I've been here twice now and I already know that as a sandwich connoisseur- it will be in my go to rotation. I can only speak for the pops Italian sandwich but it's up in the running for best sandwich I've ever had. You'll be shaking your head in disbelief, ya it's one of those bites! David provides amazing service and is friendly, welcoming and personable. Not to mention makes a killer sandwich.

Great customer service. Nice variety on the menu. I tried the chicken salad sandwich and banana pudding.

Ordered a quick lunch for pick up. l ordered a chicken salad sandwich, it was made exactly how I ordered it, appreciate that. Portion is definitely good, saved my other half for later. Very courteous employees, was greeted at entrance and food was ready. Friends got a grilled cheese sandwich and the other Western chicken sandwich. Both said it was a good sandwich. I realized they have Boar's head products so I will for sure be coming back to try another sandwich. Although they have some seating, it's definitely moreso of a pick up and go place.

The parking lot can get crowded and tight. The sandwich I got was alright the crust on the bread was a bit hard but the deli tasted fresh. They played the radio talking about politics and that was awkward while we were waiting for my order. Didn't enjoy that atmosphere!

Amazing sandwiches and the workers were super friendly. I definitely recommend coming here if you're craving some good sandwiches. Everything was fresh and the sandwiches were massive.

My mother & I drove from Anaheim to try this place!!! WOW this place is AMAZING!!! First of all, the vibe was very welcoming. We were greeted by staff when we entered and instructed on how to order. By the way, I love the ordering process! They use top quality meats, and fresh veggies on their sandwiches! The cookies in front were also bomb and fresh! I loveee a good sandwich. This place would definitely put all these big sandwich corporations out of business!!! Come and support this small business!!! The whole time we were there... people were coming in to order. That right there speaks for itself... especially in this economy! Lol Also, the prices are very reasonable. Thank you to the gentleman who gave us this sweet treat!! We will definitely be back!!!

My terrible picture doesn't do this sandwich the justice it deserves. 10/10. You can find Yo Way located at the end of a small little strip mall in a very unassuming locale. The workers were so helpful and friendly and delivered great quality food in a timely manner. To order you just pop in, grab one of the reusable menus and a marker and either choose a premade sandwich you want and customize it by crossing out what you don't, and adding what you do, OR you can totally customize one using the other sheet. You can also get a salad and smoothies too. I definitely plan on going back and trying other sandwiches and the Mango Smoothie too!

Blazin Cajun & Pops Italian

What an amazing sandwich shop! I'm a new resident in Compton and I'm so happy we found this little gem close by. Owner was friendly and hooked these sandwiches UP! Blazin Cajun was fire - add on Avocado & Bacon a must!!! Pops Italian was packed & delicious! Lots of parking, Yo-Way is behind the Liquor store. Google maps might detour you but trust me it's worth the visit!

I think this is my new favorite sandwich shop! Not only was it 10 mins away from the house the gentleman making the sandwiches was so friendly & he hooked these sandwiches up! Ordering was unique, you grab a menu and an expo marked and mark away. Several sandwich options OR you can make your own. I went with the options and just asked for no mayo. My favorite was the Blazin Cajun! The sandwiches WERE HUGE! I had one half for dinner and then the other half the following day. I do advise eating them same day though bread was a wee bit soggy the following day (but I didn't mind). They had a bunch of chip and drink options. My parents and sis also go in on the sandwich action, they enjoy it as well. Definitely recommend 20/10!

There is a reason why this place has 1k reviews with 4.8 stars. It's not only the food but the customer service, the energy , positive vibes, great people, and David I think was the owner great guy. MUST TRY YO-WAY EATERY First time told David make what you would eat and the guy made an amazing sandwich with a marble toast bread, spicy, such a great fresh sandwich. You just gotta go try. Wish they had a spot in Burbank or close by Burbank.

Handel's Homemade Ice Cream - Redondo Beach…read more Honestly, I can't say enough good things about this place, it's one of my favorites. I especially love the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream, which is always delicious. One of the reasons I prefer this Redondo Beach location is their generous portions. They also allow you to choose two different flavors on a sugar cone, which some other locations (like Glendale) do not allow, they require the same flavor. That flexibility definitely makes a difference. Parking is plentiful, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is nice since you're enjoying your ice cream outdoors. Overall, it's a great spot, and I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

I only completed the purchase because I had promised my kids ice cream, but the overall experience was disrespectful, unprofessional, and felt discriminatory. I would not recommend this place, especially for families.

One thing was immediately clear: everyone was ordering the snowstorm. Most people seemed to go with either the matcha or the original, though they also had other flavors like sesame. Naturally we followed the crowd and ordered the matcha. It's matcha soft serve topped with chestnuts, and it turned out to be a great little pre-dinner snack -- creamy, earthy, and not overly sweet. What surprised me most was that they carry different types of chestnuts. I preferred the smaller ones, which were softer, more moist, and sweeter. The larger ones were firmer, but you can buy them already peeled, which honestly feels like a luxury if you've ever battled chestnut shells before. It's a quirky specialty shop, but a fun one to browse. And judging by the number of snowstorms coming out of the kitchen, that's clearly the move here.

Hisaya Kyoto specializes in all things chestnuts, including soft serve chestnuts, and chestnut baked goodies. I came on a hot day and got their vanilla and chestnut soft serve on a cone. It had some sweetened chestnuts inside which was really nice. It came out hot and went well with the ice cream. They also have cookies, donuts, and a variety of ice creams as well. They also have drinks like their chestnut milk too. For soft serve they have their fuji soft serves which comes with toppings. I want to come back to try their other items. The people behind the counter wasn't the friendliest and out items took awhile. The inside is small and casual and not really anywhere to sit. But they do have seating outside. There is plenty of parking since it is on a strip mall.

I am sure, dear reader, that you are aware that some people pronounce the word data like data, and…read morenot like data. this same concept is true when we consider the business name of Handel's. I thought it was pronounced Handel's like a last name should be, but a security guard, who I asked for directions to get to this place, called it Handel's like one calls the things one grips in bikes. Which is the correct way of saying it? I leave that up to you dear reader, as well as what ice cream flavor you want, and whether you want this ice cream in a cone or bowl, or made into a milkshake. However you take your ice cream I will say that you will likely enjoy it more in the resting place that Manhattan beach offers. As my pictures show, I took my ice cream (which was in a waffle cone, witha chocolate rim, decorated with peanuts for some extra light crunch) and I enjoyed it in a bonfire that I did not have to light. In the background, the Nice to Meet you song by Miles Smith gently wafting in the background. The gentle breeze, the notes around, the taste of damn good ice cream, all conspired to help me feel relaxed in place and mood. Thus, if one wants Handel's and also a place to sit that feels right for ice cream, the Manhattan Village one offers all that, at least it did for me. This Handel's is not a walk-in brick location. it is a window. The person who helped us out on this day was Jasmine, and of course her service was princess like. For instance, she showed me the difference between milkshake sizes and the difference between them is significant to the point where a large one can serve two. View the pictures and I invite you to disagree, if one can. Their ice cream selection is lengthy, and creative, and considerate--- they have sugar free and vegan options. So they have a large and ample array of flavors that will satisfy most if not all sweet tooths. I wanted to take the time to celebrate this Handel's for its location because the environment created the ice cream experience. So it was not the cherry on the top, it was the cone, that supported the ice cream.
