First visit to Egg 'n Bird. I tried the limited time only, King's Hawaiian® Grilled Chicken & Avocado Sandwich without red onion and added cheese (extra charge). Although it looks messy, it was real tasty. I'll definitely return and looking forward to exploring other items on the menu. The service was good, the ladies there informed me it would be 10mins for the grilled chicken to cook and they brought the food to my table when ready. If I were to nitpick for one thing I didn't like, it would be that the music was just a little too loud or perhaps next time I shouldn't sit in the corner underneath the wall mounted speaker. read more

Egg N Bird - Kings Hawaiian Grilled Chicken & Avocado Sandwich (+ added cheese) with fries & crack sauce. - Chicken Shop Near Me - Upland, California

Food was fantastic. We ordered the egg and bird sandwich and the island bird plate. When I first saw the menu I was thrown off at the ethnic food variety it's not just one type how can they make it all taste good. But they kept it simple and boy did they nail it. And because the menu is simple they are able to have the food fresh and ready to order. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I did see a lot of pick up order go thru but there are a few tables to sit and eat. This is not a fast food and is not a sit down restaurant. But the quality is there. Don't forget the sauce read more

Finally was able to try this place. I have been wanting to come by, but it is not in the most convenient location. However, I am glad I made the visit! All the reviews are correct price point is a little high, but the quality and size of the chicken sandwich was well worth it. I used the check-in offer to get the free french fries. Service was very good. I did have to wait for my order a little longer than anticipated. I usually don't mind if I know that my meal will be prepared fresh. There were also four orders ahead of me so it took a few minutes, but I was glad to see that this place is busy. I'm not a big fan of spicy. I had the Banh Mi sandwich, no jalapeno and it was delicious. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Saw this place on Yelp and I had to come try it myself! I got the grilled chicken avocado bowl & the side of macaroni salad and let me tell y'all it was delicious ‍! ( note to self & everyone else : please get a side of any sauce that comes in your meal because their sauces are to die for it brings so much flavor) I think they do charge a couple cents more though. The price for my meal was $15ish which included the bowl, macaroni salad and a medium drink. You can see from the pictures the amount of food and although they could have been a little more generous with the serving size, I can't complain because it was very filling. The service I will say could do a little better. It was pretty fast but not as welcoming with the people taking your order. Just wanted to include that bc I know for some it matters. The ambiance was nice. Many places to sit and I loved that the inside looked very modern. Overall, great place with great flavor ! I would like to try their egg bird sandwich the next time I visit. read more

Love this place so sad to have to leave a note 5 start cause that's what it deserves but they just recently scaled back their menu and got rid of my favorite thing and a lot of people I know are so bummed too. Please bring back the full menu and the Nashville bowl then I can bring my review up to what this place deserves read more

Service - 5 stars, we came early on 3.25.23 and had a great experience because of our cashier. She was friendly and knowledgeable and super kind. Prices are just right. Food - it is good, your typical franchise menu and food quality. We had the Korean bowl (no Mayo) and my husband had the Buff Bird Sandwich. It's ok, nothing over the top. My Korean Bowl had maybe a tablespoon of slaw I definitely wanted more, the fried onions were so small and maybe had 1/2 teaspoon and the rice and chicken were lukewarm. My husbands fries needed a ton more seasoning/salt. Lastly food gets 3 stars because.......You can see the kitchen from the register and I had a hard time getting past the young cook not wearing a hairnet or hat, he had awesome curly hair that was longer but not awesome in the kitchen! Then later around 11:15am another lady came in for her shift to work the kitchen and she also didn't have any hair covering and had long hair extensions. Ambiance - clean, fun theme and very inviting. They only have a few tables so not to much inside seating options. read more

Came here on a friday night and it was dead. No one was here so that meant that I didn't have to wait long, which was a plus. The women working inside were all so nice and welcoming. We decided to get our order togo since our toddler was creeping towards his bedtime. I got the 4 piece tender combo and my wife got the 12 piece wings. The tenders were good and crisp, the fries were good, the sauce is delicious. My wife enjoyed her bbq wings but she said her buffalo felt like it was buffalo on crack haha it was pretty hot. We also got a side of the corn, it was okay nothing too crazy read more

Hands down some of the best fried chicken I've had in the area! I ordered 2 bowls the original and the Nashville Hot. Now, I don't eat cole slaw, but I eat Egg and Birds! It's the oerfect side kick to the cruncy, juicy, flavored chicken, comes with rice and a Mac salad. Mac Salad is fire, full of flavor! The place gets busy so Hurry up try out this spot! It's going to make a mark in the I.E. read more

Today was their grad opening. Came in and was greeted nicely by the gentleman at the register. He gave us recommendations and was very informative. I went with the Nashville Hot sandwich. It was very tasty . I love that they have seasoned fries and their crack sauce is yummy. It's an aioli sauce with a little sweet and spice to it. Totally recommend! read more

I'm always in the mood to try a new chicken wing place . So when I saw this place I had to come and try it. They seemed to have just recently opened, so the prices are still more than fair. You can get a bowl for less than $10, which is unheard of these days. They even have a breakfast menu, which is nice. The inside is really small. Maybe 6 or so tables only. But it was nice and clean. And the smells of the spices were really nice. We ordered their Korean hot burger as well as their bowl version of it, island bird bowl and a 6 peice garlic parmesan chicken wings. The food came out quickly. It was cooked well. And it tasted amazing!!! I love the heat from the Korean hot bowl. I love the flavors of it. It had a thick sticky sauce, but the outside of the chicken was still crunchy. And the white meat of the chicken was so moist!!! I don't know how they do it. I've rarely had an order of garlic parmesan chicken wings be a wet sauce. This one was one of the wettest garlic parmesan sauces I've ever had!!! But it worked. Full of garlic and parmesan flavors. Again, skin was crunchy, the inside of the chicken was moist. You can hear full on conversations of the people working here since it's an open kitchen. But that's cool since they have music playing overhead. I really enjoyed eating here. The chicken is just so amazing. They have a good amount of choices to choose from. I can't wait to try the other flavored wings they have, and to further expand and develop their menu!! read more

I guess they had a change in management recently. The amount of food is less than before, the prices stood the same. Removed a bunch of items from the menu, no more banana pudding! read more

Food was ok, service was slow waited over 20 mins at one point there were 7 of us waiting inside and 3 outside all waiting for our food

I randomly stumbled on this place after leaving Home Depot, I was hungry and randomly in Upland so I'm like "say less" When I say it's been a year and I still heavily order online from this place because everything is so good! lol I'll pay delivered fees for this place haha I just recently ordered their new K Town chicken wrap (grilled chicken) and it's absolutely amazing! I order it as is, and it was delicious. I hope the wraps stay on the menu Shoutout the whoever made that wrap, it was perfect. read more

Bad experience, felt embarrassed sad for my lil ones who wanted to eat . I go for first time to order food got like 3 things coast over 50 dollars when I go pay I gove the lady $100 dollars she trys to scan it on her machine I guess her machine wasn't working so she goes to the back ask the cook if it's ok to take it he looks real quick then shakes his head no to her after us having our drinks already strait profiled me infront of my kids . I'm debating on sending a complaint because it's not right and doesnt make sense u meals already expensive and my order was more than 50 dollars but didn't want to take my money . read more

Heard nothing but positive reviews about ENB so decided to make a quick stop (Togo). Service- was good, very informative and accommodating. Food- came out quickly.... I ordered the breakfast burrito, it was very flavorful and the chicken was crispy yet full of meat (just as it should be) would definitely order again. Also got an order of 6pc garlic parmesan wings, and I will say I usually like this flavor dry but here they come in a wet sauce and it was surprisingly good. However, I was only able to take a couple bites due to the chicken being undercooked, so had to toss them. Aside from the undercooked chicken experience was good, will come back again to try their bowls/sandwiches and will probably skip the wings. read more

I got the egg and bird breakfast sandwich. it was very good and the ingredients were very tasteful. However, I waited about 25 minutes for my sandwich to come out and multiple people that ordered after me got their food before. The staff seems to be overwhelmed and understaffed, and they do not have enough people to keep up with the demand of orders, however this is not their fault. They were very nice and we're doing their best. This is a management problem. Overall Great prices for what the food is! Very much potential main problem is just the service. read more

I LOVE the food here. The Korean bowl and the classic sandwich are the best. I'm a sucker for an egg on anything. Not much seating inside (if any at all now that I think about it) The only thing I have to say, is that whenever I pick up my order, the employees don't look all that happy to be there. I've never had an issue with my order and my food has always been delicious. And I work in customer service too, so I understand it's not always exciting. But hey, maybe try to crack a smile once in a while read more

We put in a large order for pick up at this location and we were all very pleased with our food. The Korean bowl is so, so good and the dirty fries?! OMG...you have to try them!! Make sure to get extra sauce, both the crack sauce and the cilantro aioli are a-ma-zing! My fave is the cilantro aioli, creamy, green, with a bit of a kick. You can add avocado to any bowl, the Korean bowl has a fried egg on top, which pushes it over the top for me! Friendly staff, they gave us lots of extra sauces, small, but clean and cute inside with some tables for dining. If you're looking for all things crispy, flavorful, fried chicken, this place is definitely pro! read more

So good! Welcome to Upland Egg and Bird! Decided to go in for a breakfast sandwich and so glad I did! I their signature sandwich the egg and bird and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! From the egg Sunnyside down, bacon, sauce---saucy soooo good and flavorful! And there's 2 chicken tenders in it. Well worth the price- But it is messy, so either ask for it to be cut in half or take it home to eat haha I also ordered 4 chicken strips a la Carte, pro tip get the seasoned fries. But it is a lil pricey. Overall, the breakfast sandwich was delicious and I can't wait to bring my family- my brother is going to LOVE this place and so will you and yours! read more

Me and my son stopped for a bit at this chicken spot. I had the banh mi chicken sandwich which was okay not flavorful enough. My son had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which he liked. Greta new spot for breakfast and lunch! Affordable pricing for all options. The breakfast burrito was amazing with a hint of sweetness to the chicken. Highly recommend breakfast burrito!!! I made a return visit to Egg N Bird to try the chicken sandwich. I got the Country Bird this time along with fries and a water. The sandwich came with pickles so I had them left off and when I received the order they were indeed left off. Kudos. The chicken seemed to be two tenders on the bun and it took me a bit by surprise. The taste was fine so it wasn't a deal breaker. The thing that did surprise me were the fries. No more crinkle cut. Those are my favorite and unfortunately they were replaced with crispy batter coated type fries. Initially I was definitely disappointed but they tasted ok. I don't know if the crinkle cut type have become too expensive or if they have an issue keeping them stocked. I think all in all I wasn't wowed but the food was fine. read more

Very tasty! We got the sliders, dirty fries, and Korean fried chicken sandwich. They were all very flavorful but very greasy.

Love their burrito ... there is a challenge with the bathroom .... No one made an attempt to make sure the patron using the bathroom more than 15 min was ok and there were several of us whom paid for food that did not have the chance to go to the bathroom.... The attendant suggested we use the restroom at the next door subway... not a great suggestion ... don't think I'll be coming coming back nor ordering again read more

This place is absolutely great. The food is fresh and well-executed, we've not been disappointed yet and we've come in a half-dozen times. Wish the lighting wasn't SO harsh - its bright enough to perform surgery - so dining in isn't preferred over take-out or delivery, but I find myself craving the Island Bird bowl and the grilled chicken avocado bowl OFTEN. The meat is deliciously seasoned. We had it for dinner tonight and I knew I owed them a five-star review. Hope this place retains its awesomeness, its a welcome addition to our fast-casual dining options in Upland. read more

BEST CHICKEN SANDO FR. y'all when i say i live, laugh, love, and breathe chicken sandwiches i mean it. this is by far top 3 best chicken sandwiches i've had EVER. i've had my fair share of chicken sandwiches and this one is just *chefs kiss*. it's currently almost 1am and i'm STILL thinking about how amazing it was. it's insanely crispy and flavorful. i bought this and drove home (about a 30ish min drive) and it was still SO CRISPY (and warm). this was my first time going here and i definitely recommend. i got the nashville chicken sandwich (hot) and it wasn't hot at all imo. i honestly did not expect to love a chicken sandwich so much :,) i truly wish it was closer to me T_T read more
