    Tuna Tartare

This place is great. It's been a staple for years. They recently started taking reservations due to Covid and it's a great time to secure a table. They have a prix fix 2 courses for $85. All of the food was delicious and staff were great. Get the burrata and tuna tartar to start. All of the entrees look good but damn the bouillabaisse it was so flavorful. Last but not least you can't beat the view. Thank you, David and staff.

A gem off the main drag in Sag Harbor. The menu includes 2 courses for $75 with tons of options. Our table ordered almost everything on the menu. The favorite were the lobster rigatoni, the pork chop, the bouillabaisse and the salmon tartare. The crispy portobello mushroom and mozzarella was also good but a bit too filling as an app so make sure to leave room for your main course. Amazing views and a friendly and accommodating staff. Make a reservation especially if you want to sit outside and catch the sunset.

Strip steak and sirloin burger. Generous portions and appetizing presentations, but absolutely flavorless

Location and service are far better than the food. We showed up 10min before opening and waited on a line that was growing pretty rapidly. They opened at 5:30 on-the-dot and we were seated immediately at a prime spot on the balcony overlooking the marina. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, EV E R Y T H I N G lacked flavor. Everything. Personally, if I have to think about adding salt or ketchup to a dish, it's extremely subpar. I think condiments can be great accompaniments to compliment a dish, but when I'm adding them in search of flavor, it's a problem. The complimentary ciabatta bread was soft, fresh and enjoyable. We ordered the mussels appetizer, in a white cream sauce with onion and tomato. The sauce was creamy but rather thin and watery with absolutely no flavor whatsoever, we added (a significant amount of) salt and it helped, but they were still very bland. Our entrees were of generous portions, presented well and appeared very appetizing but the accompanying fries were boring, skinny, overly greasy and mostly, itsy, bottom-of-the-fry-basket, pieces (hidden under a few longer ones) I had a sirloin burger (medium rare) and though cooked to a perfect temperature, it was unbelievably bland and so disappointing. It was more than obvious that there was ZERO seasoning in the chop meat. My husband had the strip steak, and again, it's presentation was beautiful but lacked flavor overall. We both had to add salt to our entrees as well as the appetizer and we are not those people that regularly add salt to their food unless it's in the preparation/cooking process. Priced appropriately for the location and quality of food, but sadly, the flavor just didn't deliver and left much to be desired. The atmosphere was unbeatable and service was quick, friendly, and professional, thus making it a pleasant experience overall, earning it some well-deserved stars. Probably wouldn't return though.

We went to the Beacon for my birthday dinner, and it did not disappoint. They don't take reservations, walk-in only. We arrived around 7pm on a Saturday night, and waited about 30 minutes at the bar for an outdoor/view table. Tables inside had no wait, but it rained all day, so the story may be different on sunny Saturdays. The crowd picked up later in the evening. The view was really beautiful, and we loved looking out into the harbor at the boats and were lucky enough to get a few minutes of neon pink sunset dipping into the indigo horizon. The food was delicious too. We shared the mussels, and loved dipping the fresh bread into the savory broth. I went with the lobster rigatoni, which had a decadent cheddar/cream sauce and summery corn. I looooved this dish. The lobster was cooked perfectly, the rigatoni was al dente, and it felt perfect for summer.

Six of us had dinner last night at the Beacon. It was delicious, everyone was delighted with their meal. Tuna Nachos- the special was tasty, I ate it too fast and forgot to get a picture... Covid regulations are all being followed and they have removed loads of tables, providing everyone with lots of extra space. We had a little rain, but the outside is adequately covered, nobody got wet and the view is always a winner, no matter the weather!

Scallop kinilaw (ceviche) absolutely delicious! Light and refreshing.

Came here for the sunset dinner, it is so worth it! The views, the food and the very welcoming service. Need I say more. We will definitely be back! Put this on your list when you're in Sag Harbor.

    Tuna crostata special

This has long been my favorite restaurant on the East End and once again it didn't fail to meet expectations. I'm thrilled that they accept reservations now because often what kept me from going were the long anticipated waits. The food is above and beyond excellent. I started with the crispy portobello mushroom which is delicious. My friends both ordered mussels, which they loved. Then I had the special snapper, my friend had the tuna crostata special and my other friend a pork chop. We also couldn't resist getting lobster Mac and cheese for the table. Everything was incredible. Service was exceptional. Love this place.

    Truffle pork Chop, yum!!!

A constant staple in the Hamptons. the food and view are top notch! I hesitated at first with the pre fix of $85 per person this summer, but they take their covid rules seriously and you feel like you are having a romantic dinner alone because we were so spread apart. Worth every penny! Our staple dish s the truffle salad pork chop which is heavenly and their for appetizers try the shrimp tacos or the special tuna nachos, both were divine!

Crispy thin fries and rose - best combo!

I had chosen this place to have dinner with friends from out of town that were vacationing in Sag Harbor. Reviews looked pretty good and fit what they were looking for: good food, water view, not too far from where they were staying. When we drove up, I was seriously questioning myself. The outside looks like a little dated and small. But as other reviewers have said, the interior is very nice and spacious! We were lucky to get a window table although it was foggy so we could not see a lot of the water; just the parking lot and dock. But still better than nothing. I forgot to take pictures of the apps but we shared multiple orders of the burata, fritto misto and salmon tartare (yes, you read that right). All were good and I did enjoy the tartare. For entrees, I got the fish and chips, Cathie got the bouillabaisse, friends got the chicken Milanese special (what a deal!!), Scottish salmon with ramen, burgers, and another bouillabaisse. We all loved our choices but highlights were definitely the chicken Milanese dinner special (because even with slight up charges for certain items, it is an amazing deal!!); and the bouillabaisse. As some other reviewers have said, this is a MUST ORDER! The broth is not too tomato forward but instead is very flavorful with other spices, not just saffron, and the same food is generous and prepared so well! I will come back just for this! My fish and chips were good, even the Cole slaw although I prefer meatier French fries (although these were still good, nice and crispy). Desserts were also very good and service was good after a couple of bumpy starts.

Securing one of the tables by the window overlooking Noyac Bay is definitely a splendid bonus, especially when the summer sun is setting, making it a picture-perfect time to capture the spectacular cotton-colored sky. Reservations are almost mandatory during peak season; wanting to book same day is challenging, however, late evening oftentimes works. A long, dark bar sits by the entryway with cheerful bartenders awaiting. The Bouillasse is a favorite, with clams, muscles, fish, shrimp and lobster in an an unbelievable pinkish-red stew flavored with lovely saffron. I was slightly disappointed the lobster didn't budge easily out of the shell. Nevertheless, the Bouillasse still remains a favorite. Without a doubt, I'll be back for more.

Our dinner at Baron Cove's upstairs venue was much better. My mezcal-based "Smoky Summer" cocktail was delicious and refreshing. Tuna resting on a spiced tomato sauce and mashed potatoes (cheerfully substituted for included fries by our friendly server Aislinn) entree was very tasty and a good portion.
