When in to find ice cream cake, they didn't have what I was looking for. The young lady behind the counter asked what I wanted. She offered to make me the ice cream cake I wanted! The owner was there and also very nice. He didn't charge any extra for cake. I've been to other Baskin Robins and have never been offered this service. Usually have to drive to different BR to find what I want. Great customer service, staff and owner friendly, store looked organized and clean, well decorated. I come to this BR every once in a while after school with my kids. The service is friendly and the ice cream doesn't disappoint.

The good: We came here and got tbe Dubai chocolate ice cream bar. They're the only BR I know of that bad it. The inside is the nicest BR I've been to. It was clean and less cluttered than the average BR. It also had a shiny silver ice cream casing, mural and neon sign. The girl inside was super friendly and gave my kids each a free pin. The interior was cute with an Alondra Park mural. I liked how many ready-made cakes they had. They even had tiered cakes on display. I've tried three other Dubai chocolate desserts outside of this and this was the worst one. The bad: The ice cream bar was super hard outside because the shell was super thick. The chocolate also didn't taste too good. There's no outdoor seating. The bars were almost $10 each but I understand pistachios and the shredded phyllo dough might be pricey. The interesting: The front had a fake cake display. It was very bright and nice looking but the cakes were a bit dusty. They had a cool Japanese (?) ice cream stand toy on display. read more

I've been going to the nail shop next to this Baskin Robbins for about a year and a half now, but I've only stepped into this Baskin Robbins location a handful of times. My first visit left a bad impression due to poor customer service possibly from the man I assume to be the owner. Because of that, I avoided returning. On a later occasion, I gave it another chance when I had a craving. That time, the customer service was decent, thanks to a younger woman who was working. However, last week experience solidified why I won't return to this location again. After finishing my manicure and pedicure, I was craving ice cream and decided to get a single scoop on a cone. While I was paying, I took a few licks, and the cone suddenly broke in half. One part of the cone was in my hand, while the top part along with all the ice cream fell onto the counter, smearing all over. The cashier, who was also the server, handed me a cup to place the broken cone in. However, at that point, the ice cream had already touched and smeared all over the counter. Why would I continue to eat it after that? Despite this, the cashier didn't offer to replace the ice cream. The man I believe to be the manager walked in and said something in another language to the cashier. I realized later that he was instructing her to give me another cone. However, they weren't offering to replace the entire ice cream cone, just the cone itself. I stood there confused, expecting them to replace both the ice cream and the cone since it wasn't my fault it broke so quickly. When I realized they were only giving me an empty cone, I declined. It made no sense to eat ice cream that had fallen and smeared all over the counter. I expressed this to the manager, but he just gave me a look as if he didn't care. Frustrated, I threw the ruined ice cream in the trash and walked out. This experience completely ruined my craving, and I've decided never to return to this Baskin-Robbins. Maybe it's a sign I should stick to other places like: All Chill, Kansha creamery, good old rite aide/thrifty's, Sweet Rose Creamery or Wanderlust, where I've consistently had better experiences. read more

I went there a few weeks few weeks ago, and an older guy was working the counter. It seemed like he was the owner. He was not friendly or welcoming. Just to verify, this was the BR right across from Alondra Park. Anyway, major communication problem with a new employee. You might want to tell them about the free birthday scoop. I told the girl l wanted my free scoop and in the flavor butter pecan. She gives me 2 scoops, 1 birthday cake & 1 butter pecan on top. No miss, just one scoop. She comes back with the birthday cake scoop. Nevermind, just not what l wanted. I'll take it anyway, but you wait all year for a free Bday scoop & u can't even get the flavor you wanted. You need to explain to your employees that their free birthday scoop is whatever flavor they want, not just the birthday cake flavor. Thanks so much. read more

Either Baskin Robbin's has gone downhill or the manager at this location is terrible. Tried to use my t mobile Tuesday benefit for a buy one get one. I went in with my friend who is on a separate cell phone plan as me and happens to have the same coupon as she also has t mobile. Apparently since we walked in together we can't both use the coupon, so the cashier said he talked to his manager and they basically made up a new policy regarding the coupon that just started today and he couldn't even articulate a sentence. Then told us it's "buy one scoop" and get another free. I will provide a Screenshot of the coupon as that isn't what it says. So not only was the cashier and manager choosing to change what the coupon says, also decided to not honor the coupon. Beware don't come here with friends if you have a coupon. They'll change your coupon out of thin air. Ps my friends went first before all of this and the coupon worked on her two triple scoops. So I'm unsure how it's only 1 scoop. ‍ read more

I am enjoying my double scoop of Nutty Coconut on a sugar cone, as I type this. The previous location was next door and they also had amazingly friendly service and generous portions. The 2 young ladies that worked today were professional and greeted me as they were attending to the large family ahead of me. I appreciated that and wish the credit card receipt allowed tipping on there, as I didn't have cash on hand to tip them. Yall need to be ashamed of yourselves. I should have known better when the man ahead of me purchased a shake and he brought it back complaining that it was watered down and no thickness. ignoring the big Red Flag I decided to order the chocolate dipped ice cream cone with a child scoop of mocha fudge ice cream. ( boy was that a mistake). Now I'm not sure if a child would notice or not, but my ice cream tasted old and for sure my cone was old and stale. This cone tasted like it was on the counter since covid 19 started. To be sure my friend took a few bites and sure enough we both went running to the bathroom. I went to the other Location in Gardena a few times, and I hated it. The last time, I walked right back out. It was always messy/ dirty. Ive gone to this Location in Torrance a couple of timestimesit has a much larger freezer with dozens of ready made cakes and treats. The young ladies there are polite and greet everyone that walks in. It's always clean and tidy.
