Great food, great atmosphere. Wasn't overly crowded so got a table in the bar area right away. Nothing bad to say only that when the server gave us our check and we asked him to split it out for each person in our group ((of 3 people))...he rolled his eyes as he walked away. read more

Cute place for high quality Italian in Hampton bays! Nice big portions & fresh ingredients. The outside area is great! Then linguine with clams was amazing. The amount of clams they use is insane. You won't be disappointed. The staff was really nice as well read more

Beware - This restaurant billed me for a "no show" when I cancelled my reservation through Yelp, it may not have gone through to their system? No idea, but when I explained this they didn't care and refuse to remove the charge. This is a warning to anyone who makes a reservation with the restaurant, will definitely never be coming here and will advise friends to avoid it as well. read more

One of the best and most affordable fine dining experiences in the Hamptons.

Food came out HOT and delicious! The fried calamari was one of the bests I've had, and you can't go wrong with the filet mignon and shrimp! Steak was cooked perfectly, we both cleared our plates! Would definitely recommend. read more

The food was great!!! Our hostess was our waitress which felt weird. Had the white sangria and it was really bad. Overall food was great and the price was reasonable. read more

Great food. Great view. Service started out a bit slow but improved over time. We will be back.

The outdoor setting was great and the drinks were just ok. The corn salad was bland and the skirt steak dish was fine for coach class airplane food. Come for the view and basic dishes. read more

Have always had a great Experiance until last night ... Food is usually good... went during the week for a birthday dinner.... Disappointed with Frutti Di Mare was very dry...(didn't even eat 75% of it)... rest of the food was great. Service was ok... until I dropped the check with a known waitress because I did not want to leave that amount of cash on the table and needed to get somewhere... our waitress came running outside demanding where the check was "hmm hello where's the check!" I have never felt more embarrassed than last night. I informed her I left it with the other waitress.... Instead of saying thank you or I'm sorry or give me a moment while I check... she just turned around... I could have gone inside and made a big deal but I was in a rush to get somewhere. Being a waitress I understand there are people out there who may leave without paying their bill but I definitely was not that kind of people! I will not be stepping foot in the restaurant for a very long time. read more

Always a delicious meal and great service! Edgewater is our favorite place for a night out or a special occasion.

This place has been our family favorite for about 3 years now! Edgewater is one of our favorite restaurants in the Hamptons. The herb crusted chicken is always my go-to (I will never tire of it), and the shrimp pizza is fantastic as well! Amazing food and amazing service!! read more

Arrived for dinner, seated quickly and sat outside on the deck. Breezy with a lovely view. We order the mussels and Caesar salad - both delicious. I order the lobster pasta-great!!! Restaurant close to the water. However there was a loud wedding party sitting among other clients which made dinner a little disturbing to enjoy. Maybe they can have private party rooms. But otherwise good service great food the pistachio gnocchis was excellent and the drinks were made well not weak read more

Recently ate here and was very impressed. The place was pretty packed at the time, and I ordered a chicken parmigiana and my friend ordered something else, I forget what. But the food was phenomenal and the speed of the food came out so quickly it was amazing. The server was the daughter of the owner, she was super sweet. I love the view of the water as well. Awesome place! Highly recommend it. read more

Fantastic restaurant, service is beyond great, food is always delicious, my husband is obsessed with the pizza. Last year I voiced my concern over fish tanks in the restaurant bar area, the owner heard me, responded to my review and has removed the tanks....it's once again a favorite dining spot. The views are spectacular from every table inside and out. When you have an owner that cares that much about what you think of his restaurant how can you go wrong.... you can't! read more

Go to Edgewater when in Hampton Bays. Family run place the food is the best out here. My kids get the meatballs and Barrera cheese. The pinwheel sausage over broccoli rabe and corn salsa is something to make your taste buds pop. The drinks are great at the bar. Shout out to Rob and Justin at the bar. I would give them 10 stars read more

Top 5 restaurant in the Hamptons imho. The food is consistently quality and tastes delicious. Drinks are a little pricey but they make them pretty stiff so it's worth it. Great view of the bay as well. Would recommend without hesitation. read more

This place is amazing! So many great things to say about it! - the view the amazing! If you go, definitely aim for a spot outside. Bring a jacket because it can get breezy - the service is perfect. Very accommodating. I placed a double order of a salad and added chicken and everything came out perfectly. - the drinks are strong and delicious - the food is outstanding!! I'm literally obsessed with every corn salad they come out with and always make sure to have some to take home! - prices are about what you expect for hamptons ($20-$30 per entree) but add that into the view and great tastes- it's totally worth it! If you're out that way edgewater is a must do! On the weekend, you will want to either go early or make a reservation. It's a popular spot so expect a wait if you don't. read more

I was in the Hamptons area two weekends ago when I visited Edgewater on a Saturday evening for an 8:30 reservation for a party of 6 with my girlfriends. We arrived at 8:33 and waited at the host stand for approximately 13 mins before the host checked us in. The restaurant was packed and there was only one host running around checking on the status of tables, collecting menus, seating parties, etc. She was very frantic and did not have the best attitude (don't blame her since it looked like a hectic dinner service). Another party of 6 arrived after us and checked in 5 minutes after our party, around 8:45-8:50. As we ordered drinks at the bar and waited to be seated, the other party of 6 was pressuring the host for a table. As 9 o'clock rolled around, I asked the host for an update on our table since we've now been waiting a half hour for a table which we had reservations for. She told us "you will be the next table to be seated". What she really meant was, we would be seated after the second party of 6 that arrived AFTER us. At 9:10, the other party of 6 was seated while my friends and I stood waiting. I was livid. I complained to the host and questioned why the party that arrived after us was sat before us. She stated that they supposedly had an 8 o'clock reservation, which I believed to be BS. Even if the party did have a reservation at 8, I do not feel it is right to honor their reservation which they were 45 mins late for while a party who arrived on time for the reservation waited additional time for their table. We were seated between 9:15-9:20. One of my girl friend's was pissed and asked the host to speak with the manager - who never came to the table. We then asked a bus boy 5 mins later to send over the manager - who still never came. The manager finally visited our table after we asked our server who greeted us about 10-15 mins after we were seated. When the manager finally arrived, we told him we asked to speak to him 3 times - which he claimed only one of his staff members approached him (our server). We were so frustrated and asked him why another party would be seated before us when we arrived before them, on time for our reservation. He apologized and told us he would speak with the host and offered us a round of appetizers on the house, which was very kind of him but I would have rather been seated on time to enjoy the meal with my friends. Now onto the meal - The manager served us appetizers on the house: fried cheese raviolis, tomato/goat cheese bruschetta, and a corn salad. All 3 were delicious! The tomato/goat cheese bruschetta is fantastic and a must if you are visiting Edgewater! For my entree I had the seafood stuff flounder which was served with a side of vegetables (zucchini/squash medley) . The flounder was delicious! It was a hearty portion and the flavor was on point. Fish was flaky and cooked perfectly. My one friend ordered the shrimp fra diavlo which was also delicious not as spicy as we would have liked it to be. Another one of my girl friend's ordered the orecchiette with broccoli rabe and sausage, which was good but a bit dry. Two of the other girls ordered their Ahi Tuna special for the evening and said the tuna cut like butter and tasted delicious. At the end of our meal, the manager was kind enough to send over a round of shots to once again apologize about the seating situation. Although it was not necessary, it was still a very kind gesture. I also wanted to mention that the restaurant is very nice on the inside - very modern and classy. The restaurant gets loud when it's busy but it is still very nice for groups. They also offered outdoor seating on their patio which is a nice touch. They have cool fish tanks in the middle of the restaurant with these beautifully colored fish that tied in the decor nicely. The grounds of the restaurant were very nice also - a lounge area outside that offered seating to enjoy your drinks while waiting for your table. Note that the parking lot is very small and gets packed quickly. To sum it up - 4 stars for their delicious food that was well portioned and priced & also the ambiance of the restaurant! But 2 stars for their service (more so the service with seating/reservations and not on our dinner service) TIP - make sure you arrive early because the parking lot is small and gets packed quickly! read more

My girlfriend and I went with another couple to Edgewater because they had a giftcard they needed to use before it expired. I didn't have particularly high expectations for Edgewater, since it was off season, but I figured it would be ok. We sat down and had a round of drinks before ordering our appetizers. We decided on a BBQ duck pizza and bruschetta. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and had I not been saving room for my entree I probably could have hoovered an entire pie of it. For my entree, I ordered pork osso bucco, which is a personal favorite of mine. It was on the specials menu, and I figured I'd give it a shot. The pork was served over a shaved white truffle risotto. It was absolutely delicious, and I was completely satisfied with it. The pork was incredibly tender. The risotto lost a little bit of its edge, as the sauce and juices from the pork mixed in with it, resulting in a loss of its own flavor. However, it was still quite enjoyable. My friends ordered the lobster pasta, which I also tasted. It was ok, but nothing to write home about. With dinner, I had a glass of sangiovese from the house wine list. It had almost no finish and was very underwhelming. My girlfriend has a glass of petit verdot, which also left something to be desired. We probably should have gotten a bottle for the table (seeing as there were four of us). Our server was very good, fairly quick, and pleasant. I would absolutely return to Edgewater if I was in the area. I enjoyed my experience here. read more

You know what Edgewater hands down has really good food and it was FRESH. My girl friends and myself were impressed with the food. I have to say that when we were seated in a very low lit area.... I was very annoyed and edgy......... but our waitress Lily was an absolute doll......... and she was sweet as well. She handled me with care. Lily ensured that we were happy with the service and food. Let's talk about the Food: The Gonzalo salad - DELICIOUS Mussels - DELICIOUS Filet Mignon and Shrimp - DELICIOUS Stuffed Flounder - is a FAVORITE & DELICIOUS Spaghetti w Shrimp in Tomato Sauce - SIMPLE but REALLY GOOD........ This past week, My spouse found this Resturant online and we decided to give it a try. The reviews looked strong and we liked the idea of being by the water. The reviews did not do this place justice! Unbelievable! The service was outstanding, the food was delicious - our appetizers and our main meal were spread perfectly apart, where it didn't feel rushed to finish and the view of the ocean was breathtaking! All around a top notch experience and from now on when in town visiting family, this will be a regular stop for us. By far worth 5+ stars! read more

The food here was excellent and wasn't over priced. There was a wide variety of interesting things to try including the duck pizza. The drinks were decent but not great. We had margaritas which seemed to have a bit too much mix and not enough tequila. The service was hit or miss for us. When something was coming to the table they worked like clockwork and had people coming by with one thing after another and it was great, but for the minor things in between it was hard to get my waitresses attention. After 5 minutes I just got up to find her. All in all i would definitely recommend this place and come back. read more
