Sadly I was informed that the owner had recently passed away. It seems to business shall carry on and when inside I noted that a small written letter from the family about Al. As for the food stuff I only purchase smoked fish. Whitefish and salmon. The Wisconsin smoker sells this same product elsewhere, but I only purchased them from this outlet. As for the wild rice this place sells I have no idea if it's available anywhere. I just know I buy enough every year that I only occasionally find myself searching for it when I run out. The eggs were fluffy and thick not thin like a crepe. And they did not skimp on the ingredients. My husband had the garbage and I had the Mexican omelet. The restaurant looked clean and the waitress was attentive and friendly. We were greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant. If you are looking for an omelet done the right way and are in Eagle River this is the place to go!
