I was strolling main street and figured I would stop in before dinner at Livs. My spontaneous decision paid off! The interior is sleek with dark wood leather seating and banquettes and modern warm globe lighting. The selection is large with flights wine cocktails and several sparkling by the glass, I sparkling offeres like this often. I selected a melon Muscadet five ounce. The server informed me Fridays a 5 ounce pour is double portion for the same price. No complaints here. The charcuterie selection looked delicious as I observed other bar guests build perfect bites. This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I stopped for wine and apps for our anniversary. We chatted with the owner Derrik, and our server, Steve. They were very friendly and helpful. We told Steve which types of wines we like, and he put together flights for us, which were perfect. The cheeses there was amazing as well. I stopped in here with a group of friends on a Friday afternoon to try out some new wines. We got there shortly after they opened and were able to get a table pretty easily. The wine options are great and it's nice that you can get a glass or a flight of options. Our waiter was also really helpful and able to describe the ones with a lot of information. The owners know so much about the wines & recommend amazing pairings. I enjoy getting a flight of 3 to try dinners wines. I've always done a cheeseboard -- and current love the 3 Year Aged-Cheddar, Cashel Blue, and Midnight Moon. Highly recommend the fig jam if you have to choose one side! This is our second time there, and it is our last. We sat at the bar so the people working couldn't have missed us coming in. That being said, the service was terrible. When we got there, two people were sitting at the bar, three tables were used and two of them already had their wine and food. Took 15 minutes for us to get the bartender to take our order. Got our wine flights 10-15 minutes later. (They scribbled our wine choices for my wife on a torn napkin. Me, not so lucky. I had to guess.) We also ordered the charcutier board to pair with the wines. That can almost a half hour after we got our wine! So much for the pairing. The people sitting at one of the tables also came up to the bar and asked about getting the food they had alread ordered. Doubt we will ever go back. Nice concept. Bad execution. read more

We came in when the bar was at full capacity, and they told us to either hang around or call in 20 minutes to see if anything opened up. They didn't take our name or phone number down. So we waited in the parking lot, called back in 20 minutes, and they told us someone came right after us and they sat them before us.
