Normally I come to this location and it's every now and then I eat jersey mikes. As of today I decided to come here since it's hot. Long line which is understandable but as it got to me to take my order he skips me and take the guys order behind me. Also none of the employees even acknowledged me but instead asked if I ordered someone's else order. I then left. read more

Workers here were incredibly RUDE. I asked if the turkey can be cut again because it was cut so thinly, it was shedded, he ignored me and I had to ask again. Then the person doing my sandwich, I asked if I could have no mayo, she just ignored me without a response. Then I asked if she heard me because I wasn't sure, she responded with "yeah I heard you loud and clear". That type of response was unnecessary. I went here because I have celiac and heard they started carrying gluten free bread and really missed the Original Italian. As soon as I asked whether they had the bread, they asked me to wait for a couple extra minutes so they could change gloves and clean the area, and then they got a separate tray to make the sandwich on. They communicated to everyone to make sure there was no cross-contamination and when the time came to pay, I was also able to buy a loaf separately for only 2 bucks! The bread was definitely gluten free, if you know what I mean, but that's expected. I'm just very excited to be able to have another fast food place I can bring my family to. I went to the Gardena Jersey Mikes today around noon. Although there was a line and online orders to fulfill, the crew today was amazing. They were efficient, courteous, getting through the orders pretty fast. There were about 6 people in line ahead of me and I know there was a larger order too but I got in and out in less than 15 min. They even had time to point out that I have enough shore points to get a free sandwich. What a crew! read more

Been awhile since I updated my review here. Updating based on my visit today. I love Jersey Mike's and still feel it's the best quick sub shop out there. My old go to use to be the #13, these days it is a #6, sub provolone for Swiss and in a bowl vs. on the bread. Tastes great and not too heavy, etc. Love their bread, meats and other topping, but trying to eat better and really watch my sodium, just trying to be healthier where possible. With that out of the way, to this location. Typical decor and seating inside, clean and nice. The employees seemed very friendly as I had said previously, there are the regulars, they know and know their orders which is great. But me being an occasional customer, they would not know my order, which is fine. But there were some misses here, this my 4 stars vs my old 5 stars. My order is not complicated and always the same. I ordered as I said a #6, sub Swiss in a bowl. Started making a #3 or #7, not sure if it was ham or Turkey, either way, had to stop them to get the roast beef. Not a big deal it happens. They seemed a little annoyed, but once they changed it, the amount of meat and cheese was very minimal, much less than what it should have been. I accepted it, no stress. Asked for a little more lettuce, gave me just that, very little more, asked for extra onion and tomato, as that is all I wanted on it, again, was like pulling teeth, did not put much on, even after asking for extra. Wanted black pepper only, no salt, they started adding salt, not pepper, stopped them again. Thought about asking it to be made again, as I am avoiding excess salt, but did not want to bother. Just took it as is. Normally, I will have some extra left after ordering this exact combination tons of times, this time, ate it all and still felt hungry. A bit of a disappointment today. I usually don't come to this branch lol, but was passing through this city, got hungry, came here on 10/31 night time for a veggie giant sandwich to-go for myself. (At any jersey mike's locations, I always get the same super fresh healthiest thing: giant white bread of veggie with tomatoes, extra green bell peppers, extra raw onions, cheese, black peppers, and at times lettuce. Along with 2 jalapeño chip bags. All the most scrumptious). 5 stars for Caesar who gave professional polite mannerism in customer service and was very nice, patient, and informative on why they didn't get more giant white breads for me to order to-go for giant white sandwich(es) because they were sold out from the all day busy and their policy is to not go out and get more giant white breads before/after a certain time. Your other staff that was with you that night, needs to learn to be as patient, nice, and helpful like you. His customer service was annoyed and unprofessional. Smh. Keep up the great work, Caesar! The last time I had a Jersey Mike sub was eons ago (and it wasn't at this location.) I guess it didn't make that great of an impression because I've never been back since. There are so many other places offering similar (or possibly even better) sandwiches Jersey Mike's has (okay, truth is I'm making that assumption since I've never been at this location before) so the only way to find out is to try them out again, right?! The only sandwich that caught my eye was their famous Philly, so I went for that. Since there were no other customers ahead, getting my sammich was pretty fast! VERDICT: Nothing spectacular, but I felt it was above par. The rosemary bread added a little umph to each bite. The meat could use a bit more seasoning. The cheese wasn't overbearing. I liked it. FOOD: 3.5. SERVICE: 5. Staff were SPECTACULAR. I was with two other peeps who were a little persnickety with their orders and preppers were champs at it, "No problem!" When about half a dozen people came through behind me, their staff was prepared to handle them. A couple of them were multitasking while working together to get orders filled. Their teamworking was incredibly impressive! VALUE: 4. More than fair for what you get. I had a "regular" and it ended up yielding 2 meals for me! PARKING: Shared with others. Since they're so close to Starbucks and Albertson's, it can get crowded, but not really an issue if you're willing to walk a few more feet. OVERALL: 4.25. She was also being a sarcastic and asked if another food store nearby doesn't have any ? That's not what I asked . First , I'm told that they don't sell guac . I said that's interesting, since when ? The blond hair girl responded we don't have guac and we're actually closed . Which scenario is it ? The store being closed or they don't sell guac ? I'd take this to management or corporate for lying to a customer and refusing to serve them. First time at Jersey Mike's. Never been to a Jersey Mike's before and I'm going to compare with subway since it's another sandwich shop. Located on Western Ave and Artesia, it's at a corner near Starbucks and In N Out. I decided to get Tuna. There were three sizes and I ordered a medium which was 7". There were three bread options (white, wheat, and rosemary). I got the rosemary. I got provolone cheese. I got a bag of chips too. There weren't as much vegetable selection like subway. Total was over $10 which seemed pricey compared to subway. The sandwich was good, a lot better quality than subway, that's why the price is more. I got the sandwich 'for here' and they don't have trays so I had to carry my sandwich onto my table. Nice that they have napkins at tables. Kind of pricey and smaller compared to subway but tastes better. read more

The quality of ingredients is good and the deli meat was plentiful, but it pretty much ended there for me. Twice I have been here and the staff is terrible. The young African woman who worked Sunday morning Sept 5th, is just the rudest person ever. I'm pretty she knows it too because she seemed to not care about giving attitude, you can tell she's rude to her co workers as well because they all seemed to be in a bad mood. Once the cashier hands your food to you, he should follow through with the commitment. So I have a hot sandwich coming off the grill wrapped up and ready to pay for it. I get up out my chair go to the register and proceeded to pay, the cashier proceeded to hand me my sandwich then pulled it back , sat it down and said I get to you right after this guy. I've tried this place on two separate occasions, and both times I was disappointed. They offer hot and cold subs, wraps, and salads. Like most sub sandwich places, subs are customizable with a variety of toppings. Also, any sub can be made into a salad. Food: - Big Kahuna Cheese Steak - Grilled onions and peppers, mushrooms, jalapenos, and extra cheese. I specifically asked for no jalapenos. What did I find in my sandwich when I got home? A whole lot of jalapenos MIXED into the steak and cheese. It was basically impossible to pick them all out. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. - Turkey Wrap - Oven-roasted turkey, lettuce, tomato, honey mustard sauce. You also get a choice of wrap: regular, whole wheat, or spinach. I definitely enjoyed the flavor of the spinach tortilla! The inner contents of the wrap were alright. They definitely gave a lot of turkey, but there was barely any tomato. Also, I substituted the honey mustard for ranch dressing, and it was super watery! It could have been the water from the lettuce, too...either way, it made the bottom of my wrap soggy!
