The Old Fashion and cheese curds with ranch. Did not disappoint.

Don't let reviews make your decisions. Seems only the bad ones scream the loudest. We had a great dinner and the service was great. The Old Fashion drink was good enough that I had two. Started with the cheese curds, good idea. Then on to our salad and steak dinner. It was delicious. The rolls were really good. I wanted more, but I wanted room for the steak. The temptation of the carrot cake was too great and it didn't disappoint. The whole place was very nice. Welcomed the moment we walked in. Thanks y'all for making our anniversary dinner memorable.

This is not a filet. Cow tenderloin, deserving of a breakfast meat. Maybe.

I would give more stars for the friendly staff and owner but because of the food I just can't. Was hoping for that up north steakhouse dinner that the reviews promised but things fell way short. Drink were great, no issues there but that was the best of it. Came early and was seated shortly after getting our drinks. Service was friendly and prompt, menu looked good, and then came soup and bread. Delicious honey butter but bread was a take n bake grocery square shaped something?? Totally not deserving of that butter!! Then came the steak and ribs. Ribs were very dry and chewy. Filet was a flat, overdone slab of beef that you would expect served with a steak and eggs breakfast at a Greek diner. Sent it back and basically left hungry. Would definitely not recommend or go back.

Found this spot via Yelp during a busy Fourth of July week when every other restaurant was booked! This place is first come first serve, no reservations. I am bummed it took us this long to find this spot because we have been missing out! Fabulous supper club with friendly staff, great views, and delicious food at a good price. Our party of four was seated right away and was taken care of by an efficient yet friendly waiter, Leu. He wasn't messing around! Was prepared for the crazy holiday weekend, we really liked him. Sat in front of a window overlooking the water, they have outdoor seating as well. The old fashioned a were delicious, bartender pumped those out. Our party had the Alfredo, ribs, and pork. Pork was apparently over cooked but the remainder was fabulous-creamy Alfredo and tender ribs. Salad or soup with a good variety of dressings. Garlic mashed potatoes were...yum!!!! Large menu so we will go back and probably order the walleye.

My visit to Eddie B's/White Spruce, happened on a short family weekend in Northern Wisconsin. I have a large extended family, and cousins (+ long-term significant others) get together every year or so to hang out and spend time together. We were staying at a lakehouse in Eagle River and our first order of business was to get ourselves a fish fry dinner on Friday night! Since we were in town the weekend before 4th of July, they wouldn't take reservations, it being a holiday weekend. We were a little cranky about that, but just figured we would go in at a less ideal time and and wait to be seated. Our group of 10 or 11 put our name in with the hostess and sidled up to the bar. We got a couple drinks to tide ourselves over until it was time to eat. As a Wisconsin native who no longer lives there, with a Kentucky boyfriend, I made sure the Fella got a Wisconsin-style old fashioned: a brandy old fashioned, sweet. It may have been his first, but it wasn't his last! The place might not look like much from the outside, but inside it is rustic and home-y and precisely what I would want from a supper club type of place in Northern Wisconsin! And the outdoor space looked wonderful as well. We didn't have to wait too long before we were seated. Our server, Laura, had the (probable) misfortune of having to handle our table. We are a large, loud, boisterous group! I think we all tipped her very well, because, well...we know ourselves :-P She was wonderful with the patience of a saint! Anyway, we told her right off the bat that we wanted separate checks and she just told us we could handle it at the register at the end of the meal. She took our orders, kept track on pad, and at the end she met us at the register and we told her what items we were paying for. She added it up for us and checked off things as they were paid for. It worked out perfectly. As for the food, it was just as I expected it to be! Well...I would have preferred perch for the fish fry, but I was a-ok with the cod. The slaw I got on the side was tangy . I wish there was more of the little bit of kale...thing...on the side. It was super yummy! We also shared several appetizers. The cheese curds were just as they should be. We got some other appetizers, but I can't remember which ones. But everything tasted great! The food took a little bit of a while to come out, but it was a Friday night and we were a large group. We were having a lovely time, so it didn't matter all that much. I really enjoyed our visit. And I can not say enough about the great service we experienced!

Service was okay other than the grumpy bartender. We had to wait to be seated which is okay. We understand a good supper club can get busy. We frequent supper clubs very regularly. So the hostess advised our table of 4 to go to wait in the bar. We ordered drinks and offered to pay, but were told we could add it to our dinner tab so we went with that. When our table was called by the hostess we proceeded to leave as the grumpy bartender shouted loudly, "don't you have a tab to pay!" It was embarrassing to say the least. And it's not like we were leaving...we were with the hostess. Our server was nice and very attentive. Our food was good, but not over the top. Enjoyed the roll, side salad, and ribs. Ribs were good, but more of a bite to the sauce then I generally like. They did fall off the bone though so no complaint there. My 2 boys also enjoyed their pasta dishes.

Went on a recommendation from our hotel and couldn't be happier with the food, hospitality, and overall experience. Eddie B's White Spruce Inn will definitely be on our list when we come back to Eagle River. Amazing fish dishes, ribs, and Northern European fare but Angie and the rest of the staff made the experience one to remember!

Great food and great service! I wish it wasn't so dark and warm inside. I run hot and it was uncomfortable to sit in the warmth for so long.

Service was friendly and quick. Never waited too long for a drink or for food to come out. All in all, very pleased with the meal. Reuben was one of the best I can recall in recent years. Crispy bread, good corned beef, plenty of sauerkraut and dressing. And I found it interesting they added smoked gouda as well. Overall, excellent, excellent sandwich! One of our party members ordered the broasted chicken, which looked and smelled amazing. She said it was excellent. Great portion size and I may try that next time. Another had the bacon Gouda burger and said it was good but messy. And he wasnt the biggest fan of the garlic bread instead of a bun, but said it was still tasty. Messy, but tasty! Other than that, drinks were not bad and were comparably priced to other places in the area. We had brandy old fashioneds for the most part. Have had better but they were still good enough to have multiple! Soup of the day was beer cheese chicken chowder, which was light and flavorful and surprisingly good (I am not a beer cheese person usually but would have this again if given the chance). Fiesta poppers for the appetizer were quick to come out and a great start before entrees rolled out. No sitting and waiting around at all between courses. Overall, very good experience and we will be coming back again to try more of the menu!

The light fixture above the bar is stunningly made from a huge tree trunk and has to be seen to be understood but trust me. It is beautiful. The dining room is spacious and welcoming. Our waitress was right on the ball. Arrived to our table promptly, was attentive but gave us space and time to visit and decide. Eventually, she came back with a warning of an upcoming big party so we ordered right away then and our meals came out in perfect timing. The lobster bisque was a very tasty starter for me and was a nice side option for my friend. No chunks of lobster but the seasoning and taste was just right, so no need for salting. I had the Kimchee ribs special. Wow! So tender and juicy. They slid right off the bone, and the wild rice side with avocado was tasty. My daughter had a "spicy" chicken wrap that they happily modified to not be as spicy and she loved it. My friend tried the mushroom Swiss burger that her husband had the previous time and it did not disappoint. My other friend had the brisket sandwich. The meat was tasty but a little dry. Could have used a little more sauce or juice. HOWEVER, he said that the yummy coleslaw on top served as a perfect "moistener". Overall a delicious meal was had by all.

Sadly I was informed that the owner had recently passed away. It seems to business shall carry on and when inside I noted that a small written letter from the family about Al. As for the food stuff I only purchase smoked fish. Whitefish and salmon. The Wisconsin smoker sells this same product elsewhere, but I only purchased them from this outlet. As for the wild rice this place sells I have no idea if it's available anywhere. I just know I buy enough every year that I only occasionally find myself searching for it when I run out. Fishing widgets and bait are available here and if actually did fish I'm sure I'd stick up when in the region.
