My wife loves to come to Egen Joe's and have the strawberry cheesecake. French toast. I usually have one of the omelettes. Today we had a waitress by the name of Lyndsay. Wow! We have eaten here 20 times for this is the first time she's waited on us. What a great addition she was to our dining experience Pleasant, responsive anticipation of our wants. Rare that we have a waitress this excellent. We really like the toast check out too. Avoids to awkward tipping encounter face to face. "That's what you are leaving me "

1/29/26 Parking 5/5 Big shopping day, we were in the area and I had a major hangry going on. We returned for our second visit because of our last great experience. Parking 5/5 Arrived ~9:00 and sailed into a space near the entrance without hunting. Atmosphere 5/5 Eggs & Joe is a bright, nicely decorated modern restaurant that is well kept and comfortable. Staff add to the welcoming atmosphere. Service 5/5 Another great experience during our visit. Today we had the pleasure of being served by Jay who wasn't Joe like his badge Egg N' Joe says. It all worked out, Jay or Joe finally got his humor on and we tested our quick-wit throughout. Jay you're cool! Food 5/5 Spoiler alert food review coming and this is where Joe or Jay really shinned, let the order begin. Two Coffees got us smiling, followed by a Denver omelette, crunchy hash browns and pancake and for me, the Chorizo Egg Benedict and Hollandaise with fruit and the Florentine Omelette with Hollandaise ala-cart, both were light and together filling. Everything we ordered was delicious and noteworthy which will bring us back again! $72.40 with well deserved cash tip for Joe or Jay or who know's maybe Frank. ; ). Eat well my friends-SYOY

Place was nice and clean and plenty of parking that's a plus. We were able to sit outside the patio area. The only down side we only got to see waiter 3 times took our order, brought our order, and to pay. As for the food okay. I got biscuits and gravy sadly, gravy had no flavor. Overall, I would comeback

Came here on a Saturday with my family and we were seated quickly even though it was very busy. Our server Karen seemed busy but she was efficient and everything came out as asked! Food was very yummy and just what I needed. Cute diner vibes! Will be returning for a good yummy breakfast!

Been wanting to come here for a long time with no work today decided to come here after the gym. Our waitress Karen was so friendly and helpful. Walked us through the menu so many good options to choose from I went with one of their featured omelettes and it was absolutely delicious the coffee was excellent. Will definitely be coming back to this place many times over.

Worth the time to drop by for some early breakfast on a weekday. Enjoyed my hot coffee and my go to breakfast of a classic Eggs Benedict. Play on doing this next time I have an early appointment.

Oh today, I had the three very crate. It looked nothing like the pitcher, but it was pretty good. Couple eggs and bacon. Leah waited on me. Coffee was always full. I'll be back. Have you order the stuffed hashbrowns next time they seem to hit the spot better egg and Joe is set up like a 50s diner pretty cool ambience worth checking out

My husband and I love to visit Egg n Joe every now and then. A great diner experience and I must say we are impressed with their coffee, German Pancakes, and Their Crabacado Benedict. Yum. A must try for a great experience.

Super clean work space! Impressive on a busy Saturday morning!!

I enjoyed everything I had. First of all the restaurant was super clean! I mean I looked around for those typical messy spots - like the over flow spills in the dirty dish bins - nope, every was clean and tidy @9:30 AM on a busy Saturday! I ordered the German pancake with eggs and sausage. Everything tasted fresh, even the pork sausage links were flavorful and fresh. Overall this restaurant felt more like a mom and pop place than part of a chain. Our server Brandon was on top of things refilling our coffee cups without our having to ask. I had an excellent first visit and was left w/a positive impression, looking forward to my next visit - for the eggs Benedict!!

Had some things to do in Gilbert and stumbled upon this gem. It was busy the whole time we were there but we got seated right away. The service here was awesome. They were friendly, fast, and informational. We had the hungry rancher breakfast and chicken fried steak and eggs. Both plates had a lot of food and it was all really good. This is a modern style breakfast ambiance with holiday music playing. On a side note, because we're 1st time customers we were given a letter of welcome and a coupon for the next time we are back. I will definitely be back, the food, service, and ambiance is too good not to be back. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Had a great experience at Egg N Joe. We arrived at around 9:45 and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was crowded with just a few tables left so we're glad we got seated quickly. I noticed an hour in is when the wait was getting long. When we got seated we were quickly greeted by the staff and they were super friendly and attentive to our needs. I ordered a make your own omelette with a side of hash browns and fruit. The omelette was made perfectly with the perfect amount of cheese and other stuffings. The hash browns were also golden crisp and had a perfect taste. The vibe was overall great, with a traditional breakfast style atmosphere. Overall, had a great time and will be back

On a weekday in December, I visited this location for the first time and was immediately sat as a party of one. Pleasantly surprised as during the snowbird season it can be hit or miss on a weekend day, especially delicious breakfast locations which I had this bookmarked to try after other Yelpers raved about it. The seating is an open room so it can be a little loud, but I was thankfully seated at a booth on the wall to lessen the noise. My server was incredibly friendly and helped me decide on a wonderful Bloody Mary to celebrate my post-surgical follow-up appointment. If there is a vegetarian Benedict on the menu, you know I'm ordering! They had a solid hollandaise and I'd definitely return to have again as all my beverages and food was delightful!

Very cute for a chain breakfast spot Clean & organized Seems to flow & run efficiently Service was great- Arath was attentive, funny, & gave great hospitality Crepes were a great option- HUGE portion which kind of caught me off guard. Served with 2 eggs & your choice of protein Will definitely be back, knocked off a star because I wish there were more specialty options

The server was very nice and honest on giving me some recommendations. For food we decided to get the Brussel sprout salad (they split it for us) and the grilled cheese appetizer which was big! For dessert we tried their new dot cake which I didn't care for... it's not their fault though . I learned I just don't like dot cakes anywhere - it's just one of those viral fads that look great, but taste meh. I would always recommend Postino since it's always a vibe with consistent food.

A bunch of us from my spin class decided to get together on a Sunday for brunch and here's what I munched: Grande Chicken TInga Nachos ($18 - Shredded chicken tinga, queso, roasted tomato salsa, black beans, pico de gallo, roasted jalapeño, cilantro lime crema): Okay, maybe I don't recommend the nachos. While topped with a good amount of cheese on top, once congealed, any chip on the bottom that you pull out is just going to be a naked chip. They do top these chips off with a generous amount of toppings. Brunch Burger ($19 - Angus beef patty, sunny side egg, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, sriracha aioli, hash brown patty, brioche bun, choice of fresh fruit or breakfast potatoes): I shared this burger and requested the kitchen to cut it for me which they did. Very thankful that they were okay with the request. The burger itself was decent. It was a little weird to eat as the tiny hash brown patty made the structural integrity funny but it's not a deal breaker. I will say that it needed more sauce or something. The burger was dry after a few bites. I also had my lunch with the most savory and spicy Bloody Mary. It was amazing and probably one of my favorite Bloody Marys in a long while. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. My only real criticism is that the menu felt a bit limited, especially for vegetarians. My son had ordered food from here as takeout last year. The food taste was interesting, though, I really like the cheese dip for the pretzel bites. The bites were pretty big. Lots of tables at this location, a bit warm. But our party of 14 was easily accommodated. Our daughter chose this place and it was quite loud. My husband and I are quiet people, so if we were to choose again, probably not here because of the loudness and all the TVs all over the place. But for those who like it loud, TVs and do not mind the prices on the menu, have at it. I don't remember our server's name. If she told us, I couldn't hear what she said. She was alright. Honestly, I had a hard time hearing even my son who sat next to me, and hearing my sister who sat one seat over in front of me, I couldn't hear what she was saying. Loudness is an issue for me and I do not have hearing issues. Our bill with tip came to over $700+. That was the most expensive lunch we've ever spent for our party of 14. Typically we're in the $400-500 range. But it was a special occasion. My husband and son got the 36 hr ribs. My husband really loved them. My son said it was okay. I didn't ask my brother and BIL who also got the same dish. I know my BIL was unhappy that he didn't get the side he requested and when they gave it to him (asparagus, I think), it was cold and he wasn't pleased about this. I got the hub burger and it was okay. There was a lot on the burger, but the patty itself, didn't have that much flavor. Some of the "Starters" or appetizers things were salted too much, but the burger did not taste like it had any salt. I had eaten too many starters so when my food came, I wasn't very hungry and took most of it home and ate for dinner another night. My husband and son do not like coleslaw and I ate theirs. THIS I really liked and tasted much better than KFC. I loved the sweetness and that the cabbage was shredded bigger than KFC. The pretzel bites were good. We got wings, and they were so-so. The roasted brussel sprouts were too salty. The deviled eggs were okay, but pricey for 2.5 eggs, which I do pay at Trader Joe's for organic free range pasturized eggs I could've gotten over 2 dozens. But, yes, I pay for the service and ambiance. I really thought there would be more than 5 halves for the deviled eggs. We got the nachos and they were okay. The melted cheese sauce was the best part. My mom got the fish and chips and she seemed to pick at it. She didn't want to take home, so it must not have been that good because she almost always takes a doggy bag home. My sister had the salmon and it was in a huge bowl and didn't look to be that much food. It was pricey. One of my SILs got something I didn't recognize and she said it was okay. No one I could tell was over the moon with the taste of the food and I heard the word "interesting" quite a bit. It's not that it tasted bad, but it didn't really taste good good. You know what I mean? I did bring a special order cake I got at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Gilbert. I asked Culinary Dropout if we could borrow a cake cutter. They didn't have one. Weird. This was a Red Velvet cake and this was absolutely divine. It was moist. The frosting was some sort of yummy cream cheese frosting. The cake was perfectly sized for our party of 14. The cake was the best part of our meal and it didn't come from Culinary Dropout. I would pay this much for a meal at Roy's for lunch for this sized party, but alas, all the Roy's in the valley are closed down. So sad. I'm not saying this place is bad or the food tastes bad. It's okay and pricey. If the food was great or amazing, we don't mind pricey. We have paid over $1K for meals for our big party, and happily do so when the food is equivalent to the price.

All dishes looked pretty good but on this day I was the burger guy. Not a large place but has ample seating for customers. They do have a bar if that is what you are looking for. Today we just wanted to eat and visit and chat. This place is located on Val Vista Road south of Highway 60. I would recommend this place if you are in the area. The service was good and there is ample parking.

My husband and I enjoy kicking off our Sunday close to the opening hour at 7am. We eat a delicious breakfast option inside first. My husband orders a breakfast sandwich while I don't just like but LOVE the avacado toast. If available, we take our coffee and sit outside on the patio. The coffee is full bodied and delicious. My husband is a hot mocha guy. They have ice water at the front and in their spacious backyard seating area. It is a dog friendly destination. We enjoy seeing the wide variety of furry regulars. There are free treats for them. The service is consistently friendly and on top of their game. They really know how to move a line but you never feel rushed. They offer a points/ reward program for purchases which is always nice. When I asked my husband about cost he said it is so good he didn't even look! I checked our transaction history. For both of us including tip it was around $44- very decent in this day and age for such high quality. What a gem in Downtown Chandler!

My friend and I both ordered mediums with 75% sweetness, and it was the perfect drink for a hot, humid summer morning. Sweet enough to feel like a treat without being over the top. We also ordered matching bagel sandwiches. I do wish they offered a turkey bacon option, but the sandwiches were still hot, fresh, and delicious. The real star was the mayo aioli. I could probably put that on just about anything. The vibes are wonderful too. It's cozy, welcoming, and the kind of coffee shop where you want to linger with a friend for a while. My only critique is the layout of the front room. There always seems to be a line, but there's not really a good place for it to go besides in front of the entrance and the water station. It turns into a lot of "excuse me" and people weaving around each other. It's definitely a good problem to have because they're clearly popular, but I hope as they continue to flourish, they're able to expand into a larger space or rethink the flow a bit. Either way, I'll absolutely be back. Just save me another coconut brown sugar latte.
