They were the cheapest, flimsiest, non helium balloons you had to put sticks on to have a "bouquet". My aunt and my cousin on the East Coast we're looking up a place that would deliver flowers and some other treats for my big birthday. Late on a Saturday, they placed the order with this store (after calling numerous other locationsnot getting any return calls). My cousin said the customer service was great at this particular store. The agreed to deliver flowers, balloons, and birthday cake on a legal holiday Monday, which my birthday fell on. The owner himself made the delivery. That day, when he realized that the address my family had given him was my Postal Service and not my home address, he called me up, let me know he had a delivery (did not spoil the surprise by telling me what all the treats were), drove to my apartment and made the delivery. He went above & beyond. At the time I had no idea that he was the owner of the store. I called the store to thank them & let them know "their driver" had gone above & beyond the call of duty, & also thank them for delivering on a holiday. The person who answered the phone let me know that the driver that day, was the owner! The fruit skewered by plastic spears were placed in the basket in the shape and form of flowers, they were really nice looking. The fruit included watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew and pineapple. We picked it up at 4:00pm and finally got around to eating it about 9:00pm and it was still fresh and tasty. The spear of fruit was a bit difficult to pull out of the arrangement if you wanted the whole thing, cause come on who doesn't want to eat fruit off of a plastic spear, but if you aren't a guy and don't care about spears they came off OK if you grabbed the fruit and pulled.
