I have never felt so disrespected in an establishment. From the moment we walked in, Anna treated us with hostility. She automatically gave us dirty looks, as if we were unwelcome customers. Things only got worse when she accused us of stealing--without any reason, evidence, or interaction prior. When I confronted her about her attitude, she coldly responded with, "your group stole," which made absolutely no sense since we had just arrived and had no idea what she was even referring to. On top of that, the service was unprofessional to the point of being insulting. We were repeatedly told to pay before being handed something as simple as a spoon, which created an uncomfortable and humiliating atmosphere. It felt like we weren't being treated as customers at all, but rather as criminals. This type of behavior is unacceptable. No one should walk into a business and immediately feel judged, targeted, or disrespected. Management seriously needs to address this and hire employees who actually know how to treat customers with basic courtesy and respect. Anna gave us the worst service I have ever experienced, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before coming here until this is fixed. read more

I absolutely love this place, me and my family have been going for countless years and the staff have always been so sweet and helpful. I remember very specifically one worker named Kristina enthusiastically go out of her way to offer help and assistance to a customer to make his yogurt when he was unable to and that stuck with me. I remember her name because she's there everyday I've gone totally working her tail off and always being so sweet and helpful to everyone including myself, offering to wipe my table if it looks messy. All the staff at this location is absolutely amazing, the manager Bianca is there just as often and I see her cleaning up the store spotless everytime I come in and anytime I mention a flavor isn't working she fixes it immediately. Even on the crazy days I have come in, their team is always running around making sure that little store of there's comfortable and spotless. I had to write this review now finally after all these years when the thought popped into my head my last visit, this staff treats their customers like they know you on a personal level, like family, at least for me this store really grew on me. Their flavors and consistency with fixing and working machines has been flawless with every experience I've had. I love chatting with everyone here and Anna especially is always saying something funny that makes em and my family laugh. I absolutely love this place, the environment, energy, service and of course the fantastic quality yogurt they provide. This is the only Yogurtland location I go to in Torrance. It's the best! 5 min walk to the beach I love taking my yogurt and eating it along the view. If I could give this location negative stars, I would. I went to this Yogurtland twice within the past two weeks with my friends, and refused to order anything on both occasions after how disrespectfully one of the employees (dark hair, female, late 20s-early 30s) treated us. On 10/18, I very politely asked this employee for sample cups, to which she responded "I'm going to give you two, but you'd better not fill it to the top" after glaring at me. My friend asked her as well, and she gave him a similarly rude response. Yesterday, I went again with friends. I walked in, and immediately felt her glaring at me. I asked her for a sample cup, and she looked me up and down and shook her head, arms crossed. I'd like to note that she had no problem distributing sample cups to adult customers, but repeatedly discriminated against my friends and I for being teenagers, wrongfully assuming we were only there to mess around. I reported this incident to corporate and I expect they give this employee implicit bias training. I will not be returning to this location, and I will advise all of my teenage schoolmates and friends to do the same. read more

I used to consider this location of yogurtland my favorite because it had in my opinion the best variety of flavors, but after a few recent trips it's not the worst location out of any yogurtland. There is one employee who was extremely rude to me and my friends. When we asked for sample cups she responded in a very rude tone and told me to "not play with them and to not fill them to the top". She also completely denied my friend sample cups. All I wanted was just to try out a new flavor but she assumed just because I was young that I had some alternative motive. This was my first time at this location and the last. The blonde employee here completely ruined my experience by giving me an attitude because I was tasting the ice cream I put into my cup. She kept questioning why I did that and kept telling me in a rude manner there's sample cups for that. I obviously didn't know that and asked for a spoon from the other girl to try the flavors so I wouldn't have done that if I knew not to. But to be scolded on ice cream when it's supposed to be a happy thing for people? The other girl offered for me to keep the ice cream which was nice but the other girl was so rude I couldn't even enjoy the ice cream anymore with the bad feeling she left me with. All I wanted was to pick two flavors to mix together, which I did and was finished filling my cup when she approached me so I don't know why that was even necessary. I wasn't putting five different flavors in my cup and then eating it. I don't think she should give kids attitude like that either but to talk to an adult like that over ice cream is just going out of your way to be mean.
