Single scoop $4.99?? Double Scoop $7.99? Haven't been here in a while but prices here are super high. I got their double scoop in a cup. They do only put a small ball worth of ice cream. They don't give much ice cream in general for the price you pay. I rather go to Handels or buy large container at a grocery store for cheaper. Other than the price, ice cream is good and offers a good selection of ice cream. They also offer sundaes, cakes, and beverages. I ordered their beverage a while back, I remember it as overly priced and too sweet.

It's hard to believe that someone is serving ice cream to two kids under 5 years old is in such a bad mood. I understand that they were loud and being KIDS but that's kind of what you signed up for. This worker needs to understand that if you're in the service industry, you need to provide SERVICE. If you are having a bad day, leave it at the door. There are kids in here trying to enjoy visiting an ice cream parlor and they were highly disappointed. Thank you for ruining our Friday afternoon with lack luster effort to serve some ice cream...out of all things. Not to mention, she has an airpod in her ear and she is wearing CROCS, which I know for a fact are not SERVSAFE APPROVED OR NON SLIP. SHE IS LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN.

Baskin-Robbins (aka 31 Flavors) is an iconic ice cream shop. I like the variety. Pricing is average for the portions. The quality is good. The best deals are the pre-packed pints and ice cream to go. My favorite is the "baseball nut" which is (or maybe was) a seasonal flavor. Parking is easy here as it's in an outdoor stripmall type parking lot near a supermarket and other retailers. The service was fast and friendly.

    Every flavor gone?!

$14.30 for 2 single cones?! Never again. Ice cream looked oldish, probably because no one can afford it anymore.

I especially love the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream, which is always delicious. One of the reasons I prefer this Redondo Beach location is their generous portions. They also allow you to choose two different flavors on a sugar cone, which some other locations (like Glendale) do not allow, they require the same flavor. That flexibility definitely makes a difference. Parking is plentiful, the service is excellent, and the ambiance is nice since you're enjoying your ice cream outdoors. Overall, it's a great spot, and I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

The employee refused to accommodate a simple request, then accused me of having an attitude and closed the service window in my face. When I asked for a manager, another employee came out and said they supported the coworker and also refused to serve me. I was eventually served only after being told to "not have an attitude." I only completed the purchase because I had promised my kids ice cream, but the overall experience was disrespectful, unprofessional, and felt discriminatory. I would not recommend this place, especially for families.

There was a new flavor called pineapple upside down cake that had caught my eye so I handed him my credit card and told him to hook up the household. It's nice that you get credit toward future purchase discounts which are appreciated. I ordered a large that comes with 4 scoops. Besides the new item, I added cherry vanilla, rocky road, and butter pecan. Guess I was feeling a bit nutty. The pineapple was a little too cakey for me but I'm glad I tried it. I was right, but that still may be a bit unusual in SoCal, where we all scream for ice cream all year 'round. Large parking lot was mostly empty when we arrived and only filled in slightly for other businesses by the time we left, around 3:15pm. It took a minute for us to get noticed by the one person working, who we called out to a few times. She took our orders and got to work filling them. While we waited, I did a bit of inter webs research on why Bruster's resembled the same set up as Handel's. Turned out Bruce (the man behind Bruster's) worked for Handel's and had some of his own ideas about changes to the Handel's way of operating that, let's just say, Handel's wasn't open to trying. So Bruce went his own way, building on the same concept of ice cream made fresh daily in-house, unique flavors and a walk-up window. Interesting. Also interesting was the small portion in my waffle bowl. It was meant to be Medium, 2 flavors, but it looked more like a small, 2 flavors. In addition, the 2 scoops were offset with one flavor hanging over the edge, rather than in the bowl. Wonky. Lots of room in the bowl, why was it hard to aim the scoops into it? No one was being rushed, no line forming. This is a treat. Something special. Take a beat for the presentation. Especially if you're not giving full scoops. Make that bowl look like you filled it as best you can with the small amount you're dishing out. I haven't had this experience at other Brewster's, so maybe it's just how this location is run, or maybe just the person on this day. Don't think I'll return to find out. Cheers! "CC"

One thing was immediately clear: everyone was ordering the snowstorm. Most people seemed to go with either the matcha or the original, though they also had other flavors like sesame. Naturally we followed the crowd and ordered the matcha. It's matcha soft serve topped with chestnuts, and it turned out to be a great little pre-dinner snack -- creamy, earthy, and not overly sweet. What surprised me most was that they carry different types of chestnuts. I preferred the smaller ones, which were softer, more moist, and sweeter. The larger ones were firmer, but you can buy them already peeled, which honestly feels like a luxury if you've ever battled chestnut shells before. It's a quirky specialty shop, but a fun one to browse. And judging by the number of snowstorms coming out of the kitchen, that's clearly the move here.

It had some sweetened chestnuts inside which was really nice. It came out hot and went well with the ice cream. They also have cookies, donuts, and a variety of ice creams as well. They also have drinks like their chestnut milk too. For soft serve they have their fuji soft serves which comes with toppings. I want to come back to try their other items. The people behind the counter wasn't the friendliest and out items took awhile. The inside is small and casual and not really anywhere to sit. But they do have seating outside.
