I usually buy my juices from this donut shop, but unfortunately, Jenny's repeated rude behavior has made me stop coming here. When I recently called to place an order for two juices, she answered, heard me speak, kept saying "hello," and then hung up. When I called back, it sounded like the phone had been left off the hook. This was not the first uncomfortable interaction. On another occasion, I walked in to order juice, and instead of greeting me, the first thing Jenny said in a rude tone was, "Next time, call." She also looked visibly annoyed. I didn't mind waiting and would have understood if she had simply explained that the juices would take a few minutes. I've also witnessed customers waiting a long time without being acknowledged, even though the employees clearly saw them. Some eventually walked out because no one took their order. I really liked this place and its juices, but customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience. If juices are advertised and sold here, customers shouldn't be treated badly for ordering them. Better customer service and a more respectful attitude are definitely needed. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back or recommending this place to others. read more

Stopped by this gem after getting picked up from work with some family. Immediately liked the place. I got a croissant ham,cheese, jalapeno: Have yet to reach the jalapeno but it's good! The bread is full and the cheese melts in your mouth. I order a banana boba but she misheard me and made a Vanilla boba wanted that banana but im not mad about it! The vanilla tastes as if it as a hint of a coffee bean flavor, very delicious! We all love our orders. We also got a donut deal for getting boba. We've deemed this place our new spot for whenever we come up north. The woman seemed to be the only one working. Hopefully solo shifts become less for her bc right after we came in, a line eventually formed, and it was three of us ordering together. Much better experience than my last visit. Didn't have to put up with someone trying to keep a tip by shorting me of my change. I wish their selection of donuts was better at 10 PM. Very few choices and none of our first choices. Well, we made the best of it. We ordered a couple of mochas that were okay but a bit overpriced. Kind of like the ones you get at gas stations from the machine but 25% more expensive. Anyway, it's not what it used to be but it is regaining a bit of its old mojo. Food is affordable and my favorite item is the tuna sandwich on croissant. You can choose to be healthy and order my fav fresh beet, carrot and apple juice or completely pig out and get some yummy fresh donuts or taro boba slushy. ( just gave you my 3 favorite items!) Honestly I don't usually give donut shops 5 stars but this one seriously has everything in a huge variety. They have drinks(a lot of them, more than any other donut shop I've see ). They have a huge selection of donuts. They have sandwiches(breakfast and lunch). They have chips and snacks and gum. Their juices are nice and freshly squeezed in front of you. Donuts are light and fresh and have a crunch which shows they are fresh. They're SuPEr clean. I mean to the point that they were mopping at noon. Will be back. Soon. read more

Donut shops shouldn't have hierarchies, but if they did, Rainbow Donuts would be at the top. As you can see in the picture--left being Rainbow vs right being an unnamed donut shop--Rainbow donuts reign supreme. They are fluffy, flavorful, and luscious. If I still had the chocolate to compare, you would also see that the appearance of the donut is more luscious and plump as well. I've been going here since childhood, and they've been a trusty spot ever since, with super low prices. Two Thai iced teas on ice (not blended) and two donuts (one chocolate with sprinkles, and one pink frosting). Great mom and pop doughnut spot and they are open 24/7! The doughnuts are bomb but even better is their omelette with avocado in a croissant with banana peppers (custom order)! Came in to get a donut and a Thai Tea. Rainbow donuts has posters all over their walls with different sandwich options, including breakfast options. What caught my attention were the low carb breakfast sandwiches. I know, I know... low carb in a donut shop.. lol, but it turned out to be delicious. It's pretty much like an omelet, but with some cheese and avocado in the center. There are other options, including some with bacon. I'm sure those are delicious as well. The Thai Tea was pretty good. I didn't try the boba, so im not sure how they taste. Other options available in here are smoothies and natural fruit juices. They have a juice maker so it you want a freshly squeezed juice, come on down. The service was friendly and they take cards, which is a plus. Most smaller donut shops are cash only so this is great. The only reason I give them 4 and not 5 stars is because they didn't seem to have a big donut selection in comparison to other small donut shops. Maybe I just went at a time when most were sold out. I'm from New York so I'm used to having those late night bodegas in almost every corner open super late and this is the only gem I found close to that in LA. Our favorite go-to donut spot since moving to the So Bay almost 3 years ago. Even with the busy AM orders, they're quick and efficient. Their donuts are also tasty; not too doughy like other places. The prices are also reasonable, even with the current economic state. They have a wide array of food items in addition to donuts, ie breakfast sandwiches and even boba. If you order an iced coffee, you get a "free" donut ha ha! Every time I order donuts for guests or coworkers, they say it's good, too! Customer service is great! I see them engaging with regular customers and knowing their orders. Newer folks like I was once, they were polite said hello. Once, my lil one dropped her donut and they replaced it for free; that was kind. They also have dine-in tables that we take advantage of time to time. I love this place! Soo many options!! They have something here for everyone! Breakfast sandwiches, omlettes, burgers, fresh pressed veggie juices, fresh pressed oj, smoothies, bagels, chips, assorted noodles, candy, doughnuts of course! I personally love the fact they have the lo-carb option for sandwiches instead of bread they use fluffy eggs as the outer portion the inside comes with your choice of ham, bacon and cheese, or sausage, egg, and cheese. They also have veggie options! The prices are pretty reasonable the lo-carb sandwhich i get is 5 bucks but its beyond filling and taste soo much better than McDonald's and even Denny's.
