2023/143 Late Post Churros were freshly made when I bought them. The baker was making some as many as he can for future orders. It was not a long line but it was quite a wait to give an order and prepare the order. I think it's overrated cause the churros were yes large in size but it tasted still doughy inside. There are many little shops and restaurants in Redondo Beach, but the best, "World Famous Churros" are found right when you turn the corner from the strand/beach to the pier. You can see the second entrance in the second picture I posted. The weather in South Bay today was in the 80's. What better way to cool off from a day full of adventure than with an ice cream? Got to the window, ordered 6 churros, paid, and I was on my way out. No hold up in any way! Downside is though that they're cash only which can be inconvenient, especially during COVID when many are avoiding cash handling. My husband & I had just eaten lunch at Captain Kidd's Fish Market and decided to walk the entire loop around the pier and back. We were looking to get ice cream, but we never did. The nice friendly man that works here sports a great mustache and has a bright smile that lights up your day! We got the churro sundae ($5.50) with fruity pebbles topping. It comes with a single churro cut into two pieces. The ice cream was creamy however didn't really taste like anything but milk and sugar. With fruity pebbles, it kind of resembled milk & cereal. The churro on the other hand was delicious! Warm and fresh, good coating of cinnamon and sugar, crunchy on the outside and soft, more dense on the inside than a Costco churro. Be mindful, it's cash only. I'd probably skip the sundae and come back for just the churros because one was definitely not enough to share between two people! read more

This has been my childhood spot. My family would come to Redondo Beach for the churros for years. My mom recently got the churros and took it home. Even after a day, it still tasted so yummy. Everyone is right, the churros here are tender, crunchy, fresh, flavorful, hot, a little greasy (normal), and smell really good. I had one with NO SUGAR ... oh stop, I don't eat sugar on anything, and if I did it would taste awful. Will never have another because it's not my thing. The best churros I've had in a long time. There's 2 locations on the pier that serve these churros but the main one located next to the Pearl factory on the main pier stays open longer! The one on the marina closes earlier. Both are the same price: $2.50 for one of $6 for 3. My boyfriend and I always split the 3 and leave very satisfied :) 1 isn't enough. These things are always fresh, and hand tossed with lots of cinnamon and sugar! They've got a great crunch and chew and are super filling. Hands down one of my favorite desserts on the pier. I believe that they serve cotton candy and maybe one other thing but I've never tried these, just the churros :) Cash only, so come prepared! read more
