    Chicken Milanese

Great food and good service. Now that the usual staff has been split between their NYC and Southampton location, I am happy to report that the quality of food and service has not diminished. The espresso martini is very good. The Chicken Milanese dish is fabulous. The ambiance both inside and outside is very nice. The new music vibe is a nice touch. They added couches and a lounge space to the outside and added an additional row of tables outside. Overall rating A+ Service A+ Food A Atmosphere A+

Came here last Saturday with a party of about 10 for a friend's birthday. Sat outside in the patio area which was really nice and a pretty big space. I know we got a few appetizers but I honestly can't remember what they were and it was only a few a days ago. I recall they were fine, but clearly not memorable enough! For the main courses, a few around the table got the filet, some got fish. I split the porterhouse with the bday girl which is ~40 oz and I'm so glad I did! It was seriously delicious, both sides of the steak were super tasty with a nice char on the outside and well seasoned. My only gripe with the steak was that I asked if I should order medium rare which is typical and what steak places usually recommend, but our server suggested we go one up to medium because of the way they cook it? I don't know if this was miscommunication, but it was served in a skillet that was still hot, so I think that was the exact wrong recommendation! I definitely wish I ordered medium rare instead of medium, but even though it was more well done than I would've liked, it was still delicious so for me a sign of a good steak. For sides we got corn, spinach, and mashed potatoes. Corn was good, others standard. For dessert we ordered 3 for the bday girl, but they brought out an extra! Plus a gluten free one for someone at our table! Desserts were great. Bananas foster and strawberry shortcake were awesome. We also had tons of wine, but I wish the server came back to refill waters more because I was dying of thirst the whole night. Overall good experience, great steak.

Needed somewhere to eat after going for a drink and an appetizer at Southampton Social Club. We weren't so came here and had a great time. It is clean and modern with a nice outdoor seating with heat lamps. The inside was also nice with proper social distancing in play! For dinner I had the prime rib burger which did not come with any cheese which surprised me. It was a straightforward burger with lettuce, tomato, and pickle. The beef was cooked medium just like I asked. It was good. The fries were ridiculously good. They were thin with a perfect amount of salt and fried to a great crisp. My wife ordered the matzah ball soup which was also pretty good. This whole experience was much better than down the street at southampton social club. It is a chic modern place too with reasonable prices. The location is off the beaten path in Southampton next to the train station. If you don't have gps it is hard to find but once you do you will be happy that you did.

Anyone who knows the Upper East Side dining scene knows neighborhood gem T-Bar steak and lounge run by Tony Fortuna and Chef Ben Zwickler. After running for a brief stint Savannah's at the same location in Southampton, Tony and the team are back with T-Bar Southampton. The menu is similar to that of the UES - which is no bad thing as consistency is the watchword here and service is very focused. In short, a great experience to be repeated.

To quote my husband "coming to Tbar without ordering dessert from Chef Payard is like going to a Ferrari dealership and not driving a car."

The vibe was incredible just as I had pictured it in my mind. We were greeted very warmly the moment we walked in. The menu was extensive so it was hard to choose between the entrees as everything looked so delicious. I decided on the 75 Main Chopped Salad. My husband chose the Main Prime Burger with fries & my daughter chose the Fusolini Alla Vodka Telefono. Each of us were completely intoxicated with every bite!! 10/10 all the way around!!!! We were hoping to see a celebrity or two dining alongside us (as this is one of the restaurants known for that) but no luck there. Nevertheless, it was an amazing lunch we will always remember enjoying together. If you get a chance to dine here I highly recommend it! Booking a reservation will make it it seamless. The hostesses even complimented me on my outfit as we were leaving & that made me feel fantastic!! I saw many people dressed casual, but we chose to dress up in case we ended up dining beside others who were the same. Parking was very convenient with two hour limits. We hope to come back again someday as there are so many wonderful places to shop & dine in this area alone. One could easily spend a long weekend here.

The restaurant is huge and always busy. They have two levels, and while I prefer sitting upstairs, both spaces are great. This time, I tried their New England Clam Chowder for the first time, and it was phenomenal. There wasn't a grain of sand to be found, and it was absolutely loaded with meaty, perfectly cooked, tender clams. The flavor was unforgettable. It managed to be creamy without feeling heavy. You know when a chowder leaves a thick coating of cream in your mouth that lingers long after each bite? This wasn't like that at all, and it was perfect. I also enjoyed the Caesar salad. I've seen it presented this way before, and while it does put a little more work on the diner, it's really not a big deal to use a fork and knife. The lettuce was crisp and cold, the dressing tasted homemade, and the crouton crumble was a game changer. I decided to add the seared blackened scallops, and they were cooked perfectly. The upcharge was a little more than I would have liked for the amount, but it was worth it. After all, who doesn't love a scallop straight from Montauk? That scallop traveled less to get to my plate than I did to get to Hampton Bays. The drinks were festive, the wine was cold, and the atmosphere was lively. It's the perfect place to bring friends and family and have a great time.

Oops lol It was a quiet Friday evening and Plaza Café is conveniently located near my friend's house there in South Hampton. Being off season, there has been very little traffic and people on the streets. There were only 3 other parties in the restaurant when we walked in. This place is cute, private, has great good food, and service. Their menu is very small, but I was still having trouble deciding what I wanted to eat for dinner. Finally decided on the Tile fish....Yeah I know, I was like. Was told that they're like human beings because they eat just about anything in the sea. No idea if that's true or not, but I'll take it. The dish was light and full of flavor. Tried some of my friend's Salmon/Udon dish and I actually think his was the better choice. The salmon went very well with the udon. Noodles were kind of firm and juices full of flavor. Plenty of parking in their private lot. Looks like they may share it with businesses/hotel in the area. I'd eat here again. The décor and feel was okay, nothing amazing or memorable.

I loved the boom shrimp the most, then the hot honey, and then the filet taco the least, but all of these were so delicious I loved it! The boom shrimp is a delicious trip into the savory tastes of shrimp and the sea. I loved the addition of tomatoes, fresh lettuce, and avocados, drizzled in ranch. The filet taco is a great feast of filet steak and crispy crunchy onions. Lastly the hot honey chicken was great with purple lettuce, corn, pickles, and more fresh delicious veggies. I loved all the tacos so much and if I come back to the area I'd definitely come back, a must go to! Service/ambiance: First off the waiters came to us quickly with a nice refreshing water pitcher with lemons. It was a nice day out but not too hot, inside was nice and cool with the ac but not too cold, a nice balance. Not too loud of a place but nice and chill with a light speaker with music playing in the background. This in my opinion is a huge upgrade to the last location in Northport, this is much bigger and it looks cleaner. Something that stood out to me was that there was no men's sign on the bathroom, but there was on the ladies. I don't know if they're discriminated or something, but that was something, but besides that the bathrooms were very squeaky clean.

The dinner venue was playing awesome pop music (albeit a bit too loudly) and there was an Instagramable patio near the eating tables so we were surprised to find out the after dinner club was in a separate dinky pub a 2 minute drive away. The venue offered shuttles to the "club", but not back, so we opted to drive. We finished dinner and arrived to a DEAD club at 10pm. Few people had arrived, and the music selection was much worse. The crowd didn't pick up until 11:30pm, and the music barely improved by then. I spent most of the time people watching instead of dancing. We received little more than a brief apology and were left to make the best of a situation that shouldn't have happened in the first place. As local residents, we were especially disappointed. We try to support local businesses and chose Southampton Publick House for a gathering with friends and family. We got a huge order-- three piece of fried chicken with wing, thigh and drumstick, as well as the chicken sandwich and fries, mac and cheese side, and an order of hot wings, with an apple pie for dessert. Everything was brought out hot to the car, and they put it right into our trunk, so it was 100% pandemic proof. The fries are really delicious-- nice and thick cut, with good seasoning, the chicken sandwich is TERRIFIC-- nice soft roll, deliciously seasoned and fried chicken, the crisp and slightly sweet bread and butter pickles a perfect complement, and it's not so big that you feel like exploding after (but also-- makes you definitely not want to share!), and of course the chicken itself was nicely done. I was super surprised by how strangely good the wings were, too-- I always like wings, so I was ready to be happy, but these were like... exceptional, and surprisingly big-- really, really MEATY wings. Plus even the carrots and celery and blue cheese that came with were above normal levels of yummy. The only ding to our experience was the apple pie-- it was kind of goopy in an off putting way, like they used that slime from a can of "apple pie filling", so that was sad. But I still gave full stars because I was honestly enthralled by everything else, as was my fiance, so I'd just say maybe skip dessert and enjoy what you should be there for anyway-- the killer chicken.
