The ambiance wins here. And, the honey ricotta - yum. Service was ok. I think they are working out links but I see good effort. Free breadsticks are salty but a nice touch. Bar made some great drinks. They had a DJ on Saturday afternoon / early evening which was such a nice touch. Give this place a try.

The Terrace has such a vibe. Loved the DJ on Saturday evening. Shocked that it wasn't more packed but I'm thinking that will start to change. We had the soppressata pizza, flounder, sea bass, and the most amazing ricotta. The flounder does not look very appealing but the flavor was there. The artichokes (amazing) and kale along side the sea bass made the dish delightful. The pizza was good but I prefer a thinner crust. Go for the ricotta and stay for the cocktails! Bartender was lovely. Servers could use a little more experience. Overall, happy to have this place in HB!

This is the restaurant inside the inn and it is very nice! The ambience created trumps the food taste! Food: we ordered the Mediterranean plate to start and the falafel were actually so delicious! I should have ordered the falafel as my main dish just given how delicious and soft these were! The dips that it came with were also so good. For my main I ordered the chicken sandwich and was not blown away, but overall satisfied ! I am happy the chicken was not overtly fried! But it generally lacked some flavor. Ambience: beautiful spot! They have many different levels to the restaurant and we were seated near the kitchen area and it was the perfect spot for a large group! Price: reasonable prices! Service: good service! They were a bit Yoo quick to pick up our plates/ sharing plates

We had such wonderful dinner here. Everything was perfect from the food on down. And wow what a beautiful setting with top notch design. The ribeye was generous and perfectly cooked. The scallop entree was to die for and much more filling that a usual scallop dish. Drinks were mixed well and desserts were great. Shared delicious salads and a very nice seafood tower with some of the best shrimp we've had (fresh from Montauk). We'll definitely be eating at Good Ground Tavern in Canoe Place again.

So I went and met up with friends who had plans to be there for dinner. We ordered a pizza and a salad. The food was good, but we couldn't order any other than one of the two pizzas on the menu. We asked for mushrooms to be added to one, and they said they couldn't do it because they didn't have mushrooms for pizza. They only had them for the dinners. Jake our waiter was polite, efficient, and not overbearing. The staff seems to be getting better, but how could you not be able to add a topping to a pizza ? I keep trying to like this place, but it just doesn't seem to be happening.

Unfortunately, this was a bad experience from start to finish…read more We made a reservation weeks in advance and were told the lawn was first come first serve. We got there when no one else was there, and were told we weren't allowed in the lawn. They were saving it for bigger parties. (This was literally the reason we went) We sat on the deck which was pretty banged up looking. Had to get up out of my seat and go find a waiter to take our drink order. He told me he wasn't allowed to put in an appetizer but he would "do me a favor." The service was slow. And we asked about the Aperol Spritz even that was advertised on Instagram to be happening...and it wasn't and he didn't know about it. We ordered the most expensive things on the menu for meals, and a few drinks. When we went to order another drink after dinner - Our waiter told us no, and that we need to give up the table and go to the lawn. The same lawn, I wasn't allowed on when I got there! When I asked for the manager - he told us no. And went to grab our bill but I said we didn't pay it yet and he threw it on the table and stormed away. Eventually someone else got the manager for us. Her name was Faye. She was unapologetic about the situation and said we were now allowed to have the drinks we asked for, because she had to put people at a different table because we were still sitting. Meanwhile, we were continuously ordering and many tables were open. Everyone was incredibly rude except for the waiter that was training. In the end - the valet (that I didn't want to use in the first place), flew up with my car and ran out. Come to see when I got in, that my tire alert was on and something had been run over while the valet was driving. My tires are $350 just to order. I wasn't happy. You should have to valet because they're certainly not taking responsibility for what happens when they're driving your car. Don't go here. Food is subpar. Everyone says it.

The service was pretty slow and our water cups were constantly empty because they were tiny and probably held less than half a cup of water. We ended up just asking for a large pitcher of water to be left on our table. It was restaurant week and for $46 you could get an appetizer, entree, and dessert which most of us opted to do since an entree alone from the regular menu was about the same price. For appetizer I chose the Amalfi chips which were alright, a little too oily for my liking, and for entree I chose the salmon. The fish was cooked and seasoned very well and it came with some spinach, tomatoes, and olives which added additional pops of flavor. This would have been a very nice meal except for the fact that the food was sitting in a literal puddle of oil. The desert was a small scoop of ice cream which was fine but pretty underwhelming. Overall, I was not really impressed or satisfied with the service (too slow) or the food (too oily) especially considering the menu prices. And while the decor was nice and the workers were friendly, this was a pretty mediocre / below average dining experience.

It has a nice vibe and is not too crowded if you sit at a table. The night we went, the bar was packed so I am glad we were given the option of a table or booth. My brother got a beer and I decided on the Edgewater espresso martini, which was really good. We placed our happy hour food choices when she returned-my brother opted for the wings and I got the shrimp and ,mushroom risotto. The food arrived quickly and was hot. Both our meals were delicious. The risotto was covered with shaved parmesan cheese and was very tasty. I would recommend and will be returning.

Came here on a Thursday night and was able to grab two seats at the bar. I started off with a cosmo which was made perfectly, served in an insulated martini glass to keep it nice and cold. For starters we had the charbroiled oysters which were unlike any oyster dish I've ever had. Topped with garlic, parmesan and sriracha, the sauce that comes off of these bad boys gets soaked up with the focaccia its served with. Honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. We also had fried calamari which was solid. For mains, I had the veal Milanese which was perfectly cooked. Crispy, topped with fresh tomatoes and arugula plus shaved parmesan. My brother had the lobster pasta which I tried and was out of this world. The shitake mushrooms in this dish really add a depth of flavor you don't normally find in a lobster pasta. I haven't stopped thinking about those oysters and will absolutely be back. Everything in the Hamptons is expensive, but this place is where you want to spend your money.

I was game and called the restaurant regarding their happy hour times and was told by the hostess that they do not have a happy hour per se but their bar menu is always available and of course there is lunch and dinner and they always have live music. It is a little off the beaten path and is located in an enclave of restaurants on the water i n Hampton Bays. We walked in and were greeted by the hostess. It is an impressive sized space divided into two sections, a bar area where the live music was playing with seating at the bar and some booth seating and opposite this a larger circular dining room with tables for four and six people overlooking the water. We were seated and menus and a wine list was provided. Our waiter was Joseph Z. He was pleasant, the accommodating and efficient. Our drink orders were taken-a Corona beer for my brother and I ordered a Negroni. We gave our meal orders at the same time. My brother ordered the seafood pasta with a side of French fries-[not shoestring-these looked hand cut] and I ordered the sea scallops and a side of asparagus. The meals arrived shortly and we dug in. My brother enjoyed his food [the French fries looked very appealing] My substantally sized scallops were delicious and cooked perfectly. They were sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes, diced peppers and some greens. The asparagus were cooked well, crisp and very tasty. After our meal and some time to digest, we looked at the dessert menu. My brother opted for the tirami su and I was initially looking at the creme brulee but I had had this recently at another restaurant and then decided on the mixed berry crumble. After taking one bite of the mixed berry crumble, I new it I made the right choice. The dessert came out hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and alongside, a small vat of whipped cream and one of additional mixed berries. This dessert was outstanding. To cap this experience, I ordered a cup of espresso. In summary, the restaurant is clean and well maintained [the restroom as well] The staff is polite and the service is quick. We were there on Mother's Day weekend [Friday] and it is not an inexpensive meal, comparable to what I would have paid for a similar meal in New York City. However, it was well worth the money. It was an experience. I would strongly recommend and I hope to return soon.

It was too hot to eat outside, but at least we got to see the beautiful outside area, which we will definitely check out when the weather is nicer.
