I made a return visit to Egg N Bird to try the chicken sandwich. I got the Country Bird this time along with fries and a water. The sandwich came with pickles so I had them left off and when I received the order they were indeed left off. Kudos. The chicken seemed to be two tenders on the bun and it took me a bit by surprise. The taste was fine so it wasn't a deal breaker. The thing that did surprise me were the fries. No more crinkle cut. Those are my favorite and unfortunately they were replaced with crispy batter coated type fries. Initially I was definitely disappointed but they tasted ok. I don't know if the crinkle cut type have become too expensive or if they have an issue keeping them stocked. I think all in all I wasn't wowed but the food was fine. read more

I don't normally write reviews buti had to write one this time because this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. Service was extremely slow and it took almost an hour to get our food. The entire staff looked lost and worked with no urgency despite a room full of angry customers waiting for their food. After I received my order I drove home and unwrapped my sandwich only to see my sandwich smashed AND it was missing avocado. I basically waited an hour for my food only to get a smashed up sandwich that was missing half the main ingredients. Save your money and avoid this establishment. read more

Worst Dining Experience Ever - Unprofessional Manager, Terrible Service! I rarely leave reviews, but after the horrible experience I had at this establishment I feel compelled to share. This was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had, and it all started with the incredibly rude manager. I believe her name is Nicole she seemed to have a TERRIBLE attitude and even her facial expressions seemed to look like she did not enjoy working there next time I rather buy a hot dog infront of Home Depot. The establishment it self looks organized pretty sure thanks to the other workers however my concern is with the manager she seems to not have any type of good skills managing an establishment which I hope her superiors take a look at !!! This place is absolutely great. The food is fresh and well-executed, we've not been disappointed yet and we've come in a half-dozen times. Wish the lighting wasn't SO harsh - its bright enough to perform surgery - so dining in isn't preferred over take-out or delivery, but I find myself craving the Island Bird bowl and the grilled chicken avocado bowl OFTEN. The meat is deliciously seasoned. We had it for dinner tonight and I knew I owed them a five-star review. This is one of the worst establishments I have been to in years. The service was incredibly bad, we ordered online and were greeted by nothing but a dirty look and a note book slapped down on the counter in front of us and told "sign this" when we let the lady working the register in the front know we were there to pick up an order. There were 0 customers inside when we went in around 7 o clock last night, every one of the employees looked like they hated their job and hated us for coming inside. Asking for some hot sauce that was behind the counter seemed to ruin this girls day like we asked her for some outlandish thing when it was right behind the counter lol. And now the food .. it looked like it was slapped together by someone blind folded, we got a burrito and a sandwich both were completely falling apart and soggy, the chicken was a very off putting grey color and tasted like it was cooked 10 hours ago then microwaved before throwing it in our bag of food. I wish I would've taken pictures but me and my girlfriend both had a couple bites and the threw all the food away, absolutely disgusting and I'm one of those people that will still eat my food at a restaurant if it's wrong rather than send it back to the kitchen but this food was terrible. I'm shocked with the amount of good reviews this place has and maybe we just went on the wrong night. The cashier was super sweet and helpful. I got crack sauce and cilantro aioli on the side. The sandwiches are decent sized and I was already getting full since the chicken pieces are so large. I really wanted to like this place and I feel like it can be a 4 star place for some others, but I felt that I should share my piece of the cake. I've ordered here 3 times and all 3 times were the popular egg n bird sandwich in hopes of trying to like it. I'll preface this in that I am not a huge fan of "sweet" when it comes to a meal that stands as a sandwich or burger. If you're reading this, then you know exactly where I'm going with this review. The egg n bird comes with both honey and crack sauce. I'll be upfront and honest, but it's WAY too sweet. Ketchup and maybe honey-mustard are as far as I go when it comes to burgers or sandwiches but unfortunately, the egg n bird just feels like it was lathered with the sauces (the honey and crack sauce) straying away from the taste of anything in the sandwich. You won't taste the chicken, the egg, the cheese, and you won't even taste the bacon because of how sweet it is. So, I gave my 2nd try with having the honey removed but everything else the same, including the crack sauce. Although, it was not nearly as sweet as the original, the crack sauce is just too sweet still. I still couldn't even taste the egg, the chicken, the cheese, or the bacon. I feel like Egg N Bird's crack sauce was their take on In N Out's spread or the good ol fashion Thousand Island dressing; however, there's just too much sugar. I finally gave the egg n bird sandwich one last try without the crack sauce or honey. Unfortunately, it was quite the disappointment. Although the chicken seemed fresh and somewhat juicy, there was absolutely no flavor to the chicken itself. I was expecting the typical saltiness that all other chicken sandwiches have but this had none at all. The whole sandwich itself was not so flavorful aside from the bacon. On a side note, their fries are fire and highly recommended. As expected, their dirty fries tasted just as sweet as the burger because of their crack sauce. When it comes to the size, they are definitely generous when it comes to the fries and even the chicken slices too, but just way too sweet. Reading several reviews here, I felt I would do this place a disservice if I rated this place 2 stars or below so I'll keep it at 3. BUT, I can see why many others rate this place 4 stars because they like that sweetness. Long story short, if you are a fan of sweet sauces (by sweet, I mean VERY sweet) on your sandwiches or burgers, this is your spot. BEWARE: NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY My husband & i decided to try out Egg N Bird because we love chicken sandwiches & loaded fries. The woman working the register was very kind, but didn't seem to understand the system very well. We had to repeat the order a couple times before she was able to get it right. She read us back our order: 1 Egg n Bird with avocado, 1 Nashville Hot with no coleslaw & an over easy egg and their Dirty Fries. The food came out pretty fast which was nice, but immediately we noticed that we did not receive Dirty Fries, but regular fries. Then I noticed that the Nashville Hot had coleslaw & the Egg n Bird didn't have avocado. It was a complete miss. My husband brought the food back to the counter and let the woman know the order was wrong & she said she would fix it. About a minute later, the woman returns and tells us that she didn't charge us for the Dirty Fries, but the regular fries & we would have to pay $9 more for the Dirty Fries. Our order was already $34.57, so we decided to just keep the normal fries. Once our food came back out, my husband noticed instantly that the fries were cold. Most likely because they didn't give us fresh fries but just re-served the fries we had already returned to the kitchen. Not to mention the add-on egg on the Nashville Hot was definitely not over easy, which normally wouldn't bother me, but don't ask how I want my egg if they're not going to make it that way. The food itself was okay, a very standard chicken sandwich. I will say, the Nashville Hot is not spicy, the "Hot" spice level is very much mild and it was insanely greasy.
