I have heard about this quaint, cozy, little shop named Tansy. To be honest with you all, I didn't really know what was it that I was looking for? I just wanted to stop by earlier today to check out this place/nursery. It was so clean, tranquil and peaceful. When I walked in, I have noticed enormous selection of plants, artwork, toys for kids, artificial butterflies, and cute sentiments, momentous, little touches here and there. I looked around and didn't really see anything that I needed, but liked everything that was in this store. 2 employees wanted to know what was I looking for? I told them the minute something grabs my eye and attention I will let them know. They have a small shop that you can purchase coffee, snacks and other knick knacks. Overall, it was a nice experience to check out this lovely, beautiful place called Tansy. Employees were very nice, sweet and helpful. Since I didn't buy anything on this visit, I will definitely be back another time. Everything had it's own mark/pricing.. depending what you were in for. Plenty of parking spaces..

Stopped in here on a rainy day since we were in the area and this store is absolutely beautiful. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the lovely staff. We looked around for a bit as they have an array of different knick knacks and plant needs . They also have an outdoor coffee bar but it was closed due to the rain. Overall a beautiful and welcoming place.

The environment is absolutely intoxicating with all of the creativity. A must visit! This is a gem of a spot in Burbank! Whether you want a coffee escape with the their coffee cart, shopping for yourself or a friend, or want to make something beautiful at one of their workshops... this is one of my All time favorite places to be!

There is one word I would use to describe Tansy...enchanting. It's like walking into a fairytale or the welcoming home of a well traveled friend. Honestly, I didn't want to leave. I wanted to live there. Just parking at one of the residential streets I was greeted by beautiful floral murals on the wall. When I walked into the outdoor patio, there were plants everywhere, seating, and a little coffee and pastry truck. When I walked into the store, it was like a continuation of the outside with flowers and lights hanging from the ceiling. Meanwhile, the merchandise itself is noticeably hand selected for its beauty and/or cuteness. The prices are reasonable. For the most part each item I personally looked at was around $20. I even took a reusable shopping bag with me just in case, but since my apartment is small and anything I bring into it needs to be utilitarian, as much as I wanted to come home with something, I didn't actually buy anything. Like there was this coconut bowl that had a lovely floral lacquered painting in the interior. It was the first thing I picked up and I even went back to it a second time before I was about to leave. It was only around $17, but I couldn't bring myself to actually buy it because where would I put it? What would I use it for? I can't put cereal in it because it would ruin the painting. I can't throw keys into it because, again, it would ruin the painting. I would have it simply to have it and look at it. Which is a proper summary of this store: If you're looking for cute, affordable tchotchkes to fill your home with and you have the room, this place is for you. If you're good with keeping plants alive and you have the space for them, this place is for you. Otherwise, if you're like me, the best you can do is enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of this place and admire all the lovely things within it.

Coming here is an experience. This place has a very warm, eccentric, and energizing vibe that is hard to match. It felt like a shop that belonged to fairy. This is a breath of fresh air for people trying to escape the HOA minimalism aesthetic. I loved the variety of products. I think this would be a great shop for someone looking for a stand out birthday gift or personal home decor. There are trinkets, seeds, planters, lamps, cat towers, and more. I also feel like all these items are reasonably priced. I'm not sure if there's just one staff member here but she managed the shop extremely well and was able to help anyone that had a question in a really kind and patient way. Also they have a a cute coffee shop stand outside.

Tried to buy these light fixtures but they weren't for sale. The pillows are though!

This is the cutest store! I love how the gifts are whimsical, colorful, unique and most are handcrafted! The vibe is great here and there's a little coffee cart and outdoor spot to just hang out and have private events. We spent a good amount of time chatting with the gentleman who cares for the nursery, which has so many pretty plants and wonderful items to care for the plants. We didn't get to try the coffee only because we came here right after brunch and already maxed out our daily caffeine limit, but I definitely will be back to enjoy the coffee and hang out!

Chia pudding bowl! So beautiful and delicious!

This is one of my favorite places! I live in Santa Cruz and plan a whole day in Oakland every once in a while just to come here! Their strawberry matcha is the best I ever had! The ube latte as well! We always feel so welcomed! The space is beautiful, I am always envious of their green thumb, the plants are amazing! The lace eggs with the lemongrass sauce are so good! And we love the chia pudding bowl! Oh! And the warm soy milk drink!! So good!!

Was on location for Yelp event so I wandered in and already my stress level decreased. I attribute it to all the beautiful plants and the oxygen they were pumping out. The staff was friendly and greeting Yelp visitors as they entered. My green thumb friends would be in heaven in a place like Tansy. This store is also a unique gift shop so I have to return and wander more. I have a place to go to now to find some special for my gardening and community garden friends. First impression: unique store and good vibes all around.

Cute one stop shop for all your gifting needs and for the plant parents out there. They hosted the Yelpies elite event this year which was a fun night out. If you're looking for cute gifts and decors for the house, this place is it. Tons of cute decorative pillows, trinkets, jewelry and so on. The store if full Of colors and just makes you smile when you walk in. Each little section/room offers so many different unique gifts from all over the place. The plant selection is pretty impressive as well. Loads to choose from for all the plant lovers. You'll find whatever your looking for and something that you wasn't planning on. The selection is amazing. Staff were excellent and friendly. Will definitely be back for gifts whenever I'm in the area again. Even just to a little stroll to see what's new.

Great store filled with many gift ideas, decorating inspirations and much more. I ended up buying a lovely wind chime. Across the way is a cute little coffee stand. Located in a great neighborhood, stop in and get inspired to add something special to your home.

    Lovely decor welcoming you in

Tansy is the local neighborhood shop of your dreams! It is every bit as magical as you imagine it to be. My favorite part is how well cared for the plants are. Every single plant I saw had polished leaves, was hydrated, and under good growing conditions. It's clear that the team loves these plants well until they go to their next home. The collection of gifts is impeccable! It looks like there is so much thought and care placed in selecting items. There's stuff from local artists and lots of unique things. The coffee shop on site is also incredibly delicious. And the team is so generous and friendly! Kind people, great plants, sweet vibes. Basically, I want to just come and hang out here all day!

Went shopping, so much to purchase from.

On the 16th of this month, after I had Taco Bell, I have noticed this quaint, lovely, somewhat gothic, clean place and wanted to go in and see if they could be some sort of help to me. I have been feeling uncomfortable for the past year and a half. Wanted to know if someone has done a spell on me or not; and if they could remove the spell? Sure enough when it was my turn to sit on that chair, the young lady, (can't remember her name), said yes, 2 of your family members has done a spell on you, but was not able to tell me who they were. Not even their gender. I was shocked and got choked up. She relaxed me by giving me cup of water. This is a very unique store/shop with a lot of things to offer: jewelry, Tarot cards, scented and non scented candles, herbs of different kinds, incense blends, charm begs, essential oils, different colors, sizes and types of beautiful crystal rocks/balls. I was blown away by the selection of all of their items. Everything had it's own valuable price and looked clean, nice and new. They have street parking, woman owned, and didn't see a bathroom. I was also told that I should come at least 3 to 5 more times so they can work on me. I will definitely take action and go back. They accept most credit cards and cash. Every other spiritual and witchy place in the area I'm always helped out. I ended up getting a couple crystals. I wanted to get more by the vibe just wasn't it. We were welcomed by the charming owners who were buzzing about trying to care for customers and make bread. A sweet lady asked if it was our first time and proceeded to give us a full blown tour. We spent a good 15 or 20 minutes chatting with her and learning about how bread is made, talking about her life and how she and her husband wound up opening the store. We concluded with taste tests of different products they offer. It was not at all what we expected, and kind of felt like an entire afternoon event rather than just popping into a bakery. By their own admission the bread is expensive, $20 for the standard sourdough loaf - but it is all organic, lovingly crafted and carefully selected to have a process and ingredients that avoid chemicals or preservatives. The bread (and other stuff we bought too) was delicious and it was a very cool place to visit for sure!

Wow! What a pleasant experience…read more I walked into the most welcoming shop. Greeted by Chef Randall, he was very sweet and excited to have me try their sourdough and explained what made their bread so special. Talk about clean ingredients! I tried the country sourdough and the cinnamon maple pecan sourdough with some raw butter. mmm mm. I went with the country sourdough loaf for $20 and was asked if I would like it sliced. I asked for thin sliced and sure enough he brought it over to his bread slicer machine (all the way from Belgium) and encouraged me even take a video of the process. It cut it super quick! He also brought out a sample of a special "no sugar bread pudding muffin" not yet on the menu. YUM! As he was packing up my purchase, he threw in a card on how to properly store the sourdough and tips on how to eat it. It was very informative. Especially if you don't know anything about bread aka ME. He also added a local magazine which features some recipes, news about the town, and farmers market details. I was also encourage to sign up for their e-newsletter. I expect many puns coming my way. Chef Randall is the epitome of kindness. Loves the work he does, is community oriented, and makes some good bread!
