I was so disappointed that I honestly thought maybe it was just a bad batch. The next day, my girlfriend felt bad and went to the original King's Hawaiian location on Sepulveda and bought eight more. Unfortunately, we had the exact same experience--all of them were barely filled with custard. At this point, it feels like we're paying more for significantly less product. These were practically empty cream puffs, and I honestly felt ripped off. I really hope someone from the pastry department sees this because King's Hawaiian has been a place I've enjoyed for years. I'd hate to see a product that people love lose its quality because of what appears to be cutting back on the amount of custard.
