When I questioned it, instead of simply explaining the situation, the employee helping us seemed unwilling to make it and gave us attitude. I also asked to sample a couple of other flavors since the item we originally wanted was supposedly unavailable, and her attitude made the whole interaction even more uncomfortable. I completely understand that places run out of items and employees can have difficult days, but this didn't seem to be an availability issue when other customers were being served the exact same thing. It felt like we were simply being refused service for something that was clearly available. We came in expecting a quick, enjoyable ice cream stop, and unfortunately left feeling singled out and disappointed. I hope management looks into what happened and makes sure customers are treated consistently and respectfully.
