As soon as I walked in I was warmly welcomed and asked if I could be helped. I told the person what I was looking for and she took me to the card section of the store. Once in that section, I had TWO other employees help me look for a specific type of card that I needed. I couldn't find the type of card I was looking for and one of the employees went to another part of the store to continue to look for the special type of card for which I was looking. I was blown away by how much the employees cared that I found exactly what I was looking for! (I was very satisfied with my purchase.) This place also sold beautiful flower arrangements. My aunt highly recommended this place to me because she knows the owner quite well. Kim is such a doll, you can't help but love her right away. The place can get busy, but that doesn't stop her from making sure everyone is that needs help, gets help. Upon my arrival, Kim had some invitations stashed behind her counter of what my aunt and her thought I would like. They couldn't have been more right. She showed me what they had chosen and then showed me around and showed me what invitations were popular with the younger crowd, which ones were more formal, etc. I had decided to go with one of the packages that my aunt had chosen because I felt it really captured who I was and what my wedding was representing. They make beautiful invitations. Kim also goes over the correct wording, font and font size of what you want. Final product doesn't take long at all either. Just a few mistakes though, but Kim was very happy to make a new set at no cost, totally top notch on her part! My guests raved about how much they loved our invitations and RSVP cards. Lots of cute things here! Would have loved to give a five star review, but no one was working in the store. We called for assistance but no one answered. 5 of us and a baby, walking through the shop, talking, there is no way they didn't hear us. There were 5 employees chatting in the attached flower shop that didn't even look up when I asked if I could pay for my item at their cash register. Kim and Jess are the best! I came in to work on some invitations and Kim talked me off the vellum ledge. Ended up picking out a great textured paper. Then, when I needed help printing on them and cutting everything out, they graciously opened up their office for me to print and cut to my heart's content. I brought them lunch to say thank you...but it wasn't enough. If you want to do business with someone who truly cares about the quality of the final product, and not just their bottom line, these people are the best in town. The flower shop next door is owned by Kim as well...looks great! I'll be there this valentines day and for my other flower needs as well. My Fiance and I cannot say how awesome our Wedding Day Invitation order experience was. I struggle with partial color blindness and this hinders my ability to make sound decisions when it comes to design and patterns. Thankfully Jess came to the rescue and helped me while we waited for my Fiance to arrive and out her input. I was able to pick the design and some coloring and all 3 of us collaborated on the final design. I found this store randomly one day when driving in Burbank with my fiance. When you walk inside it is super cute and they have tons of invitation options. I ordered my engagement party invitations from them and could not have been happier. I picked a design by Anna Griffin and the lovely ladies at the store took care of the printing and assembly (there was a butterfly accent on the invite). They emailed me a proof once I gave them the details for the party. Then a few days later I had all the invites in a beautiful box ready to go. Everyone thought they were so nice. I went to An Open Invitation after reading their Yelp reviews and I'm so happy I did... absolutely gorgeous invitations completed in 24 hours. From the moment i walked in Robin was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Brooke is a genius in the layout design and printing and Kim is a wording guru! My invitations were a bit unconventional in that i also needed 2 separate inserts for additional hotel and cruise accommodations for my guests and these women made it happen! The attention to detail is exemplary and even the final presentation of my completed invitations in a beautifully wrapped box with tissue paper and ribbons was exquisite. She took the time to show me many different options and was very patient. Once we decided to order, Susan was extremely helpful and very knowledgable. AWESOME!!!! Is all I can say. My hubby and I just decided to take a look inside. We were on a tight time-frame to find something simple, classy, and NOT baby-ish for our co-ed baby celebration brunch in 3 and-a-half weeks. Not only did we find a great selection of Crane products (which I love), we found the perfect card, and they had the inventory to support our 40-card needs. AND... They do printing on-site!! Brooke was super helpful, very attentive, totally non-pushy and offered some great ideas for the wordage & design, which we used. To top it all off, right before Labor Day weekend, Brooke got our 40 beautiful cards printed, ready to go, in LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!!!!! They had 6 other orders to print, plus a wedding that weekend, and managed to take us from 'no idea what we want' to completely finished, with a GORGEOUS result, and ready for pick-up 24 hrs later. Ahead of schedule!!!' Brooke is fabulous... I sent her an email with corrections to the text at 9:45 pm, and the cards were DONE, looked perfect and she responded to my email to tell me everything was ready by 10:30 the next morning!!!!
