I missed them, and am happy to see they're still doing well! The interior seating is pretty limited and there's only one outdoor seat that sits in the sun, but that shouldn't be too much of an issue as sandwiches are pretty quick to eat! When the employee took my order, she repeated it back correctly as two sesame bagels and two everything bagels. However, when I received my order and checked it before leaving, I discovered that I had only been given two sesame bagels and one everything bagel. When I politely asked about the missing everything bagel, the employee insisted that I had only ordered one. She also refused to provide her name when asked. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, I was required to pay again for the missing bagel. The dismissive attitude and lack of customer service were disappointing. As a former New Yorker, I was equally disappointed with the bagels themselves. The restaurant promotes a New York-style bagel experience, but these bagels did not resemble the authentic New York bagels I grew up eating. They lacked the characteristic chew, texture, and flavor that make New York bagels famous. The bagels were also barely toasted. Rather than having a crisp exterior and warm center, they seemed only lightly warmed. A properly toasted bagel should have some crunch and color, and these simply did not. Mistakes happen in every restaurant, but how those mistakes are handled is what matters. My recommendation to future customers is to carefully inspect their order before leaving the counter. Unfortunately, based on this experience, both the customer service and product quality fell well below expectations.

The Big Easy put on a shrimp boil at Last Name and it was so good!!! Cajun shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn. I wish they did this more often, I would come every time! Unfortunately, instead of serving fresh tortillas, they opened the container holding older tortillas and plated those for us. We ordered three different meats, but when our food arrived, every single item was cold. The tortillas were so cold they had become hard and stiff instead of soft and fresh. When we mentioned it to the staff, we were told the food gets cold because they have a fan blowing directly toward it. That's not really an acceptable explanation Between the inconsistent seating, poor customer service, and cold, flavorless food, the experience was extremely disappointing. We left feeling unwelcome, and the food itself was far from the authentic Mexican cuisine we were hoping for. Sadly, we won't be returning.
