Yikes! This place needs help. Placed a pickup order on a weekday which said 12 minutes. We got there about 20 minutes later. The girl behind the counter was trying to console her sister who had come to visit. She was totally distracted. She gave us the 2 eegees, but not our sandwiches or fries. After waiting 10-15 minutes we asked if it was ready. The sandwiches were, but no fries. I'm the meantime, the manager came up to pull drawers, never said a word even though we had been standing there at least 30+ minutes. Someone finally came and asked what we were waiting for and we said fries, they walked to the back and got our fries. We waited 45 minutes!!! There were only 4 people in the restaurant and a few random drive thru orders, so they weren't busy. We loved eegees in Tucson, but they are losing their quality control quickly here in Phoenix. Hopefully they can stop it before it tanks. read more

Changing my review. We live an HOUR from this restaurant. We WERE very excited to have an Eegees in the valley (as opposed to just Tucson). But NOW I am livid! This is fast food, people, not rocket science. How difficult is it to double check the order list BEFORE handing it to the customer? I got home, an hour later only to find the extra house HOUSE dressing I ordered (and incidentally the ONLY thing that sets these sandwiches apart) was not in the bag, but RANCH WAS?!?! Why would I put ranch dressing on these sandwiches??? I may as well dunk it in mayonnaise and cover up all of the flavor entirely! It's not like I can run right back because of the distance. I'll check the bags myself from now on, but I shouldn't have to. And I will be waiting until I'm in Tucson because I won't be returning to this location, where apparently "mediocre " is good enough. read more

We ordered using the website around 8:45pm as their website stated they were open until 10pm. We got there by 9pm to pick up our order, to which after waiting in the drive through line for almost 45 minutes, we're told to pull up and regive the order as their system supposedly is not working. We showed them the order and they "found it". It was now over an hour since we put it in, so we're concerned it has just been sitting, but we were reassured it was just made. The fries were cold and soggy, definitely have just been sitting out. My sandwich was incorrect on white bread and not toasted with some of the toppings left off that I requested. I was at the opening today. Waited 3 hours in the drive thru which is expected on opening day. I suggest going inside. The wait seems a lot less. Drive thru had 2 HUGE lines, and went pretty slow. However for me it was well worth the wait! read more

I do not understand the hype and huge lines... We went and tried the sandwiches, fries, and frozen things. The sandwiches were by far the worst - dry, terrible bread, nothing going on there. I've been to this place a few times within the past couple of months and the service is always a gamble. Last night I ordered a lemon eegee. After waiting 30+ minutes I received a mix of lemon and what seemed to be the piña colada. On top of it being not what I ordered half of it was filled with lemon peels. Been waiting for the line to die down a bit and finally went tonight. Unfortunately very unorganized drive thru line. Multiple people had the line going through the gas station which caused multiple vehicles to try to cut in front of others. I still waited in the line because I love their food but it's definitely not as fast as some have said it is. I will be waiting until the cluster calms down. Where do I start?? This is the second time we ordered from Eegees. The first time we ordered they forgot a sandwich and my husband drove back to get it but you were new to this area so we figured things would get better. We live 20-30min away by the way. This time what a mess!! First: We ordered on-line and were told it would be ready in about 30min. Cool. Got there later than 30min and it hadn't been started. A long line of people who ordered on-line were waiting because nobody's order had been started. We had to wait individually as if we were walk up orders. Finally one of the managers went to make my order. By now I've been there about 30min. When he finally came back with the order he looked at the next person in line and stated "if you're here for an online order you'll have to wait awhile because it took me forever to do this one". Well I'm sorry you had to prepare our order! Shocking but when we got home we were missing the veggie grinder for a 9-month pregnant daughter on her birthday. So she had no meal. We were all too tired to drive back. Moral of the story... we will not be back ever. Suggestion... have a manager from Tucson come train you people. They know how to run a business. read more

I have been 3 times and each time I'm disappointed. I am from Tucson and ate Eegees all my life. I'd honestly rather drive down to Tucson than visit the Gilbert Eegees. By this time, they should know what they are doing and they do not. I hadn't gotten a chance to get cherry cider yet, so I sent my husband to get a large one; since it's the last day of the month. He came home with a bright red Eegee and I immediately knew something was wrong. I think they gave me the December flavor of the month. It tastes like holly berry, not regular strawberry. The eegee is definitely worth going in, however the wait times are incredibly long, like 45 minutes in the drive through and a hour inside because it's always packed. The sandwich's are pretty small, tough bread and overall underwhelming but again, the eegee is incredibly delicious. *warning* the brain freeze from these is intense and way stronger than any other brain freeze I have ever had before and everyone else that has had one says the same thing. Arrived here without a single customer in the lobby. The guy upfront was new and didn't know how to use the computer. 5 employees are in the back messing around and rather than helping him, they are fixing one meal for an employee. I told this guy no less than 5 times which toppings to exclude. I finally get my order placed after about 3-4 minutes. I sit for another few minutes and nothing is happening. I look around the corner and all 6 employees are standing around talking and on their phones. I ask where my order is at and they say the fries are still cooking. But at that point I've been in the lobby for almost 10 minutes. Mind you, I am still the only customer that has entered that lobby in that time!! I didn't have time to wait and asked to just have my sandwich. So, I ordered a meal and had to leave without part of it. I get in my car to find out that my order is wrong. The items that I asked to be excluded were left on the sandwich. Not one employee listened because they were too busy talking and being on their phones! I had to take my sandwich back in the restaurant and don't even have enough time at this point to wait for a refund! So, I called another store the next day because none of their phones are working! I was told that a manager would call me. It has now been a week and I have to call them back because they are too lazy to actually take care of issues that they have going on. I am calling corporate tomorrow and if I don't have my refund immediately, I'm going to file a charge back. Which, I will happily do because it's going to cost your company up to $100. Is an $8 order worth losing even more money for. Clearly it is worth a bad review since your management has so much on their plate with their employees standing around that they don't have time to return calls!
