It's not peak season so we always got seats at the bar or the nice lounge area as well. $1 oysters were delicious and well presented! Caesar salad is deconstructed and crunchy/cold which I prefer. The music was largely generic thumping & too loud. One of our two appetizers didn't come out; it arrived well after the first and only after a reminder. Our main courses were extremely delayed. I understand it was a Saturday night on Labor Day weekend -- it was busy -- but this isn't their first rodeo. The worst part was the gnocchi: tough, chewy & apparently overcooked...or perhaps a victim of sitting too long under warming lights. All was not lost, despite the problems. The wedge salad was very good, as was the burger. We've thought of Cowfish as a solid go-to in Hampton Bays. We hope this evening was just an aberration.

I expect better and high quality for a restaurant in this area of West Hampton especially for Italian food. I had the penne alla vodka and I thought that it was decent but the flavoring was a little weak for vodka sauce and bland I felt. I got bored of eating my meal about half way through. My friend Jack said nothing stood out to him, he also got the vodka pasta. My friend Josh got the Cesar salad with grilled chicken. He thought it was a very tasty salad, good salad dressing and portions, but the croutons were a little burnt, he said. My friend Thomas got the chicken parm for dinner, he said the cheese was very fresh as well as the sauce but the chicken was a little tough. My friend James got the veal Parmesan, he thought it was really good. My friend got the veal piccata he said it was great. My friend Curbs consumed his veal piccata really fast because of how delicious it was to him. My friend Alex got the chicken francese but it took him a while to get it, it was mid for the price but it was good. Overall almost everyone thought the food was decently good. Service: The service was decently fast for everyone except for my food which was a little slower than the rest which was the penne alla vodka and also my friend Alex's food which was the chicken francese. Ambience: quiet warm ambience outside with heaters on a nice windy noon. Nice chill location near a decently busy road.

The pizza is good, but not good enough to stand out in a very competitive market. Bloody Mary was yummy, my friend's cucumber tequila drink was delicious and we ordered a few things to split. Loved the burger, big enough to split! Our server suggested the Flower Pot for dessert even though we were full and I'm so glad we got it. How cute and what a fun spin on the dirt dessert we all got as kids. No gummy worms on this but awesome choice, adorable presentation and the vanilla ice cream at the bottom was ideal for such a hot day.

The staff is friendly and the bar was very well attended to, judging from the crowd around it. The menu has a nice selection of items, and we focused on some sandwiches, a salad, and an appetizer. I have to say, the marinated brisket burger was better than I expected. Nicely fatty and very flavorful. I ordered it with bacon, just because. My better half ordered the French dip, and she tried to finish it, but couldn't. Half was packed to go. All in all, it was a great dining experience and we'll make it a point to be back for sure.
