not only was it 10 mins away from the house the gentleman making the sandwiches was so friendly & he hooked these sandwiches up! Ordering was unique, you grab a menu and an expo marked and mark away. Several sandwich options OR you can make your own. I went with the options and just asked for no mayo. My favorite was the Blazin Cajun! The sandwiches WERE HUGE! I had one half for dinner and then the other half the following day. I do advise eating them same day though bread was a wee bit soggy the following day (but I didn't mind). They had a bunch of chip and drink options. My parents and sis also go in on the sandwich action, they enjoy it as well. Definitely recommend 20/10! read more

It was super soft and fatty and ended with a heavy pleasant fishy flavor. The miso grilled cod was great. Not much to say about it was almost creamy and the miso was good. I ate the skin too and it tasted great. The main part of this place is the soba. The kikouchi soba are thicker 100% buckwheat noodles that were very well cooked and pleasant to eat. The Plum "Ume" broth was so refreshing and nice. I ate it cold; I probably would have preferred it hot but the is just a personal preference. The Ginger Pork was great. The pork itself was super gingery without being too pungent. The shredded cabbage was super easy to pick up and eat and the side of noodle salad and miso soup were great complements to the meal. I can tell no corners were cut anywhere and that Otafuku puts a little of effort into every meal they prepare. There is great care for all of the preparations and it was a very special meal. I felt like I was in Japan for a second as the feel of the restaurant is very "homey" and the ambiance is a nice cheerful atmosphere.

The Cajun turkey and Poppin' Pastrami sandwiches I have tried were both outstanding. The restaurant serves premium meats alongside crisp vegetables and perfectly toasted bread in each of their sandwiches. The "build-your-own" format at this establishment provides customers with extensive freedom to customize their orders, which they fulfill perfectly according to customer preferences. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to inconsistent hours. The restaurant had already closed at 4:30 PM on Saturday despite the online hours and sign indicating they would stay open until 5 PM. The late afternoon closure does not ruin my experience, but it is important to remember when planning your visit. You should visit earlier during the day to ensure you can get your sandwich. How does this place has 5 stars??? I truly cannot comprehend! Mind boggling if you actually take a step back and analyze it!! The owner always has some excuse about why it's taking so long to get an order! The customer service is beyond disgusting. The older woman whom works there, I presume his wife for she argues with customers, cuts them off in mid-sentence, and refuses to make an order when enraged, is by far the rudest! Furthermore, she can't even use the register properly! Yet the owner allows this type of treatment and still expects customers to return?? 45 minutes for a sandwich and you can't even get the cheese right? Moreover, I've never seen them wash their hands. There is no way you get over 700 pretty much all 5 star if there is anything bad about it.. so I stopped by and sure enough I was right! The owner welcomed me and he was very friendly! He asked my name and shook my hand to make it a very personalized experience. I ordered the Cajun Turkey with avocado and bacon add-on. It was delicious and FRESH! You could totally feel the quality of the ingredients! It gave me the joy and feeling of eating healthy! So all the reviews are legit and they are right! This place is damn good! I will definitely go back but next time I wouldn't add bacon! Wow - what an AMAZING gem I found while heading home from a long day of work. This spot is perfect for a quick, adorable, and DELICIOUS sandwich. They have a variety of their own sandwich creations, but you can also build your own. They also have super soft and delicious local cookies (vegan options, too!). I tried calling the number 424-227-0352 on May 10th, but the business was a private residence. I drove by the address on May 10th, but no one answered. Finally, someone answered on May 14th at the phone number. They informed me that they were out of town and had to confirm my order. I told them that I had my bank representative on the line to file a dispute and that I would like a refund because I didn't feel comfortable with the situation. Unfortunately, they were a no-show for May 16th. As a result, I am disputing the charge with my bank. This business has been unprofessional and disappointing. I can't believe how they handled the situation.
