DONT COME HERE RUDE! The cashier was very understanding and polite, but the guy making the drinks was completely rude and lacked any customer service skills. Having an allergy is something serious -- I've been to other Jamba Juice locations where they've been accommodating and careful. This time, I simply asked for a substitution due to my allergy, and you would've thought I was making his life miserable just by asking. There wasn't even a line -- the store was empty -- yet he acted like helping me was too much of a burden. Everyone has long days, I get it -- I work in customer service too -- but that's no excuse for being rude or dismissive. If you can't handle basic courtesy or empathy for a customer with allergies, maybe you shouldn't be making drinks at all. Came to this Jamba to try it out. Customer service was fine. I tried doing my order on the app and it jumped + $4 dollars so I decided to wait and go inside. I ordered a juice, nothing fancy. When I asked for a military discount I was let know that the " FRANCHISE MANAGER" decided to discontinue that, wow, very patriotic. I can't say I'm a fan, but I have tried a few of their drinks. What stood out for me, though, were their pineapple/strawberry/banana blended drinks. It's been years, I'll admit, and one day, I had to pick up an order from the Hawaiian place next door. Took a quick glance inside this place and, "Eh. Why not..." Aloha pineapple it is! The last time I had a drink with that sort of combo didn't bear the same name but this had the flavors I prefer. It was tart and sweet and creamy. Definitely a refreshing drink of choice on a warm/hot SoCal day. Both staff and customers were respectful about the whole social distancing thing. The place is pretty small, so it could have been a bit of a challenge. All customers who knew they had a wait were considerate and stepped outside and waited until the number of people inside decreased. I also see they sorta expanded their menu (açaí bowl options?) Jamba Juice has been a go to place for my daughter since she was a baby. She is 15 now and this location is trash. The past 3 times she has tried to order an açaí bowl the employees claim they "don't have the ingredients" or tonight 11/25/24 at 7:50pm the employee said they are "waiting for the fresh ingredients in the morning". I worked there in high school and I grew up in Gardena and we were all about customer service. If you simply don't want to make the bowl then take it off the menu and stop wasting people's time. Management needs to step up!!! As a former Jamba (2000-2002) employee this store seems to really be struggling. We ordered three smoothies on app. Two were ready on time . But we waited almost 20 minutes to get the last one. They had to make the soy milk ‍. Stock up, prep, and communicate with one another. Low energy, no uniforms (Between 3 employees there), poor food safety and cleanliness awareness. Register worker had no uniform, was scratching his head and face, preparing baked goods with no gloves, hands inside of bags, and not washing his hands. Leads and staff need coaching when guests sit time is too long, store needs attention, and overall supplies and store management. read more

Wow, where do I start! This is the worst experience that I have had at a business in my life! no exaggeration! Such a toxic staff and it is obvious that it starts from leadership! Over the weekend I am visiting my niece in LA, she orders online. We go to pick up the order at the time that we were told it would be ready. While we are in the parking lot they call to say that they were out of granola for the bowl that we ordered and we can cancel the order or that we can order something else. My niece says, we are already here so we can just order something else. We aren't even bothered at this point, it was no biggie. This is where things shift to a 'Shh show". The phone call was way more difficult than it should've been. So we order a small white gummy and 2 fast wraps. The person on the phone taking the order says, I can give you a large and you can pay for the wrap. My niece says no thanks, I want a small and I will pay for the wrap, WHATS THE DIFFERENCE? (MEANING DIFFERENCE IN PRICE) The person taking the order was obviously irritated by this. She put us o hold for at least 8 minutes (no exaggeration) to come back and say the difference is 11 cents. My niece goes inside to pay the 11 cents. After waiting another 10 minutes I text her to ask what is taking so long, she said that they are literally ignoring her, then passing her off to each other to only find out that her order was not even put in the system. Obviously playing high school mean girl games. We left a customer experience survey online and the manager Maria responds with an email that looked like it was written by an 8th grader and instead of apologizing for the experience at the very least she accused my niece of being disrespectful to her staff and said it wasn't their fault that she was hungry!! Wait a minute what?? This entire experience could have been avoided with "sorry that we don't have what you ordered, lets make it right. Instead they instigated, escalated and created a hostile and unnecessary experience by leaving us on an extended hold (obviously intentionally), not acknowledging the customer in the store (intentionally) passing the customer around in a small little smoothie shop (intentionally) then not even placing the order (intentionally). While in the store they were whispering and saying little comments. Just miserable people. The staff is a direct reflection of leadership and the unprofessionalism reflected just that of their Manager Maria. We have asked for a contact number for a district manager or anyone higher up than Maria to share our experience and have been refused each time. There is some much needed management development that should take place. If anyone higher up from this company reads these reviews please reach out, review the video footage from that day. You will see that no one went behind the counter, how long we were on hold, how long it was before my niece was ever acknowledged and you will also see that the manager was no where in sight to even honestly make the accusation that she did! We did get a second email from another manager Joanna. It was professional and honestly the start of deescalating a nasty and AVOIDABLE situation! I saw some new items on the menu and wanted more information, and the cashier took their time explaining the ingredients while offering some suggestions. I learned something new when ordering (requesting substitutions) and, amazingly enough, my drink turned out the way I wanted it too! The only concern I had with the location is the space looks empty and kinda deserted. If you're walking by, the seating section looks empty and neglected. I haven't had Jamba Juice since 2004 solely because most of their drinks are made with banana--I'm not allergic, but the taste of banana makes me nauseous. I came in on a lark with my husband, he got the Apples and Greens smoothie and I got the Strawberry Whirl(?), I just subbed out more strawberries for the banana. The girl behind the counter took the time to double check if I was allergic to ensure I wouldn't go into anaphylactic shock due to residual contact with bananas in the smoothie base and offered to go into the back, which was really sweet of her considering we came in an hour before closing and shows that she's on top of her game and diligent--I really appreciated that, even if the concern didn't apply to me. Looking at the one star that it currently has I don't think this review will matter. After working my stressful shift as a nurse I hit the gym and had a taste for a bowl. I ordered ahead since I was super tired and hungry. Upon arriving I was told that they were waiting on me (my phone number was added with the order). They were out of all the base of the bowls. (#1) I'm not sure why they couldn't call me. I was offered a bake good. Declined! I just went to the gym. I stated that I wanted my money back. I was then told that the manager was not there and it would take 5 business days for me to get a refund. After that I canceled my entire order. I ordered other things for my kids. #2 the website should be able to tell when items are out of stock. Train your employee to call and let the customers Know that the items are out of stock before people drive to the location. There is no way that you can take my money in two seconds but I have to wait five days before I get my money back when you are the one who was Out of supplies. read more
