First time to try corn in the cup at LA Michoacana inside in Del amo mall. The service so friendly and clean. I'll come back soon!

Mango paleta for $5+ on 7/3/2022

I ordered the mango paleta. The staff who helped me was nice. The paleta was good but it's pricey. $5+ a piece and it tasted okay. This spot is located in the del amo mall.

Wanted dessert after dinner at Din Tai Fung. Why not a paleta?! They had tons of different flavors here, ranging from dairy to non dairy. I asked the worker which one was the favorite and she couldn't even decide! So I went with a mango chimoy and I was not disappointed! Tip: you get a discount if you pay with cash. It came out to exactly $9 for two paletas. They also have ice cream and sorbet. Overall I thought it was delicious!

I ask for a diablito and I got a raspado I told the girl that this was not a diablito she said It was she was in a hurry to get me out of there, cause she was Too busy talking to a boy I got a Tamarino Rasado to pricey and then you don't get what you want so sad 12/08/23

Wow! Where do I start? Amazing, friendly staff. Super clean inside with awesome decor! I love the bright colors! You are always greeted right away and the staff is so patient and explain the yummy treats they have on their menu. I've been a few times and the Esquites never fail to make my belly happy! The ice cream is so creamy and fresh! I've tried a few different snacks and can't wait to try all the other ones especially the popsicles. They are located right on the 2nd floor across of Spencers. I highly recommend this location as it is my favorite place to go for snacks! Thanks ladies!!!

My daughter discovered this spot and she told me all about it. She said the staff was so friendly to her and her friends. I wanted to try something off their menu so took advantage since we were shopping that day. It's clean and bright. I was a bit confused on where to order. First you go and order then get your stuff and pay. So don't line up at the register first. I got a mangoniada right level of spicy with bite size mango and candy. They have so many ice cream selections. My daughter got the hot cheetos with melted cheese and my other the Fresa con Crema shake with real strawberries and condensed milk. You can taste the freshness in both our drinks and the cheese in my daughters hot Cheetos was hot which was perfect. Good taste. The ladies working there are so friendly feels and truly make you feel like you're welcome. I would definitely go back and try more stuff.

The shaved ice was incredibly light and fluffy, and the combination of fresh blueberries, yogurt, and granola made it refreshing without being overly sweet. The Hojicha Bingsoo was a nice contrast. The roasted tea flavor paired really well with the sweet red bean and crispy puffed rice, making it a great choice if you enjoy deeper, earthy flavors. That said, if I had to pick just one, I'd still go with the Matcha Bingsoo - it remains my favorite here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the café was clean and inviting. If you're craving bingsoo, Noon Korean Bingsoo is the place to go. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I usually go to Oakobing in Ktown, but I'm so happy to have a place this good much closer to home. My husband and I recently stopped by for the injeolmi bingsoo, and it absolutely blew my mind. It came topped with red beans, a rich peanut butter-like paste (I'm not exactly sure what it was, but it was delicious), a generous dusting of injeolmi powder, and condensed milk on the side to drizzle over everything. As you dig into the fluffy shaved ice, you're rewarded with surprise chunks of chewy mochi hidden throughout, and I believe there were even more red beans waiting at the bottom. Every bite was packed with flavor and texture. It was so good that I'm craving another bowl just thinking about it. *Drools* I'm not sure how busy it gets during the day since we've only visited after dinner, but we've always found plenty of parking. It's the perfect dessert spot to cool off on a hot summer evening, and definitely one I'd recommend if you're in the area.

Of course the usual x-factors of easy parking, no-wait short lines quick to serve, indoor ice cream parlor seating and the less-than-justified "lower prices, bigger portions" argument everyone has with every food vendor that exists... I come to this location all the time but never really pay attention to the pricing…read more The other day, I asked the girl at the counter if the small is the smallest size they have and she told me that there is a scoop that is at $2.50. I think, great since my elderly Dad is diabetic and shouldn't have a lot of ice cream, so I went with that but in a waffle cone, she said that would be $3.50. I said that's fine, I will have one in flavor A and the other one in flavor B, total came to $7.35 And I asked her to put the ice cream cone in a cup, so it would be easier for him to eat in the car as it was extremely hot that day, and I don't want it to drip all over the car. When she gave me the ice cream, it was both flavor in one cone. I told her I wanted 2 separate cone instead of all in one. And then she said it would be another $7, I was in a hurry, so didn't really put too much thoughts into it, and just charge it. So now I look at my charges, so it turns out the same serving, one is at $7.35 and the other is $7. When I get the ice cream, I asked her, so there nothing that is smaller than this. She said there is, but not in a waffle cone, it will be extra with a waffle cone. So I asked $2.50 in a regular cone and additional $3.50 for the waffle cone? She said yes!! I am still confused as to whether they have a smaller serving than small and how much it is. I check on the pricing people posted here and don't see a $2.50/$3.50 smaller size showing. It remains a mystery to me, and I really wanted to know as it will be a hot summer, both my elderly parents, who are diabetic, would probably asked for ice cream, and I really don't want them to have a small each on their own, since it is still a decent size and they don't like the same flavor, so they can't really share a small one.

When scanning the shops for a caffeination boost, I couldn't stop thinking about the "Over Caffeinated Cold Brew Float" I saw advertised at Moom Maam. So intriguing! I circled back and ordered the indulgent morning treat, slightly skeptical of such a mix. I'm happy to report though that yes, it was a monstrosity to have first thing in the morning but I'd do it again in a second. You get to pick what flavor gelato is in the coffee and I went with chocolate to which they replied, great choice! I agree, it was such a good mix with the cold coffee brew. The gelato was so creamy with amazing flavor, I can't wait to come back and try more off their menu!

Luckily this was one of the stands that had good reviews, so I gave it a shot. Between the language barrier and my excitement for dessert, I somehow ended up ordering more than I planned. The ice cream was good and the Asian-inspired flavors were definitely different from the usual. It didn't completely blow my socks off, but it was a solid treat. I kept thinking a little syrup or extra topping would've taken it up another level. Overall, glad I tried it. Half the fun of these food events is randomly discovering stuff you normally wouldn't eat anyway. I'd probably check out their Torrance brick-and-mortar location sometime and give them another shot.

Unfortunately, my visit on July 25 was a completely different experience. The black sesame bingsu had a strong pepper-like taste, making it unpleasant to eat. On top of that, the taiyaki we ordered didn't arrive until about 30 minutes later, so we no longer had time to enjoy it at the restaurant and had to take it to-go. When we politely brought up the taste of the bingsu with an employee (a young man with glasses and shoulder-length hair), he became defensive, spoke to us rudely, and walked away in the middle of the conversation before we could finish explaining the issue. At that point, we weren't even complaining about the delayed taiyaki. We simply wanted to let them know something seemed wrong with the dessert. We did eventually receive an apology for the delayed taiyaki, but only after we asked about the reason for the delay. The employee explained that he had mixed up our order with another table. I've supported Okrumong for years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Everyone makes mistakes, and a delayed order or a food quality issue can happen. What really stood out was how the situation was handled. I hope the management takes customer service more seriously, because this visit was far below the standard I've come to expect from Okrumong.

The light creamy tomato-based dressing with sliced mushrooms was pleasantly flavorful. Both shrimp and scallops were of good size, fresh and juicy. Fromage: Like Marine Crepe, the buckwheat out layer was soft. The mild brie cheese provided pleasant creaminess to the filling.
