Came yesterday around 7pm for dinner and we got a double melt cheeseburger, swiss and shroom burger, fries, and a fountain drink ($40 including tip) Loved the burgers, their juice and the toppings inside taste very fresh! The meat patties also has their own flavor. I love that you can adjust the sauce and type of cheese on the burger for free. If the burger doesn't have tomatoe, lettuce, raw onions then it can be added for free The only thing was that our fries didn't taste that fresh but everything else was! It wasn't crunchy and just warm We got to sample their cookie and it was good! It's like a chewy thin cookie! Overall great spot for a burger!

I really wanted to love this place but it fell a bit short. Burger was below par. Lack of flavor, meat wasn't seasoned and a bit bland. Sauce was spread on inconsistently where some parts had it and some didn't. Steak and cheese melt was flavorful. Loved the option for spicy garlic bread (star of the show). Bread stayed nice and crispy. Bacon ranch fries was nothing to rave about, we actually didn't finish half between two ppl and threw it away. I've eaten at a lot of places from LA county, Orange county, to San Diego County and all over. There's so many other burger places, cheesy places that bring more flavor to the table. Pricey for what it was. Loved their customer service, options to upgrade your items with toppings of choice, cookie sample, indoor and outdoor seating, and help yourself condiments and it's located at Del Amo mall.

Review #987 2026-057 Food Order: Spicy Mission MeltBurger (1/3 lb of Angus & Wagyu beef, 2 slices pepperjack cheese, jalapeños, avocado, lettuce, spicy Melt sauce, artisan bun) $11.99 Cheddar Bacon Ranch Fries (cheddar sauce, crispy bacon, shredded cheddar & ranch) $5.99 Tip: Join their loyalty program for a free order of (any) fries. The Melt replaced defunct Lemonade & located in Del Fashion Center, just south of Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que. While I'll miss its predecessor for their refreshing & creative lemonades & healthy cafeteria-style menu, I'm delighted for this takeover. Parking is horrid during weekday lunch rush. I drove to my usual north side of the lot near Charles Schwab & still had to wait for a space. \(`0´)/ The Melt is a fast casual American restaurant with a concentrated menu of burgers, crispy chicken, mac & cheese, melted sandwiches, soups & salads, sides, drinks & shakes, & dessert at moderate prices. While I rarely drink soda nowadays (gotta keep my glucose in check), I love their soda fountain is by Alameda Soda Company; they're a Bay Area handcrafted soda company that uses natural ingredients & pure cane sugar which aligns with the company's focus of serving 100% all-natural & preservative-free ingredients. Alameda Soda craft soda options: Oaktown Root Beer, Diablo Black Cherry, Golden Gate Orange, Lost Island Ginger Beer, Cable Car Lemon Lime, Hangar 25 Diet Cola, Hangar 25 Cola. There was a marketing offer for free fries by joining their loyalty program, but I also wanted to try The Melt's burgers. While known for its premium "MeltBurger" (blend of Angus & Wagyu beef), I'm a fan of spicy burgers & the Spicy Mission sounds right up my alley. I took advantage of the "loyalty" & upgraded to Cheddar Bacon Ranch Fries. There was a slight issue finding my info to redeem the fries, & had to wait for the cashier to flag a supervisor. Once done, I received a pager for my order. The decor is modern with warm wood elements & pops of color. The dining room is bright & spaced well without being cramp. If you prefer dining out, there's plenty of tables in the covered patio. An order board sits high right of the pick-up counter to check your order status. It wasn't long before my pager was buzzin'. The burger looked delish & I was salivating from its tantalizing scents... it was stacked high with ingredients that married well together! The burger was perfectly cooked & the patty had a crisp, caramelized crust while maintaining its juiciness that oozed down my hand from every bite! The sauce added a tangy, zesty zing, kinda 1000-island sauce with a spicy kick to accompany the perfectly melted pepperjack & jalapeños. Can you say flava bomb? Mmm... Mmm... Mmm!! What would truly made this a "perfect" burger is grilling/caramelizing the jalapeños. Now that would be a-m-a-z-i-n-g!! If mac & cheese is anything like their burgers, my teen would live here. LOL Their fries are thin-cut, Idaho russets... & the Cheddar Bacon Ranch Fries was a savory indulgence to my lunch. Perfectly fried golden, served hot & crisp with melted & shredded cheddar, the bacon bits & ranch drizzle adds salty & tangy oomph to this addictive side. Opened just a month ago, friendly staff cruised the dining room offering some sweet bites of their Chocolate Chunk Cookies. I'm not a fan of chocolate & rarely indulge in cookies, but theirs will change your mind, especially served warm with a "melt-in-your-mouth" feel of rich & buttery crisp crust & ooey gooey center. Who doesn't love hot off the oven cookies? Using sustainably grown chocolate, the Melt also added pretzel bits, giving a contrast to the chocolate's sweet bitterness. I really wanted a glass of milk to dip this cookie. I didn't need any sweets, but what a yummy way to end a most satisfying meal! I "melt" for The Melt... definite fan here... I'll be here often enough to be crowned Duchess! ;-) Yeah, I love it here! Highly Recommended: Spicy Mission MeltBurger (grilled jalapeños would make this perfection) & Cheddar Bacon Ranch Fries.

Great new burger spot just opened up at Del Amo Mall! The Melt just opened up right across Lucille's on the outdoor section. We were lucky enough to enjoy them on their training day, I tried both the spicy mission burger (8/10) and swiss n shroom (8.5/10.) Even as singles, the portion of each burger was pretty good. We also had garlic parmesan fries (8.2/10) and cheddar bacon ranch fries (8.4/10.) Very generously sized and lots of flavor. I had to get a chocolate shake and it's dangerously good (9/10.) Consistency isn't too thick where you're struggling to drink it (in and out) and very chocolatey. For burgers and fries though it can be kind of expensive, it was $50 for 2 burgers 2 fries 2 shakes, but the economy is Just like that now I guess! I'm going to have to come back and try the melt sandwiches next!

New burger place on the west side of Del Amo. Exterior of the mall, outward facing toward Barnes and Noble. Burgers are very meaty. My boy could put down only a quarter of a double. Serious protein loading. I appreciated that they could do medium rare. A bit pricey - a double patty burger was $16-18. Both burgers were dry - maybe the sauces were forgotten? I didn't see any pickle jalapeño mixes on the burger or in the side. I thought there'd ranch in another burger but also didn't see this. I wish my caesar salad had some dressing, cheese or anything special about it. The fries looked and smelled so good but I was trying to be healthy -- sorely regretted this choice when the salad was so naked. :/ Something was amiss with my order, I'm guessing.

I came here with my homie and we both enjoyed everything overall. Their burgers/chicken sandwiches tasted amazing , their desserts were bomb. Service was excellent; I'm not sure if he was one of the managers but his attitude overall was super positive and welcoming. He gave out chocolate chip pretzel cookie samples to everyone and I ended up buying one. I got their marshmallow treat as well but although it was good, it was a bit of a letdown as it was in a bag and not freshly made like everything else they had. Ambiance was great, I believe it was a newly opened location, everything was super clean and nice. I'd definitely be back for more if I'm ever in the area!

Trying out this new spot at the Mall (The Melt). Their pic is what brought me in. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. The staff are very welcoming and the food is delicious! What's not to like! Can't wait to try it all (over time if course)

First time visit and have been waiting to try it. Greeted by a very friendly male employee who took my order of Swiss & shroom melt burger. I asked for well done and should have gotten done with a little pink. I forgot when patty is composed of angus and waygu that it's not as fatty but it was still good. I also didn't notice until my food came that you van ask for tomato, lettuce and onion. Fries were perfect and not greasy. When I was eating I was given a sample of their chocolate chip cookie. Then when I was done an employee came by and took my tray. Amazing customer service. Will definitely be back again.

The Melt is truly attempting to make you a fan! They were offering big samples. Food was very good! The burger was juicy and flavorful. The grilled chicken sandwich was fresh don't forget to ask for the pickle jalapeno on it. The sweet potato fries are a must. The location was clean and inviting. Staff was super nice and helpful. We'll be back for sure.

Located at the Del Amo Mall in Torrance on the outside near Macy's and next to Lucille's BBQ. Parking lot is the mall lot so parking all over. The place has both indoor seating and patio seating. You can walk in order from the kiosk or go up to the counter to place your order they give you a number buzzer to pick up your food. I got the BBQ Bacon MELTBURGER it was ok wish the bacon was more crispy and there were more sauce. Also got the Original Chicken melt and sweet potato fries for my mom she liked it. Overall not a bad place another option place to eat when you are at the mall.

The staff are all so friendly and attentive! Ray was really nice and welcoming and gave us cookies while we were waiting. Good prices for good burgers and fries. Also, the classic chicken sandwich had great flavor, they have this jalapeno + prickle mix that makes it yummy. The made chicken breast juicy!

2nd visit here, I got their 3 cheese classic grilled cheese. Spectacular. The sourdough is toasted and crispy as perfect as possible. The cheese is gooey and flavorful. I added tomato and jalapeno no extra charge which is perfect. This is just an absolutely perfect grilled cheese sandwich. No notes.

The service is friendly and fast and this is family styled, no dress code nor any frills of ambiance. The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

It's definitely not the original sauce. This didn't feel like Stonefire. It felt like a completely different restaurant trying to pass as Stonefire. Really disappointing.

The Slip Bar is one of my favorite spots, and a big reason why is the atmosphere. Anissa, my…read morefavorite bartender, goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome. You can tell she genuinely cares about the people who walk through the door, and it makes such a difference. I also love their daily specials -- there's always something fun to look forward to, and it keeps things fresh. The camaraderie here is unmatched. It's the kind of place where you can relax, have a good time, and feel like part of a community. Highly recommend if you're looking for a laid-back spot with great energy and even better people.

Avoid and watch your drinks…read more On Wednesday 4/29/2026 I went to Slip for my fist time to grab a bite to eat. I ordered a 22oz beer and a chicken sandwich. The chicken was all cut up not a whole chicken breast which I should have seen as a red flag. But I tried to enjoy it, thinking positive and enjoy my night. I finished the beer and ordered a small beer but I started feeling really dizzy during this time. And not from drinking. If you've ever been roofied you know this exact feeling. Things are moving slower. You're spinning. You don't have full control. And you could pass out at any second. Thankfully I got home but it continued in a shower I took to try and wake up, but that didn't work. On my sofa I passed out. And woke up the next day still not feeling good. Still needing to lay down and needing more sleep. Another night passed where I slept early. Like I was knocked out. And today, Friday I finally felt like it was all out of my system. And this all happened because I went to Slip. This is not a fluke. It was not an accident. It happened to me and it can happen to you too. It can happen anywhere maybe, or maybe not. But what's for sure is it happened to me there. If you're with Slip and you're reading this, do not try and make me an offer to return. I won't. Ever.
