Pressed Freeze has been my healthy alternative to ice cream ever since I got cut from the Varsity basketball team my junior year of high school and started watching what I put in my beautiful meatsuit. Turns out a diet of hot dogs, french fries, and vanilla ice cream was not very conducive to being an elite level athlete...... but I did still have some wiggle if we are being honest... I was like a Mexican Raymond Felton out there. I have been coming to this location for years after a meal at True Food, North Italia, Mendo, or Little Sister as it is a small stand in the middle of the Point. Yesterday, we came after going to Tocaya and I have never needed a palate cleanser more in my life. Idk what happened to Tocaya but they really fell off. They had such a crazy run from like 2016-2018 and then just lost their soul. Idk how else to explain it. Like a bubble TJ Warren. My order is always a large vanilla in a cup with strawberries, blueberries, sliced almonds, and the almond butter drizzle. The almond butter drizzle will actually change your life, let me inspire you. I honestly don't know if the Pressed Freezes are actually healthy though, I've never done the research. They are always suspiciously delicious. In my head, they just run their vanilla juice through a little soft serve machine and maybe add ice, possibly a little natural sweetner? At this point, ignorance is bliss. I really don't want to know. Not gonna lie, this açaí bowl was BOMB! Incredibly fresh ingredients and very tasty. Pressed is located in a small kiosk style location in front of the Yeti store. It's next to the grassy play area. Our kids were playing in that area when my daughter said she wanted an açaí bowl. She loves the açaí bowls. The place is tiny but super clean and organized. You can order bowl option of choice and modify toppings as desired. We got the Açaí Original Bowl. The açaí was firm and creamy. Topped with fresh sliced bananas, blueberries, diced strawberries, granola and agave. I tried a bite and immediately fell in love with this açaí bowl. The granola is so dang good. Lots of flavor and super crunch which gives the bowl great texture. The fruit was just a hint of sweetness and so fresh. I am not kidding when I say that after my daughter got this, her cousins, aunts, grandparents all decided to get an açaí bowl too. Like an additional 6 orders after hers. I signed up for the Pressed rewards. Honestly, I should have had all our family members put in my reward number so we could get credit for future rewards. Lol. Soooooo good ya'll. They also sell other goodies including chocolate/vanilla freeze with choice of toppings, fresh packaged pressed juices, juice recipe cookbook and protein snacks.

I love Pressed for juices and shots but unfortunately their açaí bowls are a no for me. This was the first time I've seen açaí being dispensed by a slushie machine. Was interesting at first but I would rather have my açaí blended on the spot. The texture is softer here and a little sweeter than I would like. The upside was the toppings were really good! I'll just stick with juices from now on.

First time ever trying out an açaí bowl from Pressed. I thoroughly enjoyed it because of the quality of the food. I ordered the Organic Bowl and it was delicious. If it's your first time here I'd highly recommend you order the Original Bowl. Check them out.

So grateful that I found this place! Recently I had to go on a very healthy but restrictive diet - Pressed Juicery allows me to have a healthy treat without the guilt! When I walked in to check the place out the ladies behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. They didn't mind answering my questions and I loved that they know exactly what ingredients were in their food (can't say that about most places). I decided to go with the chocolate freeze and almonds. I was elated to find out that the freeze is naturally sweetened with dates! It was delicious! Not too sweet and definitely satisfying! It was recommended to download the app- I did and received a free Wellness Shot plus now I'm signed up to accumulate Pressed Points to get deals and treats later!

I have been a big fan of The Point in El Segundo ever since it's opened. I've tried every restaurant there and have enjoyed visiting them all. I've also visited and shopped at a variety of their stores. When I heard about Pressed Juicery, I was so excited to have another new place open up. I was also quite eager to try their version of healthy ice cream via The Freeze. The Freeze comes in the following flavors: greens, citrus, fruit, roots, and vanilla or chocolate almond and in two sizes: a 4 oz with no toppings for $4.95 or 3 toppings for $5.95 and a o8 oz with no toppings $6.50 or with toppings $7.50. I tried a 4 oz with vanilla and greens and topped with shaved almonds, strawberries and granola! I liked it a lot and was impressed how everything was made out of all natural ingredients. It's an awesome healthy treat. The 3 toppings enhanced the vanilla and greens even more. I loved the granola. The creamy sweetness of the freeze paired well with the fruity strawberries and the shaved almonds and granola gave that nice crunch effect. Who knew healthy could be so good! You can get your veggies, fruits and dairy all in one healthy delicious treat. I was ready to give this place four stars because I really enjoyed The Freeze but I was little disappointed reading the other reviews saying they were offered a special promo for The Freeze for a $1. I came when it first opened and paid the regular price...no big deal but just wondering how some folks got the special $1 price. Anyways it's a good place but do wish for more consistency on the pricing and customer service.

    So good

First of all Jonathan needs a raise. Second of all, Jonathan deserves to be promoted. Third of all, I love Jonathan. I've been coming to pressed juicery el segundo for 2 years now and never have I been treated with so much genuine kindness. He keeps it real, and deserves the world. Sincerely, the girls who were singing YMCA

This quaint little juicery in the middle of the Point in El Segundo is worth a visit. I'm not a huge fan of juices in general (lots of sugar in fruit) but I have tried a taste of their "Citrus 2" which is on the sweeter side but very refreshing and good! I actually prefer their creative non-dairy freeze. I tried the strawberry and chocolate flavors which were both excellent. It's not your typical frozen yogurt -- in fact it's not yogurt at all! Ingredients include beets, cacao and dates. Very interesting. I'd come here again for the freeze. Staff was super helpful and friendly both times I visited.

Anyway- I came because a friend was raving about Salt and Straw and swore by it. Said it was the best ice cream in the world and I had to try. He said I had to have the salted caramel. I am not a huge ice cream person but I do enjoy some once in a while. I've tried Brusters and Handel's and I think they're overhyped. Of course I've had Baskin Robbin's, Thrifty's, Dreyers, Haagen-Dazs and so far HD is my favorite - until today. I had the salted caramel ribbon and I was totally blown away. I LOVED the vanilla ice cream and texture. I thought the caramel was incredible. I had never had ice cream as delicious as this. I called my boyfriend right away because he IS a big ice cream person and I had him choose a couple flavor pints I could take to him. He chose rum raisin and hazelnut cookie. I brought home a salted caramel pint for him to try too. Oh my gosh. We're going to try those together later and I will follow up with another review. So excited. They also have the best waffle cone I've ever had.

Some of the flavors are honestly really good and creative, but a few feel a bit over the top or just not something you'd want in ice cream. It's more of an experience place than somewhere I'd go when I just want a simple scoop. It's also on the pricier side, but that's expected for the type of shop it is. Overall, I'd say it's worth trying at least once, especially if you like adventurous desserts...but it might not be everyone's everyday ice cream spot.

I am sure, dear reader, that you are aware that some people pronounce the word data like data, and…read morenot like data. this same concept is true when we consider the business name of Handel's. I thought it was pronounced Handel's like a last name should be, but a security guard, who I asked for directions to get to this place, called it Handel's like one calls the things one grips in bikes. Which is the correct way of saying it? I leave that up to you dear reader, as well as what ice cream flavor you want, and whether you want this ice cream in a cone or bowl, or made into a milkshake. However you take your ice cream I will say that you will likely enjoy it more in the resting place that Manhattan beach offers. As my pictures show, I took my ice cream (which was in a waffle cone, witha chocolate rim, decorated with peanuts for some extra light crunch) and I enjoyed it in a bonfire that I did not have to light. In the background, the Nice to Meet you song by Miles Smith gently wafting in the background. The gentle breeze, the notes around, the taste of damn good ice cream, all conspired to help me feel relaxed in place and mood. Thus, if one wants Handel's and also a place to sit that feels right for ice cream, the Manhattan Village one offers all that, at least it did for me. This Handel's is not a walk-in brick location. it is a window. The person who helped us out on this day was Jasmine, and of course her service was princess like. For instance, she showed me the difference between milkshake sizes and the difference between them is significant to the point where a large one can serve two. View the pictures and I invite you to disagree, if one can. Their ice cream selection is lengthy, and creative, and considerate--- they have sugar free and vegan options. So they have a large and ample array of flavors that will satisfy most if not all sweet tooths. I wanted to take the time to celebrate this Handel's for its location because the environment created the ice cream experience. So it was not the cherry on the top, it was the cone, that supported the ice cream.

I especially love the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream, which is always delicious. One of the reasons I prefer this Redondo Beach location is their generous portions. They also allow you to choose two different flavors on a sugar cone, which some other locations (like Glendale) do not allow, they require the same flavor. That flexibility definitely makes a difference. Parking is plentiful, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is nice since you're enjoying your ice cream outdoors.
