    Iced Matcha Latte (pre-mix)

Giving thoughts on this spot as a cafe, though it's such an interesting hybrid with more to offer. Egg Street took over Capsule Cafe, unfortunately one less Taiwanese spot but welcoming this cozy Korean cafe. Service was friendly and fantastic with answering questions. Convenient location little bit up the ave. One washroom available with code (key search terms bathroom, restroom). Guest wifi is also available. There's a tiny table by the entrance and then additional seats further inside, including longer benches meant for multiple parties. Menu is pretty sweet as there's something for everyone. Most items are just as easy to takeout as they are to dine in casually. There's one large kiosk to order from which makes life easy. Wasn't too hungry so just went for a matcha while doing some work. Iced Matcha Latte - I think it's advertised as Jeju matcha which is neat. Believable with how smooth the matcha was, but I'm inclined to believe they blend the matcha and preserve it in a squeeze bottle based on presentation. Flavor was much better than most coffee shops, but fall a little short because of the sweetness. Unfortunately no ice or sugar adjustments, so it was too sweet and overwhelmed the earthy tones. With adjustments, would be solid.

The original street toast was a bit sweet but it grew on me. The toast was very soft and fluffy. The tofu skin kimbob was pretty good too. My picture doesn't capture how big each piece actually was. I also liked the sauce it came with, I even dipped the kimchi pancake in it. The kimchi pancake was very crispy. I dont think they skimp on the portion size. I've never had a cafe/restaurant serve 3 whole kimchi pancakes in one order. I only wish it came with its own dipping sauce. The misugaru latte felt like it was missing some something that I couldn't place. But it could just be a preference issue. The service is very friendly. Even though there is a kiosk for self-orders, the server came out to greet us while we ordered on the machine and made us feel welcome. They also served us cups of water when we sat down. Very clean inside and some cute decorations if you look closely.

Tried Egg Street on a Friday morning and really enjoyed it! The vibes here are bright and sunny great for solo or group diners. The service here was great; everyone was warm and welcoming! The original street toast and kimbap were both delicious and satisfying. The kimchi pancake was crispy and flavorful. The Misugaru latte had a grainy texture, which wasn't my personal favorite, but my friends liked it. Highly recommend the kimchi pancake, kimbap, and the sandwiches!

I really loved the fish roe kimbap, we also got the tuna, tteokbokki and ramen. Unfortunately the tteokbokki portion felt really small, without much soup to go with it, and also wasn't very spicy. The other food was pretty good but the wait time was way too long for what it is and what you're paying for.

The tofu kimbap was really good! I wish it had indicated there was sesame seeds on it or that the order kiosk had a place to have indicated no sesame. I got to go but the staff person who passed me my order was really nice and gave me a little bag and extra cup to hold my drink. It's a cute but lively little spot with k pop playing on tv and several tables in the arch shaped space. Good use of the odd layout so it doesn't actually feel that small.

Amazing ambiance, service, food, and drink! Hands down - my favorite Korean spot on the Ave right now!

My friend and I got the original street toast and walking inside it was clean and empty. The food was served in a decent amount of time and it was pretty good like the sweetness of the egg. However, it's not worth the price given that we paid 15.49 for it since we can make it our own. I feel like the price isn't reasonable for this toast.

Bit overpriced for basic Korean food and the portion size, and it took a while to come out despite it not being busy. But the interior is cute and the servers are kind and attentive. The kimbap was also well-made and delicious. Not many good korean spots on the ave so this one in comparison is pretty decent.

Kate Was the nicest and funniest worker ever and her service was amazing. I recommend the matcha Korean iced coffee and tteobaki !!!!!!!

The food here is delicious and the staff amazingly friendly and welcoming! They play really relaxing music and the building is so clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend supporting this small business, they are !

Wow if you get any noodles, you get a huge noodle soup! the noodles come in a decadent soup separately from the rest. What a cool concept! I didn't get to try the non-buffet section but heard amazing things. Ambience - 9/10 -- love the cozy vibe Service - 9/10 -- food is served quickly! Quality - 8/10 -- low on variety + but delicious for what they do have! Value - 9/10 -- $14.99/lb solid for the concept! especially if you get noodles Overall - 8.8/10

Pretty fun concept located in UDistrict! Just like a lot of gacha related stuff, a lot of money is involved - here, for a chance to use the capsule machine to get either toys or some promotion, you need to spend $25 before tax and tip which is fairly high if everyone in the party wants one. We did end up doing that, by trying out the braised soup as well as some of the hot food menu. The braised soup is $14.99/lb and is a similar concept to that of YGF Malatang in UDistrict, where you get a bowl and tongs to put in whatever you want and they will cook it for you. They have vegetables, tofu, noodles, fish balls, and sliced beef you can choose from. I got a little bit because we also got hot food, and it was solid. I opted for a little bit of spicy so there are some spicy peppers thrown in a rich, thick soup. They separate out the noodles from the other ingredients in a bowl which is interesting. We also tried the braised pork over rice, popcorn chicken, chicken fillet, and fried king oyster mushroom. The braised pork over rice is very flavorful and good, and it is perfect to pair this with one of the other dishes like popcorn chicken or king oyster mushroom. The popcorn chicken itself is well-spiced, though portions are on the smaller end for the price of $8. The chicken fillet has more chicken overall and less breading, but it has spices and preparation similar to the popcorn chicken. The king oyster mushroom also has similar spices and preparation methods, and is like the vegetarian option. Overall, the food is decent and the bonus is that even though after tax and tip our order is over $75, but we were $1 short of 3 coins (3x$25), the cashier still let us have it since the 4 of us ordered so much food overall. However, in terms of price versus quality, I have had better and the food here is priced in a way that it is hard to go just over $25, and you end up over-ordering as you feel like you are just so close to getting the capsule that not spending a few bucks more will trigger sink cost fallacy.

I came here for the gatcha capsule! I had to eat 25 dollars worth of food for it, which I felt was a bit too pricy. I got a cute bunny though! I thought the ambiance was nice with little figurines decorating a wall. I came here 20 minutes til close so I could only do take out. I got braised pork over rice which was delicious! I also got corn dogs, mozzarella sticks, fried king oyster mushrooms and sesame balls. I told them to cover it in hot spice since I like it spicy. Theres a lingering kick that you should definitely watch out for! I ended up in a food coma on account of all the food I ate. Just look at the photos of all the food I took. Tell me that wouldn't put you in a food coma! I hear the main dish is the soup so I will need to try that the next time I come here.

Their foods are scrumptious and probably the most authentic Taiwanese cuisine I've eaten in Seattle. I wish they can open soon.

The crowds are less heavy now and yelp joining the waitlist is super convenient. We were still en route and made it within 15 minutes but were removed from the waitlist because we didn't answer the 3 minute call. Nonetheless, we only waited 10min for another table. The dining area that is nearest to reception can get "cold" particularly the corner, we sat there once and your elders will not like it. Today we got seated there again and decided to wait for the other side where the AC wasn't full blast. Its all chill. Friendly, accommodating staff. The food comes fast, like Din Tai Fung. The cost too, is like DTF. Overall, its good, but not worth the higher cost, but the service and cleanliness make it a combined 5 Star. The Kalbi Tang is the star, a must get every single visit.

It is set up like a cute korean style bar with small round tables which make sharing easier. They have a pretty good selection on their menu and we ordered a couple of items to share. The Rose Ttoekbokki with cheese was very yummy, but it kinda tasted like pasta with rice cakes instead of spaghetti. I think that is the point of this dish, so if you want a more traditional spicy flavor then get the other ttoekbokki option (spicy rice cakes). We still loved this one and the rice cakes were so chewy and delicious. The cheese corn was very yummy and exactly what you would expect. It pairs perfectly with the other dishes. My friends also shared the Seafood ramen and Beef bulgogi. They liked both dishes. One of our favorite things were the side dishes actually! The tofu was so yummy, and the bean sprouts were so crunchy and well seasoned. We even asked for extra! The only aspect that makes it difficult to come more often is the price point. Since the dishes are so big and shareable, it is easy to split amongst a group, but it is a little less affordable to come here for dinner and drinks.

Most recently I had the kimchi jigae, which was relatively spicy, even when I asked for less spicy (and they said they could accommodate). I'd say it was like 2-3 stars. Flavor was great though and it was a decent portion (for $17) and satisfying. Also, a pretty wide range of menu options, despite it being a small place. There were 4 complimentary banchan dishes (napa kimchi, cucumber kimchi, seasoned bean sprouts, and fish cakes). Note that I don't think there are free refills like other places... maybe you can ask but I didn't see anyone doing so. For 1-2 people, it's a relatively generous amount. I've tried galbitang at other places, but there was an umami that many didn't have. All the banchan were flavorful too, I thought the kimchi had a good balance as sometimes it can be a bit on the saltier side. Service was great too, the sever was friendly and checked often.
