My wife and I had the opportunity to have The Big Easy Sandwich cater our wedding and we couldn't have had a better experience. First off, the owners, Joe and Aracely, are the two most honest and hard working couple. We contacted them a year before the wedding to set up a consultation and they willing agreed to travel with us to view the venue. Their insight and knowledge of large events was extremely helpful in order for my wife and I to decide what we wanted. We discussed what our vision was for the wedding and they had so many great ideas. After a couple days, we received a quote with a break down of cost and supplies. We were blown away by how reasonable their pricing was! We were stoked and their was no question they were the team we wanted to cater our special day. Day of the wedding. The Big Easy Sandwich showed up early to prep and set-up. They brought a team of cooks and servers (this is a family run business so the cooks and servers were Joe and Aracely with their son and daughter) and rocked it! They served 160 people in no time! Still to this day we have friends and family raving about how amazing the food was. We could not be more grateful for their service and would recommend them to anyone for small or large catering events! Thank you The Big Easy Sandwich!

Super tasty blackened fish topped with slaw and a green salsa that has just the right amount of kick, wrapped up in a warm corn tortilla. Oh, and a side of cajon seasoned fries cooked to perfection. Excellent sandwich and excellent service. Had a jalapeño maple burger and my friend had creole roast beef sandwich. Pulled pork sandwich & onion rings left me full and happy. I'm not even a pulled pork fan because it usually gives me an upset stomach from all the grease, but it actually wasn't super greasy (maybe the bun absorbed it?). I've never been to the big easy and the only pulled pork anything I've tried usually involves BBQ sauce, but this still had a savory taste and flavor minus the globs of sauce. Same goes for the onion rings, the batter wasn't super greasy and I could've eaten them without any sauce. I'd definitely recommend this food truck as it's unique and they care about their finished product. read more

Whenever their truck is out, I have to stop by. I love their chicken sandwiches and my sister always gets the burgers. It is one of the better food trucks I have tried and I know I will satisfied after going there. You see them at market nights and sometimes they are parked on the corner of a main drag. Really good sandwiches along with the hamburger. Every tome we visit the food is as good as the last vIsit. The staff is friendly, the prices are fair and they use fresh ingredients from the buns to to the different meats. My girlfriend and I came to last name brewery for an afternoon filled with beer and laughs but we unknowingly took a gastronomic tour of the French quarter thanks to big easy sandwich,the service was quick although it was still mid afternoon and sales where surely going to pick up as the day cools off,they offer a verity of food ranging from the more traditional NOLA affair all the way to fusion offerings such as their creole roast beef tacos. I gave this place 5/5 based on service,cleanliness,wait time and of course the food,this place is great place will recommend to friends and family. read more

I have had their food several times, and it never fails to be satisfying and delicious. Was lucky enough to got to an event that was catered by them this past week. The shrimp boil they did at Last Name Brewing was DA BOMB. The shrimp were tender and delicious, and the trimmings were terrific. I hope to enjoy the meal again some time. read more

Just ate at this place next to Last Name Brewing. I had the Big Easy Burger with Cajun Fries. It was one of the best burgers I ever had. It was topped with pulled pork, pepper jack cheese, and a Chipotle sauce. Also the staff was super friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend this place if you run into it. read more

I had some reservations because of a previous review stating their fish tacos were salty. I'm glad I went with my gut and bought them anyways. These tacos are not salty at all, it's almost like they don't use salt and it's not like they need too. Very delicious fish tacos. The cajon fries are top notch and that BBQ sauce, I want to take the bottle home! If you want fish tacos, these are worth the price of admission. read more

The big easy trailer is really really good because they have such unique and authentic flavors from their tacos to their quesadillas. I had them cater my grad party and it was a hit everyone absolutely loved their especially me. Their pulled pork sandwich and well as their burger and tacos are what they are renown for. Their fries are so fresh and I love the Cajun spice they put with it. Pairs super well with any of Last Name Brewery's beers!!! read more

It's been a few weeks since I returned home from a short vacation in New Orleans and what I've missed the most is the food. Thank God for The Big Easy Sandwich truck! Seriously, their food was amazing. They prepared a Shrimp Boil for an event at Last Name Brewery in Upland and everything was absolutely delicious. Their Cajun seasoning and flavor totally hit the spot. Not only was the food delicious but the owners were extremely generous, accommodating and nice. We also told them that we were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and they never showed up to bring him dessert. I will most definitely not be coming back.

They provided us menus, pretty straightforward; choose seafood, add sides for an extra cost, choose the flavor, and the spice level. One thing not noted on the menu is that shrimp isn't peeled, but they can peel them for an extra $6. And each order comes in pound increments. No half a pound offered. Your table is also covered with paper so you can eat the seafood boil from there. They provide bibs and gloves for no charge. Ultimately, we enjoyed our meals. Everything was flavorful and, unlike some other seafood boil spots, it didn't leave us feeling like we had heartburn afterward. There's a little sink for you to clean your hands at, which is nice since you dont have to wait for the restroom to empty. The service is what was a bit off. Like we asked for 3 Cajun fry boats but only received 2. Drinks were mixed up, and the clam chowder didn't arrive until about 20 minutes after our seafood bags had already been delivered. If you want ranch for your fries, they charge 60 cents for a small container. For drink refills, they bring a pitcher, but it's the kind typically used for measuring ounces. The server also tended to reach across one end of the table to grab empty cups or pass out food. Since I was seated at the end, it felt awkward having to help pass things down, especially since there were other access points to reach people in our party. We left around 920pm. I only mention it because we were the last group there, and we all noticed the heater seemed to have been turned on. Restaurant sign says open til 10pm on Sat. but we saw them turn off their open sign when we went outside. Needless to say, service could have been better.

I can definitely be more upfront about my dietary needs moving forward when ordering, but even your employee admitted over the phone that chicken is not automatically part of the item that I ordered. If your staff wanted to add chicken to an item that should be seafood only, perhaps they should have asked if I was okay with that. After communicating with your employee about my concerns, I realized that the mistake on the food was secondary compared to the horrendous service I experienced when I shared my concerns. In your reply, you failed to mention anything regarding customer service that I mentioned, so let me say these facts again. I was hung up on several times over the phone, ignored multiple times when I showed up in person the next day, pressured to sign a claims release in order to get the refund, then was told I was an inconvenience to your business. Another fact is I lost my appetite after tasting your food yet was essentially called a liar when I came in the next day because I didn't appear sick to your employee. I cannot believe that is how your employee was allowed to treat a customer and I honestly hope you had a serious conversation with them. For the record, I was signed out of my main account for several months and did leave a review on a temporary account. Once I gained access to my main account, the review on my temporary account got deleted because that account got deleted. I operate on only one account and needed to re-write any reviews that got deleted. Looks like someone reported my review for your business, so I did revise it to better follow yelp's guidelines. Therefore, it is absolutely not an exact duplicate of the previous review. The real impact here is not only the loss of appetite, but also how I was treated after I raised concerns. It really was one of the most horrendous experience with restaurant staff. I will never again feel comfortable stepping inside your restaurant that is careless enough to scoop an item that was already made with chicken in it instead of making a fresh one with only seafood then try to pressure a customer to sign a claims release to protect yourselves. Nice try, but I'm not falling for that and neither should anyone else.

The Big Easy put on a shrimp boil at Last Name and it was so good!!! Cajun shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn. I wish they did this more often, I would come every time! Aside from the good, the customer service is greatm the staff and owner are always in a good mood and very welcoming. Definitely recommend them! read more
