Checked this place out after hearing good things from a few neighbors. Came on a Monday night, but it was still moderately busy, which we felt was a good sign. Service was friendly and quick. Never waited too long for a drink or for food to come out. All in all, very pleased with the meal. Reuben was one of the best I can recall in recent years. Crispy bread, good corned beef, plenty of sauerkraut and dressing. And I found it interesting they added smoked gouda as well. Overall, excellent, excellent sandwich! One of our party members ordered the broasted chicken, which looked and smelled amazing. She said it was excellent. Great portion size and I may try that next time. Another had the bacon Gouda burger and said it was good but messy. And he wasnt the biggest fan of the garlic bread instead of a bun, but said it was still tasty. Messy, but tasty! Other than that, drinks were not bad and were comparably priced to other places in the area. We had brandy old fashioneds for the most part. Have had better but they were still good enough to have multiple! Soup of the day was beer cheese chicken chowder, which was light and flavorful and surprisingly good (I am not a beer cheese person usually but would have this again if given the chance). Fiesta poppers for the appetizer were quick to come out and a great start before entrees rolled out. No sitting and waiting around at all between courses. Fun local vibe type bar. We were in town visiting for Christmas. Hungry after a long drive, we were able to get right in, plenty of seating at 5 but it was filling up fast. I tried the chili, it was good. The bacon ranch chicken was good, great sweet potato fries. My daughter was not a fan of the burger too greasy for her liking and did not like the bun. Erin's Pub & Grub has the best burger in all the county. Probably the next county too! The bacon cheddar bourbon burger is surrounded by a toasty slab of French bread & served with crispy fries. Be warned... this burger is a double fister. Double up on the napkins too! The meat must be a special blend. It's so tender & flavorful. The meat, tastes fresh, definitely not Sysco's frozen best! Came early with the hope a getting a seat at the bar, but it was already completely filled before 4 pm. No problem -- I just grabbed a small table way in the back. I was a bit concerned that no one would see me to take my order, but someone immediately appeared to take my drink order and leave a menu. I had heard on Yelp that the burgers were good, so I got a patty melt. Wow, so juicy and tender with a great flavor. Also had a very attentive waitress, Patty, that came by often to check on things. The service was okay, nothing to special. The ambulance was pretty good, new addition to the building that has some extra seating. It had a nice modern look to it. Although, it was quite echoey. The food however, was absolutely amazing. I got the cajun breaded fish. The fish was amazing it was perfectly breaded, not to much or to little. The cajun flavor was there but lacked spice; so, if you're wondering whether its to spicy or not, it's not spicy. The fish also has that lovely fresh taste. I got a side of tater tots, they were extremely crispy, almost to crispy. (I know that sounds crazy.) One of the other members of my party got sweet potato fries, which I was lucky enough to try. The sweet potato fries were absolutely immaculate. The coleslaw (which, usually i'm not a fan of) was also quite good. The bread was just bread. Overall, it was a good experience. Great local pub. Not very rustic or divey, but still kinda cozy. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The service was good. We order the duck wontons to snack on and they were delicious. Staff are constantly keeping the bar and dining area bussed and clean. The bathrooms are clean and welll stocked also. read more

First time there. In town on business. Clean, well lit, family friendly. Typical "locals" bar. Seems like it is a neighborhood bar frequented by regulars. I had pizza for dinner, and a few beers. Pizza Toppings were fresh but the crust was very thin and indistinguishable from a stale saltine. That said, I cannot speak to the rest of the menu. There were many offerings and I will come back again to give the burgers, and the Bar a second look. Full Bar and about 6 beers on tap. Bartender appeared a bit overwhelmed, but managed to accommodate everyone, eventually. *we all have one of those days. Stopped in for a burger & bloody for late lunch. The bar stools were relatively full but with a bit of scooching by the patrons we found two stools next to one another. Everyone was helpful and chatty. The burgers were great and the Bloody Marys were amazing. It's definitely on our list for lunch the next time we go through town!! read more

Four of us drove to Eagle River intending to dine at another establishment, but it was closed (one for me not googling operating hours). Had passed Erin's along the way and decided to go there as Plan B. Exterior/interior nothing to brag about, silverware needs updating to something that doesn't bend in your hand while eating salad. BUT. The service was A+ (thank you, Laura). The food was top-notch bar food. I had the rueben (best flavor I've ever eaten), hubby's burger was A+, and the others had the shaved prime rib sandwich, also given an A+. On my dinner salad I had Italian dressing so divine I paid extra to bring some home. Don't be dismayed by the lack of ambiance - the food kills it! read more

This place was just... ok. I got boneless wings and loaded tater tots. The wings were pretty good but the tater tots sucked. The came out with some melted but hardened shredded cheese... like it had been sitting back there a while. Tomatoes and tons or black olives some jalapeños and a couple rings of onion. I thought these would be more like nachos with some cheese sauce but most of the tater tots were just plain bc everything was stuck in the hardened melted cheese one the top. Stopped on the other day with friends for a drink and ended up with dinner too. Staff was friendly. Prices were decent. Food was good and plentiful. We had a pizza. Rate it in our top 5 pizzas ever. Came for lunch on a weekday and we were delighted. Very friendly service and great food. We tried the chicken tenders and the prime rib grilled cheese along with some must-have cheese curds. The ranch is clearly house-made and delicious with the curds. Very reasonably priced food and drinks. Luckily there are two rooms for seating, so there wasn't a wait. The other restaurants with which we were familiar were all closed (because Tuesday, I guess). Lucky, lucky us! The menu has the old favorites and a few surprises. Rueben kegs? Fried avocado balls? We both had the prime rib grilled cheese. Really good! We got there for a late lunch, and it was still packed, but our server was great anyway, and our food came after a reasonable wait, exactly as we ordered. It's not McDonald's. They didn't make it before we sat down, but they weren't waiting for the Swiss cheese to age either. Know what I mean? I will definitely go back. The prices were reasonable. My only complaint is the bathroom floor was not wet, but treacherously slick. One step in, and I turned around. Not worth the risk. It felt like they mopped with crisco by mistake. read more

Went twice, Friday fish fry, 80 minute wait, sub par fish fry for Eagle River, can't hold a candle to Honey Bear. Then again last night, a child hostess, who seated us at the bar to wait then when a table cleared gave it to a couple that had just walked in. 45 minute wait, rude waitress, when asked about our order she said, "Do you want me to cancel it?"
