Who can say no to a churro while strolling along the Redondo Beach pier? I can't. We stopped by to get churro on the go. I mean look at the boats, the view, the color of the sky, and the warm, sweet, crispy, freshly made churo in my hand. The strawberry sauce goes well with the churo. It's not too expensive and it's worth to treat yourself once in a while. The service is pretty efficient, you get what you order pretty much right away!
Quick friendly service, Delicious churros, soft serve with topping and all seemed too sweet for me. Next time I will probably stick to only churro or churro and soft serve but without the topping.
Churro is good but not great. But when you're at the pier, this still ain't bad to get. The restaurant does get busy so you will maybe in line or may not. But the service was quick to. Still recommend it
2023/143 Late Post Churros were freshly made when I bought them. The baker was making some as many as he can for future orders. It was not a long line but it was quite a wait to give an order and prepare the order. I think it's overrated cause the churros were yes large in size but it tasted still doughy inside. I still enjoyed it with the caramel dipping sauce which was a little bit runny and not caramel gooeyness.
Goodness this place should come with a WARNING! One time is all it takes...you will be returning!!! Churros were warm and crunchy but soft on the inside served with ice cream and strawberry topping!!! This is not for sharing ...you WILL want your very own! Perfect for a nice gorgeous sunny day
Hidden right beneath the wooden stairs, you will find the BEST Churro desert on the Fisherman's Wharf. Delicious and quick to satisfy your craving. I recommend the Churro Affogato with Mocha! Super delicious! The Churro Sundae comes with a split Churro cut in half.
The churros are made fresh there. Very nice and soft. The cinnamon and sugar ratio is good, not too sweet. The sundae was good and complicated the churro nicely. The order was quick and cashier was very friendly. It's on the pier so it's very crowded but has the beach vibe.

You can get it with chocolate, but I either like mine plain or with condensed milk, so I hope they make that an option one day! The lady working was so sweet as well.
It didn't start off well - I was waiting at the window for over 5 min, with no one in front of me, and I had to get the cashier's attention to order. However, as soon as I did, the preparation time was very quick and got my churro sundae w/ caramel. It was the best churro I've had in a long time, and the ice cream/soft serve was really delicious, plus the caramel syrup! I recommend the churro sundae or even just the churro! Just make sure you're not waiting around to put your order in.
850 for the sucker, but it was only half of a eero. I paid for the other half. Service is quick. The man taking our order was really sweet and nice. This is literally in the pier on the bottom floor. No seating arrangement just to pick up an order and take it to go on a hot summer day. It is perfect. read more
I've been coming to this little churro spot on the Redondo Beach Pier for years, and I'm finally writing a review because it's long overdue! This time, I tried the Affogato Churros with caramel, and wow -- totally worth the hype. The churros were freshly made, warm, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside -- just how they should be. The caramel drizzle added that extra sweetness that paired perfectly with the espresso pour-over. It was a delightful combo -- like dessert and coffee in one! It's a one-man shop and the owner clearly takes pride in what he does. You can taste the care in every bite. If you're on the pier, skip the usual snacks and treat yourself to some churros here. The perfect ending to a beach day is right here. I was coincidentally looking for something sweet and for coffee! Come to think of it, I found the perfect thing - churro affogato! If you don't know what a churro affogato is... its a crispy, hot, delicious churro topped on creamy ice cream, drizzled with espresso! The photo doesn't do it justice but trust me, it's amazing! The man who served my boyfriend I was very nice to explain to me what it is, too. So bonus points! Definitely try this out. If you're not a caffeine person, they serve churros by itself as well. I've never had a more perfect churro! Will be back! read more

Delicious and fresh churros! Came here for a stroll and dip at the beach with my son and husband. Was craving something sweet so decided to stop by. This place does not disappoint and you can add additonal toppings if you want. They do take card but preferably cash. read more

Always have to stop here for fresh made churros and sundaes! Amazing flavor the churros warm you up after a cold swim in the beach water. Dean and Angela were super friendly and helped put big smiles on the kids faces and now they are in a heavenly bliss! Thank you we will be back very soon. read more

The best Churros, in my favorite City & Beach! (cash only) You get 3 freshies for $7 and if you want a dipping sauce chocolate or strawberry, it's only 50¢.. Haven't had the Affogato Sundae yet, but looks so bomb! Seriously, these Churros are better than the ones at the Swapmeet. The store itself is always super clean too, Countertops/Glass and all, which is a Bonus, plus oceanview so why not? read more
My husband & I had just eaten lunch at Captain Kidd's Fish Market and decided to walk the entire loop around the pier and back. We were looking to get ice cream, but we never did. On our way, we walked along the International Boardwalk. First, we passed a few bars. All of a sudden, I spotted Cotton Candy. Hubby saw the lady actually finish winding the last portion of the cotton candy and bag it. I needed no more convincing. I wanted THAT bag! I go crazy for freshly spun cotton candy. He bought it for me. The lady asked which color and my husband chose the pink one and asked for that particular bag. It was mine! TIP: Cash Only here We sat outside and I ate some while hubby people watched and looked at the water for sea creatures. Win/win! Cotton Candy is best when it comes out of the machine... fresh! I don't know why I am obsessed with having fresh cotton candy, but I am. When I see it, I must have a bag. This was pretty good sweet candy floss! It hadn't had time to clump into a hard ball like old cotton candy does. Most of the reviews for this place are for Churros. I suppose that is their "Bread and Butter", but I love Cotton Candy, so I am tossing this review in! If there is not fresh cotton candy, I may have to try one of their churros since I like a good churro, too! read more
I have been coming to this place for a few years now. Every time I'm in the area I make it a point to stop by and grab a churro. But wait there's more, I can remember if they had sundaes the last time I came here but I'm sure glad they do now. I have to cast my vote for this place having the best churros in Redondo Beach. Now add some vanilla ice cream to the mix and you got yourself a tasty treat. I most definitely will be back soon. read more

I hear there are two locations on the pier, this review is for the one on the main boardwalk closer to beach access and next door to Bella Gelato. "World Famous Churros" - how could we pass that up? The nice friendly man that works here sports a great mustache and has a bright smile that lights up your day! We got the churro sundae ($5.50) with fruity pebbles topping. It comes with a single churro cut into two pieces. The ice cream was creamy however didn't really taste like anything but milk and sugar. With fruity pebbles, it kind of resembled milk & cereal. The churro on the other hand was delicious! Warm and fresh, good coating of cinnamon and sugar, crunchy on the outside and soft, more dense on the inside than a Costco churro. Be mindful, it's cash only. I'd probably skip the sundae and come back for just the churros because one was definitely not enough to share between two people! read more

Throughout COVID, this churro spot has been my go-to for satisfying my sweet tooth. With so many restaurants being closed in 2020, I was so happy to find this churro shop still open. They are always fresh and hot! The outside is crunchy / crispy, the center is soft, and there is the perfect amount of sugar / cinnamon on the outside. This is the best treat to take with you when you are walking around the pier or on the sand. read more

Been coming here as a kid. This was always my family outing and we'd always end or start our pier walk with a churro or two in hand. The churros always satisfy our churro craving and it's also more of a nostalgic aspect of coming back here for more churros. Nonetheless, churros are good. Staff is always super friendly and service is quick as well. I'll see y'all soon. read more

This teeny shop (that you buy through a window) offers good 'ol nostalgia-inducing churros. * YES - Greasy! Everyone is right, the churros here are tender, crunchy, fresh, flavorful, hot, a little greasy (normal), and smell really good. I had one with NO SUGAR ... oh stop, I don't eat sugar on anything, and if I did it would taste awful. Will never have another because it's not my thing. And they raised prices by $1 to pay for renovations, I guess. Or the pier leasing raised their rent after all the renovations. Be careful Redondo Beach shops and businesses ... you want the people to come back, don't punish them for doing so. read more
