Stumble upon this store and its name wasn't even obvious. It looks like a treasure hunt, so to kill time, we went in. What luck we got! When we entered the main room, Mr Tiger greeted us. He said he's descended from Spanish and Italian, so his last name is Tigere, means Tiger. He's really friendly and chatty about the over 100 countries he's been to, the culture and the conversation spans to rocks of all forms including dinosaurs poops and crocodile teeth. It was very interesting and time flies talking to him. The rocks in the store prices 30,40,50+ bucks but there's no pressure from buying. The store covers old comics to rocks of all forms to small cultural artifacts of all kinds. It's worth spending time there but I felt like without Mr Tiger telling you the stories and explanations, it's a lot less interesting. He said he's there into the nights, so the ideal time to visit is probably late afternoon into the evening. read more

I felt like I just met the real life Indiana Jones. The owner Tiger is a real life archaeologist. The shop had an array of trinkets, gadgets, relics, treasures, etc from all over the world. An abosutely amazing find. The building has a few rooms, gatheting items of all sorts left behind. Each piece has a story that Tiger will surely tell. The hours are a little iffy. If he is open go inside. This is defiently one of my favorite new shops. read more

I was walking back to my car in a nearby parking structure when I noticed this adorable little shop and thought, "Ooo, how cute!" I checked the hours on the door and saw that on weekends they're "sometimes" open -- which I thought was hilarious -- so of course, I had to step inside. It's a small shop that somehow feels bigger on the inside, like a little labyrinth full of surprises. The owner, Tiger, greeted us right away and was such a delight -- super personable, funny, and full of fascinating stories. He's clearly been everywhere and knows so much about the things he sells. There's a bit of everything here, and you can tell it's all curated with care and experience. Such a cool hidden gem in Burbank that I can't believe I hadn't noticed until now. I didn't even buy anything from the store today, but I felt like I should write a positive review. The guy who runs the shop has a really awesome collection of old music, sports, movie, and other types of memorabilia. And even dinosaur fossils and different things he's collected from around the world. He only sells Blu-rays and DVDs that are factory sealed, it was definitely cool conversing with him, and I would definitely consider coming back and picking up some of the cool stuff I saw. read more

This place is like your eccentric uncle's attic after his freaky Will is read - - - you know the uncle - the one who traveled the world - did every drug - had affairs with African Princesses - and had so many wild careers from archaeologist to journalist to fireman to rock star that it seems like fiction. Then he dies... ... and leaves all of this stuff to you. It's ALL great -- but what do you do with it? I guess this is for someone's home museum. Maybe its to improve some common pickup lines like "do you want to come over and see my stamp collection". Kinda lame. With this stuff in your life you can say better things, like: "Wanna come over and check out some petrified dinosaur poop." or "I'll bet you cant guess how many millions of years that tooth is". I have a fond memory from my childhood of a very large flea market I would frequent on Saturdays that sold the weirdest oddities under one roof: from rocks/fossils to clothing to old tin lunch boxes... it had it all. I was fascinated by this place. Lo and behold, I've found a spot nearly 30 years later which reminds me of that special flea market: Odz & Enz. What is Odz & Enz aside from a grammatical annoyance (spell check really doesn't like this place!)? Let's find out... Located on Orange Grove off the main downtown Burbank strip on San Fernando; Odz & Enz is a small retail establishment that feels like you are stepping into a closet or attic of the most eccentric person you've ever met. If you have issues with claustrophobia; then Odz & Enz isn't for you. Featuring three rooms, Odz & Enz is an almost-indescribable mixture of a flea market, antique shop, toy store, rummage sale, and collectible shop. One can find trinkets, jewelry, books, rocks/fossils, prank/joke kits, magic sets, keychains, Dvds, collectibles, supposed dinosaur bones, EVERYTHING! One thing is for sure: you WILL enjoy browsing the shop, looking at all of the weirdness, and will definitely find a unique gift for someone into this sort of thing. If you are into oddities/collectibles or searching for something you perhaps can't find on Ebay; then you will love this spot. It's also a great place for kids as I came here with a 10 year old boy I was nannying and he was blown away and giddy for hours. Otherwise, you may be a bit weirded out if this isn't your cup of tea. The main qualms about Odz and Enz? First of all, everything in the shop should be taken with a great a salt. I don't believe for a second that all of the products are authentic (actual dinosaur bones and fossilized poop? Yeah right). Plus, many of the items are dusty and cheap looking like they were purchased off a TV infomercial in the 90s. Basically everything should be taken with a grain of salt. Prices are very up-and-down. Some things are priced great for what they are and are a bargain for sure while others are a complete rip off so the pricing scale is not consistent at all. I'm unsure if you can barter with the store owner as I did not purchase anything this time around. The main discomfort was the customer service of the store owner. He is very aggressive in terms of being in-your-face and wanting to talk about every item you look at or pick up. He supposedly has a long-winded story about EVERYTHING and has connections to every celebrity, princess, tribal leader in some third world country, etc. This could be interesting but I wasn't fooled and he is much too attached to your hip and doesn't leave your side. Customers simply aren't left in any peace to shop. There is the extreme of no customer service at all but this is the other end of wayyyyy too much. Especially when he comes off as a know-it-all and cocky. Not necessarily the best experience in those terms. Overall, Odz & Enz is a quirky treasure chest of goodies and is a fun place to let your inner-child or collectible-loving self roam free. Just be aware that the shop is very small (so don't bring your entire posse!) and that the store owner can make you feel accosted at times. Other than that, Odz & Enz is recommended as a brick-and-mortar version of Ebay. Not a bad spot! read more

It's easy to become friends with Tiger, the owner, who's a working doctor, archaeologist, antique locksmith, paleontologist, anthropologist, newspaper editor, and pop culture aficionado. If you don't find something that inspires you, that takes you out of the bubble of routine, that makes you a more interesting person for having discovered it, you're not looking hard enough. Give yourself some time to really look through this store, listen to Tiger's stories, and TOUCH anything you'd like. (They encourage a tactile experience!) Hours are a bit unpredictable, but it's a small price to pay for such an amazing place. It definitely helps to call ahead. I come here mostly for my gem stones and I like things that are different; he definitely has variety and good selection of products that are catchy to the eye. Wl today certainly turned out a good find. I stumbled across Odz $ Enz when walking the great streets of Burbank. Originally I was looking for a chess set but forgot about it a few steps in. This place has all the cool stuff without the price gouging. They had an original 3D picture of the Yellow Submarine, a hair from the King, Elvis Presley, real fossils of all types, and other cool vintage stuff. All the cultural stuff came from the actual country and not made in China (unless it's a Chinese artifact). I want to start collecting the fossils with my kids. You have to make several trips to truly appreciate everything in there. I mean, who sells a real wolf's tooth in Burbank? On top of all the cool stuff, they even sell ice cream and soda and, they are gonna start up art classes soon! read more

Not only do you get to leave this place with some amazing items but you also get to hear the story behind a lot of the things in the shop. Where the items come from, the history behind the art pieces, a little knowledge on who made the items, and the sense that you just made a new friend (the owner)! Stumbled upon this place looking for trains for a friend overseas as a gift. Turns out, he has a lot of cool antiques to offer from Dino poop to vintage comics. If you have time to listen what he has to say about his collection, it will be fun. He seems to be a decorated individual with his achievements and you can either take it with a grain of salt and assume what he says is bs or be in awe and appreciate what he has to say and accomplished. read more

I went around 9:45PM, 15 minutes before closing, and Tiger was there to greet me, my sister, and my cousin. I have to tell you, it had A+ atmosphere right from the get go. It wasn't a gift shop, it was a hands on museum! Everything was collected by Tiger, himself, and he had vast knowledge on almost everything there! Was never a dull moment, and he isn't trying to sell you anything but he genuinely wants to spread the knowledge and history of each artifact. Ole boy has been around the world two times and back. He used to be a heart surgeon and then joined a motorcycle gang before settling on being an archeologist and part time chemist. Everything you see here is from some rare region of some country you'll never travel too hence you'll never see anything like it unless you have a phone w/ internet in which case you'll find everything online at a lower price. Honestly can't knock dude because he's very enthusiastic and passionate and entering the store and talking to the man is an experience in of itself. You decide if it's worth it but if you enjoy his back story and respect the hustle its only right to support a local brick and mortar business. read more

Bought a necklace with what was described as a "White Wolf Tooth" on it from Nepal. Apparently the guy gets stuff from his travels all over the world. Paid $25 for the necklace. Researched online and found they were selling them on Ebay for $1 from China. The guy is a rip-off merchant who lies about his 'travels' just to get you in. read more
